Looks are deceiving with this furniture store!! I have passed House of Oak and Sofa countless times over the years and never stopped in until yesterday. From the moment I walked in the door, I was surprised and impressed. I was immediately greeted by Bill, and directed to dozens of ALL WOOD TV stands that I was looking for. He offered to answer questions, but also let me wander and just browse the store. The place is huge and packed with beautiful, well made furniture including many amazing and gorgeous Amish pieces. I spent well over an hour just looking, beyond the TV stands. I hope to return and make a purchase in the near future.

Spent over 1500 for a table and chairs. It didnt take long for the finish 2 come off. Worst furniture Ive ever bought...they didnt or wouldnt do nothing about it, never figured that out

Called for details on recliners. Very impressed with Merles knowledge, his patience explaining details and processes, and the level of service. Would recommend this place to anyone!

My wife ordered a sofa in November 2020 with deposit. It is now almost March, been put off 3 times with no notice,no calls.Cant get the deposit back.cant get the sofa we paid for.Hung up on us.How does this work?

Nice furniture. Looks like good quality. We were excited and motivated to buy from a local store today. My mother in law was super excited to purchase her pieces today after many days of picking out the swatches she liked and style sofa and chairs. She was in full anticipation that, like any retail store, would be willing to give 10% off when you buy more than one piece. They were willing to give 2% off the sticker price. She told them well, I’d be willing to buy if you give me 5% off. They said no, 2% is all we’re doing. So, she walked out. I was ready to purchase some new furniture from there as well. They’re not getting my business nor hers. What retail furniture store doesn’t give even a 5% discount on a multiple piece sale?? Good grief 🙄

After much deliberation over window treatments, we decided to go with the plantation shutters and we couldnt be happier. So pleased with our decision to go with House of Oak and Sofa. The installation went flawlessly and they took care to cover the floors while working. We decided to go with separate shutter levers so we could adjust the upper and lower louvers separately. This allows us to let light in through the top, while retaining more privacy at the bottom. They have added such a distinctive look to our house, both inside and out.

I visited the store today looking for a new sofa and love seat. I was there for 15 minutes and tried out various options. During my time their no one even acknowledge my presence. The employees did however have time to chat with each other and talk about food with whatever sauce on it. For anyone who is sensitive to smells, there was an overpowering fragrance in the air the you could not get away from. Instant headache for me.

AMAZING store! Huge! Gorgeous furniture and mattresses. Great selection and a discount area as well! We purchased a man-cave sofa, 2 chairs and our king mattress from House Of Oak. Merle was so knowledgable and helpful. This is great quality furniture. If your looking for a piece that lasts, visiting House of Oak is a must!

So frustrated with this store and their customer service. I purchased a sofa and a recliner from them with a lifetime warranty. They informed me a lifetime of these two pieces of furniture was 10 years, which seems fair. A few bolts have since fallen out of the chair, making it unstable and one of the cushions on the couch is flat...the couch also appears to be slightly sagging in the middle, but I cant tell if it is because the cushion is flat or if its actually sagging.I left a message at the store regarding these issues and no one ever contacted me. So I stopped by the store. They confirmed the warranty and said someone would need to come to my house to inspect the furniture to determine if the described damage was under warranty. They placed me on a call list to schedule the in house consultation. One week went by....no calls. I called again in follow-up. I was told I would be contacted over the weekend to schedule the in home consultation. Another week went by....I never received a call. This continued for 6 weeks straight. Every time I called I was informed someone would call me back and I never received a call. It has since been 3 months since I initiated this process and I STILL have not heard from anyone.Save your money and purchase furniture someone else. I bought a recliner from Grand Home Furnishings years before I purchased the pieces from House of Oak. It didnt come with a warranty, but is in WAY better condition....and it appears House of Oaks warranty means nothing to them anyway.

Not impressed with first employee who greeted my wife. He didnt seem to want to help. The owner then came over and he was very good. Worked hard and know his stuff. We bought furniture due to him.

CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL! My wife and I just got the couch that we ordered. Quality stuff. We love it. When we placed the order we were told that it would be 6-8 weeks. At week 10 I decided to call and ask about it, you know, Any idea when.... The response was I dont know, usually 6-8 weeks. I explained that it was week 10. Then week 11, week 12, week 13, 14, 15. It finally came a month and a half after the promised date. I dont have a problem with the length of time that it took to get a quality piece of furniture, but when I am told a delivery time, I expect it to be honored. If you cant deliver it when you say, then dont say it. I would rather you say it will take 4 months and deliver in 3 1/2 than to tell me 1 1/2- 2 months and its 3 1/2. Just saying.

It Is Absolutely Awful! Would not recommend coming here.Their Prices Are Up the chart. You Buy A Chair worth 1,000 Dollars.While you can buy one Better online for 30 Dollars.Terrible pricing!
