I’ve been visiting marble slab since I was young, and it’s always been so good. Sadly… the past two years, every time I go, the ice cream is watery. It melted immediately. Bring back the delicious hard ice cream. Don’t know if the cooler needs to be fixed or what. I miss the fresh consistency of marble slab. PLEASE FIX BEFORE TOO LATE. Peace and love

Very nice place, and extremely nice people. Excellent ice cream. Had a chocolate shake, much better than a fast food place or Baskin Robbins. My mom had some white chocolate ice cream, also excellent. The slab where they mix in the toppings is cool too.

Store was closed when we went around noon. No signs were posted anywhere about being gone for lunch, closed for covid, etc. So we drove across town for nothing. Baskin Robins was good though. Just saying, leave a sign.

Horrible experience!!!! I love marble slab but after today I will not be going back ! My husband and I took our two small children he got a shake and my kids both got a kids cup of ice cream i order a quart of ice cream to take home to our big kids as well as I waffle cone with the same ice cream. The guy behind the counter gave me my quart of ice cream and then two empty waffle cones. I explained two different times that I wanted. He still didn’t understand eventually we just left with a half filled waffle cone. I understand everyone makes mistakes but after repeatedly explaining what I wanted and still leaving without it after paying for items I didn’t want. I’m very upset. Marble slab is not cheep and I’m Very unhappy

I took my daughter here not long ago for a mommy daughter date. I love this place, they are not super high priced and man is the ice cream is GOOD! The staff is so friendly and they dont get irriated when you take forever to decide what you want. (Yes I did that)Due to Covid, we couldnt eat inside, well that was just fine with us! We sat on the sidewalk eating our ice cream sharing some laughs and just having a grand ol time....seems as though others were enjoying watching us as well and wanted ice cream.....they got a lot of business while we sat and had our fun.

Every time we go there the icecream is always half-melted :(

Shakes were shocking good and filling.

There was a hair in my ice cream as I ate it right in front of the man working behind the counter and he didn’t even apologize that I almost ate a huge hair glop! He made me another one that was smaller and I still had to pay for it.

Visited for the first time, the ice cream was good my little ladies were satisfied. Me? Not so much. My strawberry shortCAKE was good but $17 later there’s no cake & a TON of syrup. Not to mention my daughters ice cream was melting before it got to her hand. Poor girl seemed not to know what she was doing & no one cared to help. Even had to remind her to ring me up because she forgot. Not the worst but def not the greatest first visit.

Best ice cream ever

Extremely gross in there. Dried ice cream all over the counters. Looks like it hasnt been cleaned in a couple months. Spiders are creating a home between the fridge and there counter. Sad to see this place go down hill. Really poor customer service as well.

My family and I were denied service because we didn’t have masks on. The guy who was working and who told me that he wouldn’t serve us without a mask wasn’t even wearing his mask correctly. It was hanging down below his nose. I tried explaining that the policy didn’t make sense since he wasn’t even in compliance but he was very upset and clearly just wanted us to leave. So, we did. We drove right down the road to Baskin Robbins wear they happily served us without masks and I thanked them for doing so.

Do you like ice cream or shakes? If yes, then you cant dislike this place without some form of bias. Its literally milk, sugar and goodness in every bite with a range of flavors and toppings. That sweet cream? Bruh...

Compared to similar style ice cream shops I was really impressed with Marble Slab! The prices were reasonable and the unlimited topping mix-ins were quite nice. The staff was helpful and handled our groups very well!

I was just in the marble slab and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in the food industry. The lady working today was the rudest employee I’ve ever met. She was screaming at my kids to pick a topping, you’re not suppose to yell at children. You could tell she didn’t care about her job. All the other customers in the store had the exact same reaction on their faces. I won’t be returning to this shop. NoRmally my experience here is great but the past two times I’ve been this lady has been the rudest. If I could rate this store a 0 I would.

Very friendly employees. They are one of the few places that make cream cheese ice cream correctly, absolutely delicious and the best!! I get cold stones the pie who loved me, cream cheese ice cream, oreos, Graham cracker, and fudge. Cant get enough!

The staff here is awesome, and the store is always clean. I love their condiment sections you can add to your ice-cream. I wish they are able to add more Yogurt options in the future.

First off I just want to say that we didnt even eat there.When we walked in the guy at the counter just stared at us. Then when we started looking at the ice cream flavors we noticed that they were all 90% melted. We left right after we saw that. I would also like the add that this guy never said anything to us the whole time we were there, and we were the only ones in the store.I loved this place as a kid, thats the only reason I gave it two stars. I just hope it isnt always like this.

The service wasnt like it used to be. Seemed very commercialized, not personalized. This franchise had lost its hometown charm, to say the least. The product was still good but sometimes not matter how good a product is, it doesnt matter if the service isnt there to back it up.

The employee that served us was very nice anaccommodating. He informed us that they were also on the delivery apps. Very helpful and cute location to sit and eat your icecream.

Last night was my first time visiting The Marble Slab !!!!! There were two employees who nicely greeted me when i walked in. Although the prices are a little high it was worth the buck ! Will be going back soon.

This place is one of the best. Its not really cheap but its definitely worth it.

For some reason when you order a cake online it doesnt actually send the order to the store. It sends it to their old manager who no longer works there. The employee gave the indication that it has been that way for a while. So I was unable to get the cake I ordered for my wifes birthday. I was forced to buy a cake from their freezer and when I asked for a discount for my inconvenience I was offered a whole $2 off. That doesnt even cover taxes in Hattiesburg. They also didnt have any small cakes so I had to buy a medium cake when I only needed it for 3 people. Finally, when I asked if they could just write happy birthday on the cake I was told the decorator was not in. So I got the wrong cake, was not offered any kind of meaningful discount, and couldnt even get it to say happy birthday.
