I’ve just purchased a Blackstar foot pedal on behalf of my daughters who are buying it for me as a fathers Day gift. I wanted to find the best price on line as they were financing it. I couldn’t believe how much cheaper B&T music were in comparison to other on line companies. To top that, the delivery was super quick. Arrived in time for Fathers Day too, so everyone is happy. Will definitely buy from again.

Great local music shop. I first got a guitar from here when I was 12 and have shopped here ever since. The size is deceiving. Inside is a wide selection of instruments over two levels with every inch of the shop used. Prices are comparable with some of the UK’s larger music store. I’ve always felt very welcomed and the staff have lots of knowledge. I’ve taken my guitars there for pro setups over the years and never been disappointed.

Really happy with the service from these guys. Did and online order and when it arrived there was some damage to the bridge. After a quick call they kindly sent me a new bridge to install rather than sending the instrument back. Very happy and good knowledge and advice. Highly recommend this company!

I went in to buy a ukulele but didnt know the first thing about them. The man in the shop was very helpful, showing me the different types and suggesting what was best for my budget. I ended up buying an electric tuner as well which he kindly showed me how to use. All in all excellent service.

Absolute top notch service. Tried out a pedal under Covid precautions which meant hearing the pedal played via a desired guitar with the shop staff maintaining complete hands-on. Shop staff Followed all my instructions so I could hear the pedal, with him tweeking and playing through all the settings I needed to hear, following my instructions to a T.Excellent service as always.

B&T have been going for decades. In the 1970s, I used to get recorders for school (the squeaky kind not the tape kind), 80s and 90s for keyboards and now into the present decade and they came up with all the mics, mixing desk and cables and wires to help build a studio so that I can do live on-line streaming for some famous radio stations! Highly recommended!

Had a courtesy call within 24 hrs to tell me the order is ready and was actually dropped off by the person in the store to outside my house.Prices are good, the staff are knowledgable and good to put business the way of a local independent stores. Since I was very young, whether I needed guitars, amps, pedals, strings or any other equipment, or needed anything fixed for that matter, B&T always had my back.Although I am a lazy musician who rarely replaces his strings and rarely upgrades his equipment, whenever I did need to do any of the above, I would and still do, go to B&T.Not only do they have a great selection of instruments. amplifiers and all kinds of equipment but the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. In previous transactions they slashed off prices for me or threw in a gig bag for free. They were honest and told me all the details about the items I was buying, made sure I knew all the ins and outs, and just showed a passion for the work they are in, which is always a bonus.Other times if I showed interest in an item or instrument that they didnt have, they would try to order one in. The staff seem to genuinely care and want to please their customers, and it really pays off.B&T Music has a great atmosphere, great staff and great selection and is a pleasant place to shop for these reasons. It is by far, the best music shop around. I dont know if there are any other music shops around the area. But quite frankly I would not care if there were because B&T is always going to be my first stop.

B&T Music the only place to go if you need anything related to your particular musical persuasion for a number of reasons. Firstly the range of instrument,s from a Fender to a plectrum is truly awesome with a full range of instruments to meet just about all needs, There is also an extensive range of sheet music, and all the ancillary equipment you could possibly need. But far more important is the overall experience of the shop which the team who work there bring to you as the customer all top quality musicians them selves so they know what they are talking about when it comes to advice. We have been using B & T music ever since my son started playing Electric Guitar through the Music School in Western Road, it is the first place we go to with any musical issues, guitar strings being changed, new leads and today we purchased a performance amp. The sales man spent time showing Benjamin how to use the amp and finding the relevant leads. Benjamin was spoken to as a fellow musician, which considering he is 12 was refreshing to hear. B & T is a shop that we recommend and always go to first, First class service and a wealth of knowledge.

I believe every child should have the chance to learn how to play a musical instrument.At 12 years old my son said he would like to learn how to play the guitar. Great shop where the customer service is second to none. What i love about B&T is your not followed like a hawk. You dont feel pressured into buying anything and no question is to big or to small. Its also spacious which is not common for local music shops. So if you want to look at something your not fighting your way through 6 other items or struggleing to stand somewhere next to the other customers.

B and T music is an amazing shopping experience. Ive been many times to try out guitars and buy strings and just generally seek the expert advice of the store employes. Each time ive been I have been greeted by friendly staff willing to help me and give me advice even to the extent of recommending places to buy their displayed goods cheaper. Its clear that the staff care about you and not just your money. The store also has a really nice relaxed atmosphere with members of the staff often showing off their playing abilities, which i love! For me It invokes a sense of confidence that the people helping me not only have a clear and knowledgeable skill set but also enjoy what theyre doing.I would highly recommend this shop!

Its a great place for an avid musician to go, be it drummer, guitarist or even mandolinist, they have a hugely wide range of products for any musician in such a small shop. Me, personally, love to go there to drool over the beautiful guitars and amps they have there and dream of owning an Ibanez and Esp. The people there are kind and very helpful in the shop and have aided me many a time with my guitar. All round, it is a great shop to just spend time and and be around fellow musicians. If it didnt exist my life would be very different Im sure.

Always my first stop for musical bits. Both Nick & Roger (being excellent musicians themselves) are always happy to advise on issues and regularly go beyond the call of duty to provide that little bit of customer service that makes me want to go back every time.

Everyone is helpful and really knows what they are talking about so I feel confident about any advise given. It is so nice to meet staff who are genuinely enthusiastic about music and supporting other musicians.

Good little music shop with a reasonable range of mid priced gear although some more prestigious brands are on sale here including some boutique valve amp marques from local makers. Good string selection (Elixirs included!)and they also set up instruments for optimum playability. Atmosphere is chilled and unhurried and if they cant help you,(i.e.: with pro audio repairs) theyll direct you to someone who can. No buts, its got to be B & T- long may they prosper.

Ive been into B&T music many times for many different things and it has always been a friendly and often educational experience. From buying guitar string and plectrums, to have setups and repairs. I buy a lot of guitars in there too, i check in every few weeks to see their deals, i picked up a mint condition Ibanez sas36fm for £150! and a Schechter Hellraiser avenger, loaded with EMG 81+85 for £250. I never feel under pressure to buy, and when i want to try something out they plug me into an amp and leave me to it for as long as i need.. In short, very cheap, very friendly, very helpful and the job always gets done.
