I like this store but I would prefer to see more AMERICAN made items. Stop stocking this China stuff on the shelves, they dont hold up.

Awesome for cheaper tools and equipment. Quite low quality products, but they are cheap. Any tool that will wear out quickly from normal work can be found here at a good price.

Cheap tools-- very convenient when you dont need them to last forever but really need to get the job done.

Real good selection of tools ! No, theyre not Snap On quality but for a farmer like me, theyre affordable and I am not out of as much money if they get lost! These tools also are a good choice for stocking a tool box for a vehicle or any recreational vehicle!

The customer service here is pretty great. The only problem that I have been having lately is they are out of stock in some things that are still on display. The more expensive items they take out the box and when you buy it you just take up the empty box and they will get it for you. I asked 3 different times for 3 different items that looked like they had it because the box was on the shelf. Come to find out they are out of many things. And the bad part about it Im shopping and see the product box on the shelf I assume that you have it in stock. But thats not the case with you guys. I will have to say that is very very agrivating. Especially when we have to wait 10 or 15 maybe longer until an employee goes to the back serching for this product. Just for him to say Im sorry but we dont have that eather. Sorry harbor freight I not usu5a hard judge but my experience has been unwelcoming

A tool geeks paradise! Store was clean, well stocked and organized. These tools are more cheaply made than other brand named tools, however they are fine for occasional use. Power, hand, and pneumatic tools are available. When I shop here, I always buy more than I have on my list.

Its nice to have a store that carries all the tools, and things they have at a reasonable price. Sure there are places that have higher quality but they cost a lot more. Harbor freight has been good about replacing broken tools.

The young chubby cashier is the rudest person ive ever met in a harbor freight. She grunted and made a face when i said i had a coupon. Another item was on clearance but she ignored the purple sticker turned it over and scanned the original barcode on the back. And then grunted and made more faces when i had her correct it. Last time in the harrisonburg store for me.....

Great place for cheap tools that work

Great prices as to be expected. The staff was very friendly and much more helpful than some of the sales staff at the one in Waynesboro, VA. We try to go to this one even though its farther just because we dont want to spend so much time waiting for someone to help us and we are not ignored at the register for 5-10 minutes like some of ladies in Waynesboro do, so we go when we make our monthly Costco trip.

You can normally find any tool you are looking for. But the coupons do not always load up on app or in store. Be prepared to have coupons ready or take pictures on your phone.

A great place to shop. Easy to get in and out of. I bought 1 by 15ft ratchet straps for $6.99 with a coupon. A good deal I think.

My husband loves harbor freight. The prices are pretty reasonable and they get you rang up pretty quickly. We also like the freebies from the sales book so thats great too.

They had exactly what I was looking for. My car cover blows half off in thunderstorms. The company I bought the cover from has a kit for 12.99 plus shipping. I got the almost identical parts (with extra bungee cords) for 11.00. No waiting, no shipping.

I thought i was going to give a 5, then I went to the checkout. I heard the cashier being extremely nice to the men that went through her line before me, so I thought wow, she is very informative, knowledgeable and friendly... Then it was my turn. My experience was not the same as I witnessed just a moment before. She wasnt friendly, didnt explain the different types of membership, and I ended up putting all but 2 of my items back. Had she explained things to me and been friendly I would have kept everything I was going to purchase. As it is now, I may not return to this store.

Harbor Freight is always a good experience. The store is clean and very accessible. It is very well organized. the only problem I have with Harbor Freight is the Personnel. They tend to be a bit slow at times and they dont know their store. But if you need a tool its the place to go.

Clean, good access from main road and surface streets. Many, most, if not all tools come with a warranty. Prices are clearly marked and associate help comes from knowledge. Ive used their sockets, wrenches and screwdriver and Ive not had any problems. Couple years ago we bought a starter automotive tool kit for a cousin who went to trade school and is now a mechanic for a local garage and doing well. Sure, hes bought MATCO and SNAP ON, But he still has ALL of the tools from his original kit. So yes, for price concerned people, this IS a good alternative to higher priced tools.

This location is on the popular Market Street which is the go to location for locals, tourists and those transiting through the area off I 81.Harbor is located about 5 minutes or so from the Massanutten Resort. There is a small free parking lot for at least a dozen plus cars. A few spots are dedicated for the handicap.Due to a major power outage in the area I stopped in to get lights. The store was busy with others needing supplies for the night. Inventory was low, but there were a few items left.The staff was pleasant and did their very best under the circumstances. Customer service stood out to make this branch different from the rest.

My favorite place to shop for tools and supplies for my business. Good service and a great selection of things to stock my garage. Sale prices for lots of cool stuff to help the do it yourself kinda person.

I purchased a paint sprayer and never used the item. When I returned to the Harrisonburg, Virginia store they charged a restocking fee. The box had never been opened until the sales associate opened to check the item. She stated opened items had to be checked for all parts. The box had not been opened until she did. This is a pure gimmick to keep part of your money for returns! I will go to Lowes or Home Depot for now on!

The staff is usually friendly. The prices are very reasonable with deep discounted coupons. They offer free items as well. But, like usually you get what you pay for. The tools are made cheap.

I like the deals at h.f. but theyre corporate geek squad has taken over and finding a free gift coupon online is time consuming if not impossible. I stood and stared at a tape measure for 10 mins trying to get the code for it. Got redirected every time and finally left it hanging on the rack. Was 4 stars buy as I typed the review I got irritated again.....3 stars! Sorry h.f. I used to love ya.

The smell of Chinese plastic toxins greet you as you walk in the door. With everything being made in China, why pay more? 20% off coupon and a free gift with any purchase only makes the whole thing better. Clean store with friendly staff. In my experience, harbor freight has exchanged any product that didnt work.

The store was great but i was very disappointed with the cashier we had she rushing wouldnt take time and when i was signing our name for our credit card she said drawn a line it quicker maybe im over acting but in the pass all the cashiers was very helpful and caring no matter how busy they where.they would look for coupons and took time She wouldnt help with our free item.
