To start with, theres 1 star only because you cant submit a review with ZERO stars.Where to start...The work environment is extremely toxic. The reality of things is solely based on perception. So with that, the management is clueless to what is REALLY going on. The benefits, well there are a few. Last time checked there were 7 paid holidays. Problem with that is, the majority of times the day before the holiday the management will come around and ask if you can work over the holidays. Being asked to work over Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas is common place. Along with that, the hours worked are manipulated so you work for straight time. If you dont work, youll be remembered as the one who didnt give it your all and are not considered company worthy material.Meanwhile the owners are off jetting to the Galapagos Islands. There used to be a 401K plan, that is now suspended because the company is not contributing. Even when there was contribution, the company was contributing about $300 per year. Some incentive. The management, owners are so indecisive in everything they do nobody has any control over anything. The management has no clue when to recognize real talent. The dumber the person is the higher they will rise. The company is basically a place for charity cases. If your smart, talented and can do it on your own, youll be scrutinized, badgered and singled out as being the odd man out. Eventually youll be pushed out the door because you cant be trusted by management.Work ethic doesnt exist. There is absolutely no pride in craftmanship. The whole shop is in complete disarray. The business supposedly is ISO certified, but nothing is run per the ISO procedure during the day to day operations. But then 2 days before the audit management will wonder why nothing is done. Its no secret the tooling vendors are hesitant about going in to sell tooling because they know they are not going to get paid. Most handyman basements are better equipped than what they call the Toolroom. Many times projects get started, but there isnt enough money to buy material for the job. If your one of the unlucky ones who has the responsibility to head up a project, you cant buy any tooling from most vendors because the credit limit is maxed out and its a cash only sale. But then the management will bang on you why youre not getting anywhere with tooling purchases. The company is perpetually on the edge of bankruptcy. The owners dont have any clue on how to manage or handle money. They are good at taking it for themselves though. The shop is still in the caveman days. Programming is still done without the aid of any CAM software. CAD software is not kept up to date. The last time CAD software was updated was in 2012.This review could go on for another 10 pages telling everything wrong with this place. This review has nothing inflated, if anything its more understated and underrated. The idea is not to slander but depict an accurate assessment of how it really is. Working at or doing business with this company will get you nowhere and nothing but dissatisfaction. Consider yourself informed.
I dont hate the place but they didnt have any reason to fire me. Im planning on suing
