Love going there for service because theyre one of the few dealerships that have specials on their services. Coupons are readily available. Staff is great. Very helpful. Recently bought a used Hyundai Kona from here and had a horrible experience. The finance manager is a bully and extremely rude. And he kept threatening me every couple of minutes that I can leave the deal if I dont agree to his terms and this isnt worth his time. If doing your job is not worth your time, why are you still there? He didnt explain any of the costs being charged to me and put a ~$3000 acquisition fee. When I asked for an official document showing break up of the total cost, I was outright denied. If you are not doing anything illegal, why the secrecy? I feel cheated and harassed at this dealership. Just want others to be informed before they step into this dealership.UPDATE: Even after 3 weeks after purchase, I have still not received a bill!

I bought a 2020 Kona from here and got pressured into buying it that night because they said the deal had to be done that night. When I got home I realized that all they did was get over on me. They charged me over $4000 in taxes and fees. The manager that told me to come down and look at the car sent me an email showing how the taxes and fees were only a little more than $1700. When I called them the next day I was basically told it was to late because the loan already went through. My advice to anyone who wants to buy a car is to not go to Central Hyundai. Worst experience buying a car that I’ve ever had.

Max not only demonstrated empathy and patience while he worked to get me the price/vehicle I was looking for, but even followed me to Enterprise so I could return my rental, and head back to the dealer to leave with my new car. Highly recommend to anyone tired of the typical car-buying circus show.

Pros: I was able to speak with a sales agent within 5 minutes of walking in the door.Cons: I received a letter in the mail about a reimbursement offer from this Hyundai dealership. The letter is outlined at the end of this review. Before going into the dealership, I called and spoke to an online representative for this location. During the call, the woman informed me that I received the letter because they just want to buy back cars and improve their used car inventory. I was also told that I would have the option of selling my car for the price listed on the letter or trading the car in for a new OR used car. These statements were made to lure me into the dealership. Im not upset about the marketing strategy, but my issue comes with the false advertisement that was displayed.When I arrived to the dealership on Saturday, April 17, 2021, I met with sales representative Errol Hamilton and when I showed him the letter, he acted as though he was confused by the offer and later explained that everyone received the same letter. However, this is not true because though others may have received an offer for their cars, the contents of this letter was specific to MY vehicle(year, make, model, buyout price etc) which reveals that there was some research made on my vehicle prior to distributing the letter.After witnessing Errols confusion, I simply said that I would like to accept the cash offer in exchange for my vehicle instead of trading it in for a newer version. He then explained that he would get an appraisal for the car(which I didnt understand either because the letter already states the market value for my specific car). I also informed him of the Kelly Bluebook value of the car from best condition to fair condition and all values were listed higher than what he was trying to offer me. He said that my car was worth a little over $6,000 which is half of its market value! When we refused and asked to speak to the manager because Errol was speaking contrary to what was in the letter, the manager Andrew Floyd came and said he could only offer that price because the mileage was 90k. The, when I highlighted the part in the letter that says And this Saturday, I can even give you an additional $5,000, 0% financing for up to 72 months and all with $0 down and explained that what he is essentially telling me is that my 2017 HYUNDAI is only worth a little over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS not including the $5k bonus, then he went back and said give me one second. It seems they love to use that phrase when they dont really know what to say. Nonetheless, he came back and offered me a little over 9k for the car and I was still unsatisfied because the letter clearly says that if I trade in my car for a new car, I will be making lower payments each month, have a new warranty, and lower maintenance costs. This experience was a complete waste of my time which is what I was trying to AVOID by calling the dealership before driving there. When we turned down the offer, we asked for the $500 that was promised if they couldnt fulfill the amount mentioned in the letter and we were given additional excuses as to why they couldnt give us the money.This type of service is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. They completed disregarded the letter that they mailed, which was signed by Patrick Monninger (General Manager) and when I asked to speak to him, I was told that he was out of the office. Ive also tried calling before making this review and each time, they would claim that he is in a meeting or unavailable. Thus, I personally would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Please see below for the letter that I received.

We had a 2pm appointment today to test drive and lease a Palisade for my wife Deanna. They even called us in the morning with a friendly reminder. We arrived here at 1.57pm. The receptionist was super friendly and directed us to the bathroom and waiting area. All the positives ended there as we waited for 40 minutes with no word from anyone. I cant even say if the service was bad or good because we didnt have any help at all. Although they were clearly fully staffed with sales people sitting around and walking past us back and forth non stop. Even when we got up and left no one questioned why we were leaving after sitting in their place of business for almost an hour. We ended up going up the road to another dealership to lease a car.

I buy and sell used cars on a weekly basis. Hyundai new Rochelle I never had a problem with anything. Unfortunately there key machine is broken and had to go to this sad dealership. So I called parts to try to get service on a car I bought from an auction and the person who I was dealing with told me they couldnt make a key with documentation from the auction and cant take my ID aswell. I have never gone through this before with no dealership except this one. You guys are terrible. Customer beware

First, I want to share that I left the Hyundai on Boston Rd in the Bronx because of their terrible customer service. I immediately came to this one bc 1, they had the car I was interested in and even better, the price was decent. The place was pretty busy when I got there however I called over the first man I saw and Im glad I did. I had the pleasure to work with Brian and he was just an amazing person. Hes not your typical salesman. He actually listened to all my needs and concerns and wasnt pushy at all. Within 10 minutes he had me in the vehicle test driving and from there it was history. I wasnt able to take my vehicle right away due to some logistics on my end however, I was in communication with Brian every single day and he was always pleasant and always responded. Please don’t go this placeIf you trying to buy a new car they gonna put premium fee about $2000 on Palisade and Santa Fe is $1200Even if you already finish the price, they gonna put premium fee $2000 (whichever you never heard before) on the contract paper.Funny thing is if you just stop all the deal with them and trying to leave other places they gonna take off that premium fee $2000.But I just left at that place and went a Chevrolet dealer bought the car right awayThis guys only think about their own commission.Never truthfulNever explained what is exactly premium fee.And I reported to consumer protection about attempt additional charges without elucidation to consumers

Fake prices online.. Looked at two Santa fe and the price online was 21K.. Arrived at the dealer and those two exact cars were 28K.. Walked the lot for 30 min and no one of the sales showed up. I would maybe understand that the price difference was 1-2K but price difference of 7K is ridiculous. I guess that is your typical dealer..
