Anytime I need, I go Ace first. Someone is always there to answer questions with knowledge and if unsure ask others that may know on the specifics. Its nice to go somewhere I dont have to go back for returns because I get whats needed the first time.

One of my go to places. VERY well stocked. Big box stores can make the locals look small but Hahn is loaded up very well. I almost always get what Im after. Nursery is well stocked too. I found a butterfly bush there that nobody else had. Glad they are here.

I was making a run to Ace for a friend who was helping me out. Of course, I had no idea what I was in for or what I was doing, and thankfully Ace had me covered. It is no joke when they say Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks. I am truly thankful for the great staff and amazing experience I had here.

Glad this place is here. Has high quality stains and finishes of General Finishes. Its getting hard to find quality items and Im willing to pay a bit more for quality.

We purchased a Tv mount elsewhere and when we began to assemble it. We found that it was missing a few bolts. We visited the shore about ten minutes before close, and Derec took the time to go through a bunch of different options to find the best fit. All for a sale of only .66. What great customer service! Awesome service! We ordered a grill and took advantage of the free assembly. We didnt ask for delivery since we were out of range, but on the day it was done, they delivered it for free anyway! Great service!

Its a good local hardware store with a good selection of everything. Only complaint is that the service area for mowers, trimmers and such usually takes a couple weeks for anything.

Frequent empty peghooks and bins of popular items frustrate me regularly here. Little back stock of consumables like drill bits dremel bits etc. I have walked in here and NOT been able to buy a 1/4 drill bit before. Quart prices of thinner fractionally less than gallons. I wish we had a Lowes, home depot, or menards closer.

I love shopping here. Called later afternoon on a Saturday. The lady that answered the phone was so pleasant and transferred me to the rental area. In the rental area an young man by the name of Ethan answered my call. He was so pleasant to speak with and was professional and was able to answer all of my questions. He took care of everything and my rental was ready when we arrived 10 minutes later. I did not get the name of the gentleman at the rental counter who assistated us but also very nice. Wanted to also point out a young man in the garden area who enthusiastically asked to load my pebble stones into the truck for us.Thank You Hahn for having an amazing staff and store.

For a person that has the need for just the right hardware to install hidden security cameras, these guys have it. Nuts, bolts, screws in several types of metal. They even have some nylon hardware.Looking for a really rugged L.E.D. flashlight. They have them.Their cleaning supplies leave many regular department stores in the dust.Fantastic selection. They seem to have the things you need and cant find anywhere else. They are a little higher than most places but when weve needed certain things, they always seem to have it when other places dont.

This store always was what I need . The staff is always super helpful and friendly. However there service department sucks . Dealt with them twice and then other times had to take my mower and snow blower to other places to get get them properly repaired

Helpful, friendly service with a good selection of products. Does not have the selection of the big box stores but you dont have to walk a half mile to get screws and the staff is far more helpful and knowledgeable. Even had a young man working there offer to load my salt in my car for me but I am not that old yet.

Needed suggestions on fixing my grandfathers deck. Close to closing time the younger child that work theredidnt know much so he got the manager. The manager wanted to close and didnt want to take the time to completely help me and listen to the issues I had. He sold me whatever he thought of and come to find out I went to the Ace Hardware in Waukesha and they are phenomenal. I had to return everything I bought from the acein Hartford they sold me all of the wrong things including the paint brushes for stain which was the wrong stain anyway

I was in Hahn Ace Hardware for only about 10 minutes just now, and no fewer than 5 employees asked if they could help me. It didnt feel like a hard sell, just like they all wanted to be sure I was finding what I wanted. Its like that every time I go there.

Theyve always had things other stores didnt carry, it seems like if I can never find what I need in town, they have it. The prices are a little high but not terrible and the staff are accommodating and friendly. Very old-school, hometowny hardware store.

I have been going to hahns in Hartford as I know the shutdown really hurt them. No more. I went today to get more plants in addition to many bags of rock, sand etc Ive purchased there. Presented my $5 off purchase of $20. Turns out I was .02 short on regularly priced items. So no go. When I went inside to get some spray paint I stopped and went to Menards. Your price $2.97 Menards.97. That sealed it. I know you gotta make a living and the big guys kill you on price. Ive ignored it. Not anymore. Too bad. You had me back.

Hello my name is Deric and I have been working at Hahn ace hardware and rental for around three and a half years now and know it pretty well. I am making this to responded to a comment left by Brittany Gutknecht. I just want to start by saying I am sorry you had a bad experience with us. I apologize that I was not able to assist you the other day but I would like to take a moment to explain our policy when cutting a customers key blank and hopefully shed some light on why our employees may have chosen not to cut your key blank.We at Hahn ace hardware and rental reserve the right to not cut the blank copy that a customer brings in due to liability with the key not working. Cheaper, simpler house and older cars keys are easy to replace if something goes wrong. Chipped keys are much more complicated. There are several variables that go into matching and cutting a chipped key for a modern car. We might know that the cut is correct but we dont know if the key is correct or if it has been properly programmed to match your car. This can result in your car not working properly and leaving you stranded. When we are able to use one of our keys we can control all of those variables and make sure that everything works out.

Ryan and his staff (young man outside especially) helped us pick out our Xmas tree. They had a great selection at a great price. Hahns is also great for rentals!

Mr. Hahn is right on target. I have never experienced anything negative at the Hartford store. In fact, the level of service is way beyond the typical. Compared to the average home improvement store, this place is like going to the spa.

Great neighborhood hardware store, very rarely have they not had something Ive needed in a pinch, from yardwork supplies to metric fasteners to hand tools. Prices can be higher, but the fact that theyre nearby and well stocked makes that ok. I havent had to consult much with issues so I cant speak for helpfulness of employees.

Ashley posted that we were rude, unhelpful and expensive. I take exception to this as I personally had the interaction with Ashley today, about some hanging baskets that she purchased from our greenhouse that she felt were not performing or healthy. I tried to explain to Ashley that the baskets she purchased are the largest and most expensive baskets that we sell, and they will need to be maintained on a daily basis if you expect them to look healthy and perform. Over the 39 years that I have been selling plants, usually once a year we get a customer that comes to us with this concern. We take the time to explain the needs and care of these plants, since they are so plush and deluxe. We have had customers come back to thank us for the full explanation of what care the plant will need.I dont believe that I was rude to you, as witnessed by two of our employees that observed the interaction, and the full security video that I have of the encounter. While I was trying to help explain that the plants needed a lot more water than they were getting, and you said they were watered, but couldnt tell me how much, you asked me so your going to give me my money back, and I said no, we need to talk about the care of the plants, as the plants had absolutely no moisture in the pot. You said in your review that we were rude, but you turned around and walked out while I was trying to help explain the needs of these plants. We even have our computer print onto the receipts of these large baskets that they will need daily watering of at least 1/2 gallon of water. I was never able to get to that point, as you walked away from me before I could really help you. If you wish, I would be more than happy if you called me, and I could finish helping you with the care of these plants.
