Store is good for grabbing a sandwich or things you need between regular grocery shopping. They really need to stop people from hanging out front of store! Makes you think twice before you go.

Nice little family market....nothing special but the good folks who run the place do a good job of providing good produce and service

The prices are so high, sometimes it’s cheaper to buy items at a gas station (example mac and cheese, chips, soda, etc). It’s a shame they run their prices so high knowing they basically have a grocery monopoly on the midtown/downtown area.

They make nice Subs Sandwiches good prices. Open at 7 AM close around 8 PM. Food prices are to high there is another store going towards Forster on the opposite side not to sure of their prices. Come pairing prices to the Broad Street Market the Market food is much fresher only open 3 days. Thats Thursday, Friday, and Saturday close at 5 PM on T, F, on S close at 4 PM. Reasonable prices for cook or raw foods.

Location is everything. Best selection of whatever you want in midtown. No need to drive out of the city. Prices are good too.Its very busy and kinda cramped, but you get what you pay for. Maybe theyll renovate eventually.

The produce was fresh, and cheaper than the market I used to go to. Also the cashier was courteous.

Lots of things I need but somethings like for example yeast they dont have that its all out of stock for example popcorn one day you see it there another two days its gone so they really mean to refill stuff more and replace stuff more plus just lots of boxes everywhere which makes it hard to go through

I dont agree with the post saying they serve Ghetto trash. 3rd Street has numerous good businesses. Either a business operates efficient or it doesnt. Over time a competitor will replace another businesses flaws.Thats the way or free enterprise.

Great location, since Harrisburg has no grocery stores except for overpriced corner stores! This place accepts food stamps also!

Usually when I go there, there r no problems but when I went yesterday (Sunday) there was a BIG dispute between a customer and th employee behind th main counter. Evidently th customer was upset because his picture was publicly displayed 4 all 2 c as sum1 who is a thief, and he wanted his picture taken down. He got pretty loud about it. As a manager in a State agency, I believe th employee did not handle th situation properly. She should have called th police. Rather than doing that she entered into a shouting match with th man, and then... She began throwing things at him!! I couldnt believe that! He was wrong but as an employee she is th face of her company and her company did not look good at that particular moment, she really needs 2 attend Anger Management training!

They have everything! Ive bought childrens pain reliever, produce, they even have all of the items needed to make a Bloody Mary! (tomato juice, worcestershire sauce, tobasco, and even horse radish!) They even have an ATM for when the Broad Street Markets cash machine is down!And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Who needs One Stop with their inflated prices and less than friendly staff? I go to Sayfords anytime I can!
