When the spring on my garage door broke, I discussed options with Alyssa, who was extremely informative without any pressure. I ended up deciding to replace the entire door (which was needed in the long run anyway) after clamping the spring as a temporary fix. I was referred to Hartland Overhead Doors over a decade ago. They replaced a door...then I called a few years later to have a new opener installed...then I moved 30 miles away and outside of their service area but...they showed up to inspect and adjust the door at my new place...and this week when a cable broke and my door collapsed on one side early in the evening, I contacted them via their form on their website, hoping and praying they could help with repairs this week. That evening I received an email saying their technician would arrive in the afternoon. John arrived at 1:30, assured me the repair was no problem and 30 minutes later, my door was back in service. I had Hartland Overhead Door come out and service our garage door as part of the inspection when we sold our previous home. They were easy to schedule with, and when the tech arrived he was friendly, professional, and made the garage door operate so nicely that it was hard not to notice the incredible difference on the eight year old setup. Fast forward a month, and the garage doors on my new home are an absolute wreck. The sensors looked like theyd been hit with a car at one point, the door didnt track well, the cheap Genie system was noisy, and the weather stripping at the bottom was all torn up. I ended up having to disconnect the door from the motor and drive system to get it to close, and even then it hung a few inches off the ground. Based on the previous experience, I called Hartland Overhead Door again. Sure enough they had us on the schedule just a couple days out. I was originally going to have things tuned up, but I spoke to Alyssa on the phone and inquired about the cost of a new system. I ended up asking them to install a brand new LiftMaster Elite 3/4 HP WiFi connected setup. I wont mention the total price, but I will say that if you price out the system on Amazon, Hartland Overhead Door is offering a STEAL on both the system and install. I was offered new control panels, new motors, new drive, a new outdoor control panel, a tune-up, new sensors, and new weather stripping for the price. Even having changed the plan from a simple tune-up to a total reinstallation, they had Seth out the same day. He was also extremely professional and friendly. He had everything installed and configured, oiled the springs, and replaced the weather stripping in about two hours total. Afterwards, he told me all about the system, how I could use the LiftMaster app, and about all the other smart features. They even hauled off the junked Genie units. If youre looking for overhead door work, this is the only place to call.

Outstanding response time on a snowy winter day, friendly and outstanding service. During the hustle and bustle of our first day bringing our baby to daycare we managed to back into our garage door. The man who came to help was able to salvage the garage door, thus saving us hundreds of dollars we might have had to pay for a new panel or a whole new door. He also greased the wheels for us at no extra charge. And the whole thing took less than an hour. I highly recommend this company.

Just amazing service. I ive in milwaukee and first called one of the other guys Big mistake. The other guys refused to repair what was broken and charged me 40 bucks just to push a new stystem knowing it wasnt necessary.I heard about hartland overhead, called and got next day service. They were very accomidating to my schedule. He came out inspected and fixed the door quickly and not once tried to bs me with unneccesary extras.Seriously, dont waste your time or money by calling anyone else.

These guys have been servicing my garage doors at my home in Oconomowoc for ever. There service and response time has always been great. So when a garage door spring broke down at my place of business I gave them a call. The location was near the airport in Milwaukee and I wasnt sure if they went that far. Friday afternoon one of the cables on one of our overhead doors snapped. Door was stuck about 80% open. After Googling I found your web site. Weve been using Hartland Overhead Door for years now, but I really had to share my experience today. Our garage door broke on Monday/Memorial Day. I called at 7:30 this morning (Tuesday) and my garage door was fixed by the time I got home from work this afternoon. Who provides that kind of service anymore? Saturday morning emergency - cable came off the roller and door would not open. The service tech was out within an hour of calling them. Very friendly service man and he repaired the problem within a half hour. I would definitely recommend Hartland Overhead Door.
