Overall great experience. Brian Carter helped my family and I. From the moment he greeted up when we walked in until the moment we drove off the lot was excellent. We had two of our kids with us and he interacted with the oldest we had with us. And even made sure to get a picture of us with our new car. 1000% would recommend getting a car from here and ask for Brian he will take care of you!
The staff was nice and helpful but I was very disappointed at how dirty the inside of my car was when I bought it. I was told they would detail it the next day (bought it at close of business). I pull up and they are spot cleaning it. The detail team did not touch my car the entire day! I have crayon marks and spots on the seats still! Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the car I bought that was supposed to be sanitized and detailed! I even have the previous owners personal info in the glove compartment!!

I have to say this has been the best service experience at Toyota. I usually go to Lakeside but not anymore. I was told in full detail about my Camry of what was wrong with it. I must have asked Jennifer a 1000 questions and she happily answered all. I’ve always worried about if I was being taken advantage of. I highly recommend Jennifer if you are like me and do not understand the lingo. She also helped me out with pricing. I’ll definitely be back!!!

Standard 10,000 mile check up. Took 1 1/2 hours, not to bad seeing that there a lot of cars, but no customers buying new cars, heck they only had one tundra in the show room and only one sales rep.

After 3 days of trying to reach ANYONE in the management department, I feel compelled to leave this 1 star review. I had better hopes for this dealership and am honestly shocked and very disappointed.I traded in a used vehicle on Thursday and they offered me significantly less for my trade than the other Toyota dealership and Carmax which I had visited the day before.The salesman was pushy and in the end I got stuck with paying a higher monthly note than I was hoping for…Nothing was very clear as the whole process seemed very rushed. The finance manager was unfriendly too, did a poor job of explaining things and at best, was just doing his job.Surprisingly, the newer vehicle I purchased had some obvious mechanical issues that I noticed immediately upon arriving home the same afternoon. I contacted my salesman and was told to bring the truck in the next day and although I explained the issues, they changed the battery and missed the starting problem all together and the truck is still not starting properly!I have emailed the service manager and the general manager of the dealership both separately and 48 hours later still haven’t received even a phone call or a response from either of them! This morning (Tuesday) I also called and left a message for the sales manager who also didn’t answer and has not returned a phone call either!As it stands now, my new truck has been at the Toyota dealership in Hammond for 2 days in hopes they can resolve the starting issue and hopefully adhere to a higher level of customer service which shouldn’t be hard to beat the pathetic level of customer care I received from Bohn Toyota in HarveyBuyer beware!!

Bohn Toyota professionalism is beyond compare. The Service advisor name Mr M Templeton is excellent in handling my 2018 4Runner from the time he initiated the work order and constant updated me the status. He fully coordinated with defendable mechanic who replaced the shifter lower plastic cover then clean and Service the throttle body for possible contamination of drinks that make it sticky when shifting gear. Also technician findings of nails in my two tires. In addition performs the Multi point inspection in informed me the end results. Im impressed with the overall results of my visit to Bohn Toyota located in Lapalco Harvey Louisiana.
The staff is friendly and does what they can but they are set up for failure from the beginning. Toyotas reservation system grossly overbooks the location so wait times are extremely long. There are noticable inefficiencies in their process starting with the overbooking, but include things like moving the vehicles to a back lot from the entrance. This wastes the technicians time walking and driving back and forth. If the weather is good enough they could just have people park back there in the first place to check them in and turn over keys. I was quoted being out in 1-1.5 hours but that was the length it took to even start working on my vehicle. It took an extra 48 minutes once they actually started performing the service. This would have been a reasonable if that was the whole process but seems somewhat lengthy for a tire rotation and balance when I have the balance performed regularly. Reservations are in name only and are more like taking a ticket at a deli counter. It is disappointing for a company that touts Kaizen as a major part of how they do business. I will be avoiding them for any maintenance in the future, the extra half hour to drive to another Toyota will probably still be a shorter wait then trying to get service here.
This was the best experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I would choose Bohn Toyota over Toyota of New Orleans any day! Nina was my service rep and was amazing in every way from being kind and informative to being efficient in her job!
I was visiting my daughter who lives in New Orleans and we were driving her car back home to Delaware. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to get a service appointment scheduled for the next day. From the young lady on the phone that helped me schedule to my service advisor Marin Templeton we couldn’t have been treated better. Marin was so polite, professional and took very good care of us.I’m always treated well at our dealership back home and was so happy to receive the same excellent service.

I just came back from Hurricane either a week ago I took my car out there in Jackson Mississippi where I was they told me I needed all different things that I didnt even New Orleans but Ill make sure the oil change is good she said you dont need any oil change at all looks great when I say then they they my service light came on to change the oil promise you thats why people are not our friends they just want to make money which everyone, there has to be Humanity along with that so I cant give you them a bad review plus I hope you all know the Toyota have a five minute oil change right in the back thats why I avoid going through places they ruin your car I would not go back to the Toyota on the Westbank at all although song do a great job I avoid the 5 Minute Oil changes for a reason

Made an appointment for an 8 am oil change but they told me it wouldn’t be ready until maybe 1pm. However, they didn’t even open until 9am. If it’s a service department, shouldn’t they let the customers know that? I even got an automated text confirming my appointment time.Why make an appointment? Why not just be up front and say all customers need to drop off their vehicles because we really don’t even know how long it will take to do an oil change.The service assistants even agreed with me thatThis is not he first time I’ve had issues with Bohn Toyota service and their inability to communicate properly.I’ll be looking for another Toyota dealership for my subsequent services and vehicle purchases.

Big scammers! Went to fix a safety system issue (blinde spot monitor, pre collision alert, lane departure alert ). I know it’s not a big issue and thought I’ll be done within a hour or 2 as this is not the first time it happened. They then tried to create a bigger problem out of nothing by saying the sensors aren’t working properly due to the paint covering it. I explained that the only paint job I’ve ever gotten was 2 years ago and it was through them so if that’s the case, they’re reliable to fix it. Instead, their solution was to change all the sensors and mirrors in my car which didn’t make any sense at all. At this point, it was obvious that they’re trying to make a pretty penny out of my extended warranty which I paid 3K for. The more problems they create, the more the warrantee company will pay. They could easily fix it but their goal is more than couple of hundreds. They were aiming for couple or grands and when my warrantee company denied all that, they said I need to pay a $175 for a “diagnostic fee” and of course I refused to pay it because I knew what the issue was. If they don’t get big banks, they will at least try to charge you that. I left the dealership with all my safety features turned off. Unfortunately, customer safety is their last concern. Long story short, do not deal with this trashy location or buy the extended warranty.

Came on for an oil change and it was time for my 10k Mile service so I ended up not only getting oil change but tire rotation and more... at NO CHARGE! My advisor was great and very accommodating. The waiting lounge was clean and spaced out and I made use of the coffee and Wi-Fi. I wish more places were like this!
I came in for service on tundra yesterday with Nina and it was five stars. I was disturbed by the way a customer approached one of your other advisors, I believe her name was Jennifer. The lady was very rude to her. I wouldn’t have kept my calm like Jennifer did. She handled it very professional. I even heard how she was talking to the man that was trying to see what the problem was and try to diffuse the situation. (She threw the race card). I have been a long time customer and will continue to be. It’s a shame the employees have to deal with people like that. They need a raise!!

As with any dealership, they are there to sell you a vehicle at a benefit to themselves. I came in with my research already done, and Kevin, my car salesman, was very low pressure and kept the experience very welcoming. After running back and forth with the finance manager and sales manager for about 4 hours, we finally struck a deal. Kevin and the entire team were very professional, accommodating, and patient throughout the entire negotiation process. I love my new vehicle! I’d recommend anyone looking for a Toyota to come through Bohn. Extremely laid back with no pressure, they will even let you go for a real test drive instead of a quick quarter mile trip.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with my car. I received a notice in the mail from Toyota saying my car was eligible to be repainted because there is a factory defect and the paint is chipping off. I called Bohn Bros to see if they could repaint the car and they said yes. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the operator while she took my vin number and other relevant information to schedule the appointment, which she did. I was told the repairs could take over a week, so I scheduled a time to drop off my car the morning before I left to fly out of town to not be without a car or have to deal with a rental. The days prior to the appointment, I received text reminders and emails telling me not to forget my appointment to fix the paint job on my car. The morning of the appointment, I drive 35 minutes at 7am to get to the dealership. I also have a friend follow me the whole way there to pick me up from the dealership after I drop off my car. When I pull up and check in, I am told they no longer fix the paint jobs on the cars even though I talked to someone from the dealership, scheduled the appointment prior, and received multiple reminders. I was offered no solution or attempts to rectify the situation. After this all happened I tried to call the dealership and talk to anyone about the ordeal, but gave up after being on hold for 20 minutes. Bohn Bros is extremely unhelpful, unprofessional, and caused a huge hassle with no interest in fixing the situation.
I would have given 5 stars but they left the caps off of the thing that you put air in your tire. This is the second time this has happened. I even reminded the customer service person to make sure they put them back on because they were left off from the last visit. Overall the service is fine.

There was a much shorter wait for service here compared to the Toyota dealership by the Lake! Comfy chairs in the waiting room, complimentary keurig coffee and filtered water, vending machines, and a TV tuned to HGTV...all good! Mike was super helpful. They use a text app to update you and suggest additional optional services if needed, with info and prices. No hidden costs. I still found the $300 cost of a system recalibration to reset my air bag sensor to be a bit pricey, but I also have sticker shock for just about everything nowadays.
My vehicle was running well first day out of the shop now second and third day My vehicle doesn’t start as Smooth and quickly as I expected after repairs to and replacement of Fuel Injectors.
Online shopping, found something that interested me and left an email notification, someone reached out to my later that day and without being pushy peaked my interest. I drove 3 hours to test drive, had some questions and concerns addressed, got a small break on the price (it was priced lower than 3 other models I looked at to begin with), I was happy, I bought it. Ro was really good to work with, finance guy also, not too much of a wait to complete the deal, I’m happy.
I came in for a walk in oil change as part of my ToyotaCare. They said it could be a while I was out of there within the hour. I’ve been to other Toyota service departments that have had me waiting for hours and that was with an appointment. So glad Bohns Bros knows what true customer service is and so sad I don’t live near this one. Service Advisor Victor M. was professional and honest and helpful!

I have been looking for a Rav4 seems like forever. I looked on many of website, Car Gurus was my favorite. I finally came across a white 2018 Rav4 with low mileage at an amazing price. So Car Gurus connected me to Mr. Forrest Jelks. Mr. Forrest was amazing from the very start. I asked for pictures of the inside and out of the Rav4 and with in minutes I received them. I also asked Mr. Forrest a million questions and he answered every one with much respect. So I drove down to the dealership the next morning 1hr and 27min away. As soon as I walked in he introduced himself and said I’ll have you driving out of here today with the Rav4 if you like it. My credit score is average and he was able to get me a good APR% Mr. Forrest got me what I wanted and I will be seeing him the future. Thank you Mr. Forrest you are amazing.

I went to Bohn Toyota on Lapalco to get a oil change. When he brought me the invoice I paid when I left. I realized I paid for tire rotation not oil change. Never ask him to rotate my tires. This is a big disappointment and a get over approach with your customers. Who keep your employees with jobs during this time.

I want to make sure everyone knows not to give Bohn Toyota on 3800 Lapalco Blvd, Harvey, LA 70058 your business as they do not honor Toyota warranties unless they can find a part to replace. I brought my car in on 2-19-2021 because my window wasn’t rolling up properly. It was getting stuck and wouldn’t go up fully. The technician said it wasn’t covered under my warranty because it came off the track and it was “user error” (mind you it’s only 2 years old with 30,000 miles on it). How is rolling it up and down user error? I had to pay $140 because I couldn’t keep arguing with them and needed it fixed before it rained again. My 8 week old son has been in and out of the hospital and I had no choice but to pay so I can get him to his doctor appointments and so my car didnt get rained in. The general manager proceeded to tell me, “if you would have purchased the car from my dealership or got it serviced here more than twice I would have ate the cost”. This is complete BS because it shouldn’t matter what Toyota I bought the car from, nor should it matter where I get it serviced, because it’s UNDER WARRANTY STILL. However, they did do me the favor of giving me 20% off of something that I shouldn’t have paid a penny for. After this I will never purchase a vehicle or have my vehicle serviced at this dealership again. They also scratched the window tint on my car. I spoke with the service manager of another dealership and he said that he would never handle a similar situation in this way. Corporate will be contacted on this issue.

Waited from 9:45-12:00 for oil change air filter replacement and battery service. Things I could’ve gotten from an express oil change much quicker and less $$$$. Plus I have to return later because they couldn’t finish the job. They have to order the part. So more waiting in store for me...No time frame was given upon arrival . If they were busy they could’ve told me and given me the option to reschedule. For my trouble they took $20 off the $248 bill. This is why people stay away from the dealership for service. Too bad.

We are from 2 hours away, but we saw the vehicle we wanted online and it was about 3,000 less than comparable cars where we are from. He held the car for us and when we got there everything was as he told us it would be. I would buy from again, and make the 2 hour drive for the prices.

Bought a car and the windshield has a wave in it and they will not cover it! It is a previously owned car but they sold it to me with the wave! I will NOT recommend them!

It was the worst experience I ever had. The sale person we was with was ok but when I went to the back the guy in finance name Godfrey is horrible. If you dont know about cars be careful because he will lie and scam you and he lies about payments, finance companies and literally everything just to get you to buy a car. He literally said he have a add a extra 500 dollars to the price and also that the state of Louisiana and our insurance doesnt recommend Gap insurance smh....but when i question him told him it was false he lied and said the finance company just texted him and told him its ok dont add it and it was his mistake about the gap insurance....be careful of him if you chose to go there and buy a car I literally walked away until someone else came told us he was fixing everything and dropping the price thats the only reason I went back and brought car but I will never go back there.

On Saturday May 1st I had a scheduled appointment for 7:00 am. While sitting patiently in line I was signaled to pull in behind the car in front of me by the technician. Followed by the comment come on, come on, come on. At this point I felt as if I was being rushed. I was trying the give the other car a chance to pull up. The reason for coming to Toyota was to have my oil change and the technician that took care of me was not very professional. Upon the completion of my oil change Ms.Temple came to me and explained some other findings and the cost. She wanted to know if I wanted to have the work done. I said to her that I would take my car back to Lexus. Right afterwards she said umm and the customer sitting beside me in the waiting room said that wasnt nice. Id like to say that I not will return to Toyota for any type of service or maintenance. Lexus is always more welcoming...Id like to say that I will not return to Toyota for any maintenance or service.
We took our Prius in for service and the service representative was very friendly, but when my wife drove off, she noticed that the service light was still on so she drove back. They said that she had to drive a mile before it would go off, which she informed them she already had, so they took it back and said it would now go off, but she drove it home - about 15 miles, and the service light is still not off.
I have purchased 6 Toyota from Bohn Bros. The first 5 from Mr. King Sly who is now retired. The atmosphere is cordial, respectful and customer friendly. I would recommend family and friends to Bohn.

I was in the market for a new Rav4 (not easy to come by at this time!) and the team at Bohn Toyota made this possible! I traveled over an hour and a half away to work with this amazing team, which consisted of Ro Delacruz, Renee Wood and Patti the sales manager. When I reached out to Ro about a vehicle, he did not hesitate to help me with this endeavor.He could have easily said we dont have what you are looking for, good luck, like another dealership had done. These three people went above and beyond my experiences and expectations for purchasing my car. Ive never had anyone sit in the car with me to explain the features and setup of a vehicle before. This was a nice touch! I would absolutely work with them again. Thank you for your true southern hospitality, care and concern through the whole process, even before I arrived to after I got home. :)
Ro was awesome, everyone at the dealership was kind and very informative. There was no dancing around trying to upsell, they worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted for the best price possible.
