One of my favorite downtown spots. Plenty of adorable decor, paper fun, tons of jewelry, cards, animal and kid stuff... Its packed full of beautiful local makes and some non local things that are musts as well. If your lucky one of their foster pets will be there to play. Super LGBTQ inclusive. Lots of feminist paraphernalia. Love It.

I always feel so happy when I visit The Lady Jane. Not only does the store feature a gorgeous assortment of candles, cards, jewelry, and other fun gifts, it smells like scented candles, and if you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted by one of the well-behaved resident shop critters. The minute you walk in, you are met with the comforting aromas of burning candles, a friendly and endearing hello from whoever is working, and an incredible amount of peace due to the thoughtful arrangement of the store. Sara, the owner, has poured herself into her business in order to make it a place of refuge for everyone, and the perfect shop to get a gift for a loved one. This is my go-to place when I need inspiration, a gift, to pet a cute foster animal, or conversation. One of the loveliest things about the shop is that so many of the items are from local vendors and artists! I cannot recommend The Lady Jane enough to visitors and residents alike!

Sarah @theladyjane is always helpful in finding gifts and office decor. She helped me find the right fit for this beautiful magazine cover. The next day, her assistant assisted me in finding a gift based on my wonky description. They are very kind with lots of patience.

This cute little shop is perfect for finding gifts, whether it be from someone else or yourself! I love their selection of locally made jewelry, prints, etc. I love seeing the creativity of this community. This is a well-curated store, thats for sure. She stocks beautiful posters from Cavallini Papers, I could buy them all. Sara just might be the friendliest person I know! I always feel kindly welcomed when I walk in the door (not to mention, theres usually a foster cat living the life in the shop, just waiting to be adopted!). The best shop in Harrisonburg! The owner Sarah is the sweetest person Ive ever met, and the shop itself carries charming and unique gifts including prints by local artists, jewelry, stationary, vintage furniture and decor, greeting cards, and so much more. Each month Lady Jane features a local artist, and they often foster a cat for the local cat rescue, Cats Cradle. Lady Jane is truly the gem of mainstreet Harrisonburg!
