Strong coffee with a wide variety of customization options! Not to mention, the coffee tastes amazing–sweet without feeling like you’re drinking straight syrup! Lemon Poppyseed muffin the size of your face, well worth the $2.50! The employees were polite, quick, and sociable. The environment gave a very home-y vibe despite never having been here before. Would go again :)

The absolute best coffee and tea McHenry county offers.The staff is always ready to make your order the way you want it. This is also the only venue in Harvard IL, that has constant events for music and art. Its right by the train station. The owner is really cute. What more do you want from a place to visit in a small town?

If I empty my coffee pot and still need a little more, or I’m downtown, this is the perfect spot for good coffee, and good food, at a great price. The people that work here are always very nice and helpful. I have had some petty strange coffee orders and they make them up perfect each time. When they first opened I was skeptically hopeful that Harvard was going to have an alternative to the usual coffee available around town. My first visit was very positive. By my third I knew our little town had a coffee shop for lovers of coffee and coffee drinks. I can always find parking within a few doors of the Firehouse.

People were friendly and my Mexican hot chocolate was fantastic! Temps are high, so ask for them to add ice if you have a tender mouth like me.

Very cute coffee/tea house! Lots of options. I had a delicious peppermint tea and the barista warned me it would be very hot, and offered to throw some ice cubes in. I thought that was very thoughtful. I also had a chocolate muffin, it was very rich. I’d come again!

This is a perfect spot for coffee or tea. Havent tried any baked goods. Lovely spot to do some work or just kill time.

My girlfriend and I decided to stop into a small town coffee joint on our way to Geneva and Firehouse was an awesome experience. Service was quick, Connor was a pleasure the whole time. She really made us feel welcome! Highly recommend!

I ordered Autumn Harvest latte. It is pretty good at the balance of sweetness and spices. It is really a cozy place to wait for train.

Had to try it while I was in town. I enjoyed my coffee and the service was great. If you want a good locally owned non franchise cup of coffee stop in. The vibe inside is warm and cozy.

Very nice staff, talkative and actually feels like they want to know how your day was. A very small town and homey feel to the place. Offer a wide variety of coffee flavors alcoholic included. To top it all off the cafe has a piano in it for anybody to fiddle with and have fun playing

Got in to town early for a wedding and wandered in to Firehouse Depot. The mocha was awesome, and the owners are very friendly! (When I was here, they were doing a thousand piece puzzle with some costumers and hanging some cool art.) Not sure when I will be back in Harvard, but if I am, I will definitely stop again. :)

My boyfriend and I are from Antioch, IL and decided to take a drive today to see if we could find any new shops when we stumbled across Firehouse Depot. The coffee is absolutely amazing and so is the atmosphere. We would 100% recommend it and are already planning on coming again next weekend.

Great little family-owned/operated coffee shop within sight and walking distance of the Metra station. Clean and inviting atmosphere. It had a nice selection of tea and coffee to choose. Give this place a try, Im pretty sure you wont be disappointed.

Come here for the best coffee youve never had. Great, chill place, decorated neatly and with character. Cool, quiet place to come hang or do homework or other activities you can drink coffee to. I wish there were more snacks to purchase here, but for now, the coffee is just amazing and the whole kitchen setup is impressive to look at as your coffee is being poured. Go ahead and speak to the owner about coffee or other things on your mind. Go ahead and play board games or puzzles about coffee. Take a nap and dream about coffee. Go to one of the two bathrooms and dump your coffee because it wasnt what you wanted and want to get another one instead. Go ahead and buy stocks while you sip your coffee and much on your muffin or smiley cookie.Come to the Coffehouse Coffepot before you need to coffee your Metra train to Lattecago.Oh and they serve iced.
