I love this store, it has changed so much

Super crowded with products and shelves with items just thrown into heaping piles. Then you see 2 aisles almost completely empty?? Competent Management seems to be lacking in this store. Unless this mess comes from higher up the ladder?

That Harvard Dollar General is horrible. The bathroom was so filthy that I made my toddler wait to go. It always looks like a bomb has gone off. I only go in there if I have no other choice. The Wonder Lake Dollar General is very nice, clean and organized.

Great place to find kitchen essentials and surprisingly the clover valley k cups are delicious! Staff are helpful and friendly

Employees need to be mindful when customers are in store. I was in the Harvard store today and they had 3 people working, well technically 1 person was was the other 2 stayed in room behind the registers while the 1 guy rang everyone up. You had 2 lines of people standing there, going down 2 different isles. I also know the people in the room seen us standing there and they did nothing to help. So I just walked out and left my stuff there. Kudos to the guy that had to help all of those customers.

Just thought you should know that my experience at the Harvard Dollar General store was beyond pleasant, the lady Jean I think her name was, she was so helpful extremely polite and professionally courteous. Ill tell you, she is an asset to your organization, actually cant wait to go back to that Dollar General, maybe shes single.

I dont get there often but I like their seasonal items and sometimes clothes. Wish I had a closer store. Its good for quick trips to the store.

I would have given 5 stars however Im not impressed that they closed 10 minutes early when I needed 2 quick things for a late dinner I was making. I live super close so its usually convenient and a good experience but tonight not so much...

Best Dollar General I have ever been in bar none!!!! Cleanest also has the nicest manger ever... Jeanie was her name and this store in Harvard Illinois is awesome!!!

They close at 9pm now otherwise theyre usually very great.

I will not go back again. Awful music blaring with foul language. Smelled like cigarretes and body odor in a couple of aisles. Junk laying all over. Nobody at the counter to check me out. Just wanted to get out of there. Not my kind of place. Too bad. We teachers usually spend a lot of money at dollar stores. Not this one.

Living on the northside of town, its nice seeing businesses opening up in this area. Dollar General offers a good variety of choices for shoppers, especially those that rely on their own two feet for transportation. (In the winter the city of Harvard allows the sidewalks on both sides of the central bridge to become a dumping ground for snow, ice and gravel making it impossible for pedestrian access to businesses on the south side of town.) I hope to see more growth on the northside of town. (Heres a question for the City of Harvard... with the total number of new businesses opening over the past 10 years and the local city tax dollars generated, wheres the break in residential taxes? Maybe its time to dig a little deeper in our communitys budget to find the answers?) Thank you to the city of Harvard and Dollar General for providing practical services located on the northside of town. A gentlemans handshake.
