This place is a straight rip off. The owner Tim is a real piece of work. I heard him telling the mechanic find something wrong with my car $37 dont pay the bills Im here for my inspection so I have heard him say that I yelled in to the shopping to take my car out of there right now! They still charged me $37 for the inspection even tho they didnt complete it. What a scumb bag he gives mechanics everywhere a bad name I will never return here
Went in for an oil change they were fast and friendly and reminded me my NY state inspection expired in 3 days. Good thing they checked saved me another trip and possibly a ticket. I’ll be back for my next service!
Could have more food items
Well sometimes giving people Or in this case a business a second chance is not always a good thing. First let me say that in over 55 years I have never left a bad review. About 2 years ago I went To the mobile to get synthetic oil change. I dropped my car off in the morning And I work locally so I just got picked up And went to work. I usually get the work done by my local mechanic around my house. A co-worker of mine had gone there and not had a problem when she had her oil changed So I figured I would try. My car takes 5 quarts of oil I use Mobil 1 synthetic and its usually cost me around $70 at my local shop. Nobody ever called me to tell me the car was ready so I showed up at the end of the day. When the manager told me how much the bill was I just couldnt believe it. Not only did they charge me $129.95 for the same Mobil 1 oil change I get done at my regular shop for $70. They also said I needed a cabin in an air filter so they go ahead and put those in for me he tells me. The cabin filter Cost $38.95 and they charge me $36.49 For the air filter. When I asked Why they Didnt Call me To let me know that I need the filters before they did the work. His response was I know you needed them so I didnt want to bother you with that I figured you would just do them anyway I told him That I could have gotten both filters at AutoZone for about $23. So my simple oil change that I brought the car in for Cost me $205.39 plus tax. I swore to myself that I would never go back there again. Around August 3rd I brought my car in for a New York state inspection. I had just had the car at the dealership For a recall And a check over. The Dealership said everything was fine He gave me A sheet That showed my tire depth how much brake pads I have left. Things like that like a multi-point inspection. I still had about 8 or 9 days before my inspection was due So I decided not to do at the dealership. That way I wouldnt lose A month. I just got done with work. It was an early day for me and I was leaving around 11 My inspection was a couple days past due So I decided to just do it there real quick On the way home. The car had just been at the dealership and the dealer said there was nothing wrong with it. So I was sitting in the waiting room inside and decided to go outside and smoke a cigarette. I was sitting to the left of the Bay That my car was in And I heard the Mechanic tell Who I thought was the manager But wound up being the owner That my card didnt need anything For inspection. The owners reply Was that Its here for an inspection it must need something .” I thought he was just joking I finish my cigarette went back inside. And about 10 minutes later The owner Tim Told me I needed front and rear brakes to pass inspection and that it was going to be almost $700 for front pads and rotors. I told him that was impossible. That I just have the car at the dealership. The dealer said my brake pads were fine. I told him that if you lower the car down I would show him The bill. He said I doesnt matter what the bill says I said you need brakes to pass inspection. And that if I didnt do the brake job the car would not pass inspection. I said thats fine Ill take it to the dealership and have them look at it if it needs it Ill have them do it. A few minutes later He said that I was all done And he gives me a bill For $37 for the inspection And told me he scraped my sticker off So now I have no Inspection sticker. I made an early bird appointment at the dealership. The dealership Look at my car And say what is the guy talking about Youre almost at the same measurement you were A week and a half ago And you only put 40 miles on the car since then. They passed the car for inspection.Beware the owner TIM he is hard to miss. A round guy with glasses and a superiority complex! HE Is a liar a snake And a con man Just trying to get money out of somebody And I tell everybody not to go there!!
Extremely dissatisfied with my visit here. I called 3 days ahead to discuss getting photos taken of my vehicle for my car insurance, I was told to make an appointment so I did. 3 Days later when I arrived and explained what I needed done, I was told that the service was down and they were unable to do the pictures. Apparently this had been an issue all morning and yet I never received a phone call letting me know there was a problem, instead I had to drive here on my lunch break to find out. Not to mention the person who I was speaking with was rude to me and condescending. I called my insurance agent who then called the Carco company only to find out that there was no issue at all... I went back to the employee here and he told me that my insurance agent was wrong and didnt know what she was talking about. I left and frantically found another place to take the photos using the same software and there was no issue at all. It seems as though this place just couldnt be bothered to help me that day. It was rude and wrong and I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone.
Went here for a photo inspection at 1:15 pm. Carco website says they are open for photo inspections until 3 pm. 3 guys sitting around and told me they are closed. Total waste of my time for a 5 minute photo inspection. Will never go here again.
Great service! Thank you to JR. Polite courteous!
