Terrible experience. Order a door and door knobs. Door came damage, door knobs were not what Ive ordered. Door knobs were replaced but with the door I had a lot of problems. They were always postponing the delivery date, making false promises saying they would call me to give me a response. After over a month, when the door finally arrived, it wasnt the door I ordered!!! I had to wait (and keep calling) even more 2-3 weeks to finally have the right door with me. I do not recommend this store.

I had an issue with my old door lock. John was very kind in resolving this issue with the manufacturer, and they sent us a replacement cylinder and keys. The personnel at the store are knowledgeable and helpful.

Unfortunately I cant leave a minus star for this company. I went to Windowrama in Hartsdale and ordered new windows and patio doors for my townhouse. I had Windowrama install them so that there would be no conflict if there was any problems with the installation. Silly me, I thought that Windowrama would be doing the installation. It turns out that they no longer install but they subcontract the installation. The contractor that did my installation was incompetent. After the first rain, I found water in the tracks of both sets of patio doors. A technician was sent out and told me that the doors were installed incorrectly. He adjusted the doors. At the next rain, one of the doors still had water in the tracks. A technician came out again and finally fixed the problem. My windows and patio doors were installed 10 months ago. Two weeks ago, the cover of the latch that opens the window snapped off. I went to the store to see if they had a replacement. Of course they did not. They wrote up a report and told me that service would get in touch with me. Three phone calls and two weeks later I finally got a call from the service department. I was told they would check with Andersen to see if they had the part available. They asked if I wanted to install the part once it arrived. I told them no and I was informed that it would take 1 month from the time they received the part for a technician to install it!! Avoid this place.

We worked with WindowRama 14 years ago when building our home. when it was time for some window upgrades at our parents properties - we thought of WindowRama in Hartsdale. Looking for the salesmen we had 14 years ago - we were lucky to get Paul Bueti and what a great experience. Not only did we buy windows - we bought doors and locks. Paul is knowledgeable, honest and patient. Talk about customer service. He went above and beyond - when we had a problem on site. I was able to get him directly through his cell phone and he addressed any and all questions. The experience we had with Paul brought us back to WindowRama several times. We trust Paul and his judgement. Truly a great experience working with him! thanks Paul!!

My wife and I were replacing 25 windows in our house and wanted to ensure that we were getting the right product. We spoke with several dealers and contractors along the way. We found most just wanted to “make the sale” and they did not want to answer our questions to ensure that we got what was best for us. Paul really took the time to show us options and let us know the pros and cons of each choice. He was a pleasure to work with and we will go back to Windowrama when it is time to replace some of our doors.

I must commend them for listening to and for solving my problem. I had purchased a replacement window in November for my house. I was not able to get to the project until March, at which point I realized the full screen I had paid for was missing. After a few phone calls to the store, recognizing they had to take my word for the fact that it was not included with the window, they ordered a replacement screen for me, at no charge.Although I was not pleased that the screen was left out, mistakes happen. I was pleased with their handling of it. I had bought from them before and will in the future.

I found WindowRama to be very knowledgable and helpful. I had a small order (one speciality window) which was a hassle but they took the time.to get it right. Great local source for Andersen and other brands.

There are few people in the industry as knowledgeable and friendly as Paul. He knows the ins and outs of windows, and construction as a whole. Happy to help any and everyone who walks in, educate them and make the experience as educational and pain free as possible.

There is nobody that knows more about windows and doors than Paul Bueti at the Hartsdale, NY, WindowRama showroom. Describe your needs, and he knows the best product. We purchased Andersen A-Series windows from Paul and are very happy with them. When we were looking to replace our front door, I showed him some photos of our old door which had some hinge and weatherstripping issues. He knew exactly how to fix those problems so that we got the most out of our door upgrade. Paul looks at the whole picture!

These guys are awesome Super knowledgeable, and if they dont know they take time out to investigate and research. We came looking for a door, and they offered and explained each option in detail, and even offer extended advice. Thank you Paul and Anthony.

Had such a great experience with this place recently. Bought windows and a sliding glass door. Dealt with Paul, very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and excellent customer service! Installation went smoothly as well. I would highly recommend!

Knowledgeable staff but dont expect a honest answer or accurate answer for shipping. If they tell you it will arrive in two weeks, expect 3. If you have the time to shop around for vinyl replacement windows, go to Lowes or HD. Better price. Vinyl replacements are not much different.

My wife and I would like to commend Lenny Jopling for the wonderful work he did with us when he came to replace some window sashes. Despite some problems with the order, he was very friendly and cooperative in dealing with the problems and showed us how to best maintain our windows.

I went to the store on June 23 to purchase a window with Paul and He told me the window will arrive on July 20. I accept to wait for the window. On July 20 I got a phone call that my order has arrived. I went to pick up the window, this Laiddy give me a glass window without frame. When I ask her what’s that she replied call Paul tomorrow. I waited for a month to get a window and Paul mess up the order. I came back on Monday to see Paul. His response was I could order the window again. No no I said, I want my money back and I made a mistake paying cash. Up till now I still can get my money back. Every time I go to the store to demand my money back was told they mail my check give it couple days. And now they said we mail it and it’s came back for wrong address, I work at the post office and every one knows me. Please send me my money. And stop making excuses.

I didnt have the greatest experience with the Windowrama company.Everyone I spoke with was polite and professional, however where they fall incredible short is communication. We had to wait longer than expected due to the fact that one of the two windows we ordered were broken. I dont know if it arrived broken or was accidentally broken at their location. Regardless, after a delay in hearing from Windowrama, I called for a follow up and was explained the situation. I understand that things happen and you can only control so much. My concern was that had I not called them, who knows how long it would have taken. For the most part, 80-90% of the communication was me calling them for updates. That is unacceptable to me.The price was good/fair, the installation went well, and after all the delays Im happy with the final product. But customer service really needs improvement. You can be the best at what you do, but with poor customer service even the greatest company will continue to fall short.

I visited the store on a Saturday and Im the only customer there. I tell the guy the exact door and dimensions I want and I ignore that he looks completely inconvenienced by the fact that Im there. I wait 5 minutes as he attempts to pull a quote after which he claims the computer went down and hell email me the quote. Fast forward 4 days and zero followup, no quote. You wonder why everyone is buying online and then you experience instances like this and understand why. I do not know how this place is still in business.

Went here to get replacement window cranks. The guys that work there are nice, but they dont carry much in store so you have to order it which was annoying. Im almost certain you can get these items for less at a big store like Lowes or Home Depot, but I went here because I didnt know that at the time, and wanted some expert advice - which they have plenty of! Go for the expert advice, and if you dont mind waiting its mostly free to ship to store.

FIRST CAME TO HARTSDALE STORE IN MID -JUNE FOR A NEW FIBERGLASS FRONT DOOR. JOHN GAVE QUOTE ON 7/3/19 FOR FULL LIGHT DOOR. I WANTED 1/2 LIGHT. JOHN SAID NOT AVAILABLE. RETURNED TO STORE TWICE AND DISCOVERED THEY DO HAVE 1/2 LIGHT DOOR IN MY SIZE. REQUESTED NEW QUOTE. 8/8/19 STILL NO QUOTE. BELIEVE THAT WINDORAMA IS NOT INTERESTED IN SELLING A FRONT DOOR, ONLY WANT FULL HOUSE WINDOW AND DOOR REPLACMENTS. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HARTSDALE. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!

Poor customer service. They would not admit they made a mistake ordering my windows. Worse they didnt even attempt to fix the issue. I would never recommend a friend to this place. You spend that much more on windows the least they can do is get it right or admit they messed up.

Think the service is terrible. We ordered front doors. They came in wrong and little was done to address our problems. Items were missing and was told it was delivered but our contractor did not receive the items.We also ordered closet doors. Were told they were solid doors but turned out to be cheap hollow core doors.Very disappointed that the store is not service oriented.

Before we moved into our new house the previous owners broke a very expensive pain of glass in one of the casement windows. They bought a new pain of glass from windowrama before we moved in and offered to have it installed for us. That sounds great, but there is not one contractor, business, or glazier that will install the pain in the sash (because it has an aluminum border). They all said it was more expensive to repair the window than replace it. It begs the questions, why would you sell someone a product you knew couldnt be installed? And if they thought it could be installed, why didnt they know (as window experts) that no one would do the job? As a side note, because we didnt buy the pain from them, they wont let is return it.

Fair, honest and didnt beat around the bush. Product came in, fit, and looked great.

This place is a disgrace. We ordered 80 inch doors and received 79 inch doors instead. We tried to return them and stopped in 2x and the person who sold them to us was on Paternity leave so they couldnt help us...HUH? I think it was Paul btw. We called headquarters 3x and no one responded. So we had to file a credit card reversal because Windowrama WOULD NOT RESPOND. They lied to the credit card company and said we signed off for the 79 inch doors, which we did not- our receipt says 80 inch doors. They do not accept returns or refunds, but what happens when the doors are the WRONG doors?! Nothing was made right and there is not an ounce of care for when the wrong product was delivered.DO NOT GO HERE!

Its hard sometimes to read a review about yourself that states anything negative. I am the store manager. I take every situation good or bad and try to make all parties happy. In the end policies and rules along with integrity and class all come into play. Some people think no matter what goes wrong they will be able to blame the vendor. Everything does not always go as planned on all sides. I care deeply about what I chose to do as a lively hood. I help and inform all customers about there product issues and options. I take the time to explain the details . I take the time to help them understand the ins and outs of there orders. I DO NOT sit herePrying on the week. Misleading the homeowner. I do not try to pull a fast one.I am direct, friendly, honest and a family man.I can take criticism when its constructive.I hope people reading this can see the difference between a spitfelt response about a situation and what I am really trying to acheive.
