They are among the best, if not THE best. Wonderful staff, great prices, trustworthy, Denise runs a great company from top to bottom and takes care of the whole tag/estate sale experience. A close friend of mines neighbor used her service and was very happy with how Sisters handled his estate/move. Very highly recommended.

My Mom unfortunately had go into a nursing home and because I was long distance and working, I hired them to do a tag sale/clean out of apt. The plus side, they were efficient and got it all done in a timely manner. That was a big burden off my shoulders. They also shipped me all the old photos I wanted.I did expect a thorough accounting of the items sold. Instead I got a few lines of general sales. For example, art rather than each piece separately. My mom had alot and higher end decor, jewelry, art and more. Items were almost given away more flea mkt than tag sale, in my opinion. It was only for a few hours too. Basically the value of what sold was the same as the cost of their service.

Denise & her staff, Joy, Lena,Eddie & Brian are the most friendly & knowledgeable professionals in the ESTATE & AUCTION SALE field. I interviewed over many companies upon selecting SISTERS IN CHARGE & am so happy I chose to work with them. From the set up, merchandising,pricing, product knowledge and customer service they gave above and beyond what I could have expected. My sale was a super success & with their care & concern they made it run seamlessly. I recommend SISTERS IN CHARGE if you are looking for real pros. They will not disappoint.

This is one of the worst auction companies to deal with. Arrived at 4:30. Pickup was between 4 - 8. They were so totally unorganized. None of the items were taken apart or prepared for pickup. They were removing pictures from the walls and handing them to people that had purchased. At one point they were digging up items from the backyard for people. One gentleman was upset because they were unable to locate one of his items. We waited almost two hours on one of the hottest days of the year for our pickup. Will NEVER bid n items from them again. Terrible experience!

Have purchased a few times. Theyll get back to your inquires eventually. What REALLY frustrated me was the flat out lie they made up in order to extend their auction a few more days (presumably because their sales werent high enough). I made arrangements for the items i had full intentions of winning online for them to extend it the day it was supposed to close.When asking why - I was told that the hosting platforms servers went down on Sunday (the auction ended the following Friday) so because of one apparently missed day they thought extending the auction for another 2 days last minute some how made sense.Thats a lie - I viewed the items on Sunday as I really wanted one particular lot. I was on it everyday like a hawk making sure the price was still the price, as my alarm went off the day it ended It was all of a sudden updated and extended while THEIR PHYSICAL website itself still showed the original ending date.To make matters worse they tried to reassure me that part of the proceeds went to children with cancer. 1. Thats a tax write off, i dont buy it for a second. 2. How dare you use their pain and suffering as a method to garner more sales?I got the item I wanted anyway but for $40 more than what it should of been. That move was extremely scummy not to mention discouraging and I dont buy it for a hot minute. You might get lucky and get something for a good price but BUYER BEWARE and be WARNED other reviews arent kidding.

Yesterday was another fun day going to a sisters in charge tag sale. Denise and her staff are the best. I have attended many sales run by this group. In every instance, they were friendly, professional, helpful and always offered to carry any items I bought to my car. They wrap items carefully and answer any questions I have had. They also respect the space for the owners of the home which I think speaks to the integrity of the organization. When I moved a few years ago, I had a tag sale and wish I had used this company. I look forward to attending many more sales of theirs.

Terrible waste of time. After talking to 2 different people about whether we qualified for an estate sale or auction and taking time off to meet with an “estimator” we were ready to move forward with an appointment to have pictures taken for the online auction and I get a call that they couldn’t accommodate a sale for us because pick up day would be a problem with crowds of people. I told this company 2 months ago it was in Brooklyn. They even met us at the house in Brooklyn and now that we’re ready to move forward they call COVID concerns and can’t help us. Why didn’t they just say that 2 months ago? Very disappointed.

I cant say enough good things about Sisters In Charge and I couldnt recommend them more highly. They helped my sister and I with our Mothers home. The whole team is extremely professional. Sale was great! Staff as usual are always great! Even though we had to wait to get it which is usual for estates sales it was really worth it. The fun of estate sales is the wait and anticipation of a great find. Sisters in charge estates sales are always organized and fun.

Did not even know the product they were selling, were googling everything to figure out its worth while customers were in there. did not bargain or do any packaged deals as good and most estate sales are ran. were rude and did not represent a tag sale very well.

We used these folks to manage the sale of my mother in laws estate. Denise is exactly the right person to come in, evaluate and sell, in our case, over 50 years of accumulated treasures. She and her crew absolutely exceeded our expectations. I dont live in New York and I will never need to use her services again but I would highly recommend her to anyone who does. After the sale I would also highly recommend using the clean out service owned by her son. Robert came in did a quick assessment, quoted a price within hours and did the work with a top notch crew and finished with in our budget and on a tight time line.

We contacted them prior to selling our house to arrange a sale of our furnishings and personal effects. We sold our house with furniture, fixtures, art work and a wide array of our property and personal effects. We still had silver, china and a lifetime of other stuff.They helped us with referrals to specific companies who were able to handle everything! They are honest, reliable, extremely helpful, professional and we will always be grateful for their support.They have our highest recommendation!!!!

Denise and team members Cathy, Tommy, Lena, Bobby, and 2 others (whose name escapes me), did a SUPERLATIVE job. They were extremely organized, extremely empathetic to my situation, very professional, and just first class people, who really cared about doing their jobs. They went over and above prior to opening the estate sale to the general public, by asking me on many occasions, if various paperwork or items were something that I wanted to expose to the general public.The sale started right on time at 10:00 AM. When I arrived at 7:45 AM, there were already 4 or 5 people waiting on line to get in. In regard to the posters comment about Sisters in Charge letting priority people gain access to the sale, that is simply false. On one occasion prior to the opening, I (wearing the orange Nike shirt), led 2 people in the house ahead of all others, since we were dealing with a special, 1-off transactions regarding the automobile sale. The 2 gentleman involved had provided a prior down-payment on the car, and we were handling this special transaction ahead of the estate sale to finalize the deal. This had NOTHING to do with letting priority people in early, so the poster was obviously mis-informed.As far as the cleanliness of the house is concerned, that is on me, and not Sisters in Charge. The cleanliness leading up to the sale was my responsibility, and not theirs. Cleanliness is relative.In any event, its hard to please everyone, but since I was the paying customer (and this was my first experience with Sisters in Charge), all I can say is that I HIGHLY recommend their services. Although I was not present for the entire sale, I would have to say that most, if not all, patrons were very satisfied with how things ran.

Waited an hour in line outside just to wait another hour inside because the only things I wanted to see were in a room where they were only letting in 1 person at a time. Got inside and was blown away at the prices. Absolutely absurd. On eBay a few years back I was able to buy something they were selling only they had tripled the price I bought it for. And to top it off literally everything was dirty and in terrible condition. When I told the man who was in charge of the room, I guess he wasnt a sister, he showed me a price of the item on eBay, that was THE EXACT SAME PRICE only it was NEW on eBay. So he offered me a generous price of twice what I payed for it. I was also insulted by the staff, telling me I wouldnt buy anything of theirs to my face. Well they were right. Dont go to sisters in charge unless you want to waste gas and time.

Whenever I attend a Sisters in Charge sale I have a great experience with Denise and her team. Thank you for making it fun, fair and stress free. I always look out for any sales close to me and attend whenever I can.

I was at the same sale - No one got in before, I was #2 in line so I know.. I go to Sisters in Charge sales whenever I can. Well organized and always someone around to help/advise. Last sale I got a 2 1/2 X 4 X 1 stone slab (picture jasper) for a good price. Will mount it in wrought iron as my living room coffee table. Love when I find a one of a kind item like this!

The lady in charge is very rude. They were making up prices as they went. You can tell how rude they are by their responses here on the google reviews. Arguing with people who write reviews is just an extension of how you will be treated when you attend a sale.

SCAM !!!! Total bait and switch. They advertise that sales start at a certain time and when you get there a little early because traffic was lighter than expected, you see people coming and going in and out of the house because they opened prior to the time advertised. Why bother advertising a time schedule ? Not that it matters because...You look at the photos and items listed, get there with an interest in a particular item and it is gone. Hmmm. You list an item, open the doors early which may or may not be the reason why the item is not there. Are they putting their friends on first on “the list” ? Are these people coming out of the house with items before the doors are supposed to open also friends ? They have even said, “oh, we pulled that item from the sale”. Ok, so why did you list it ?The people who run the sales are extremely rude. This review is not based from just a single experience. The first time I went to one of the scams, oops, I mean sales, one of the people were extremely rude and disrespectful. I chalked it up to being just one of those things. When I saw that 3 Sisters (I am now thinking that with the fraudulence, there are no sisters) was running this sale I went with apprehension. After today’s experience it’s confirmed that these people are about as trustworthy as a two headed nickel and about as friendly as a hungry alligator.Save your time and your gas and stay away from anything having to do with this sham.

Purchased item at their auction went to pick up today between 11-3 in Smithtown. Arrived about 11:15 line of about 8 people outside. I asked whats happening told only one at a time allowed in. Waited almost 1 hour to get in! My husband had to sit in car just had surgery couldnt stand anymore.Finally called inside my sofa table had tons of stuff sprawled on top if it. I asked who would do this she said she did! I asked why such long wait she rudely said one person had lots of items and they had to locate each item. I have been to other auctions all items are put in groups before you get there. Hire more staff to help customers pu their items. Staff very rude like doing me a favor by letting me pu my item. Last time will purchase anything from Sisters in Charge.

Rude and nasty people. Expect to pay full retail new prices on used items. You can stay home and shop eBay or Amazon for better deals.

Prices are too high. Customers are not treated nice. Denise talks down to you. I can no longer hand someone money and be treated like Im stupid.

I went to my first Tag Sale by Sisters in Charge, I waited outside for almost 20 minutes with other people who were also very annoyed. There were people in the house before 10:00 AM, so it must be their regulars who are allowed in first, If that is the case start it at 10:30. The house had junk all over, everyone that was working were very unorganized, & very few things had prices on them. Nobody looked like they were really in Charge it looked more like CHAOS to me.

Denise in the east, Ray in the west = Simply the best!
