A great place to enjoy a good cigar. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The staff on that day was helpful and pleasant.This is a lounge cigar bar and so the chairs are very comfortable. The chairs seem to engulf you as you puff away. You are allowed to bring in your own brown bag for a $10 townfee. Overall, I had a great time celebrating a good friends birthday. I will patronize this cigar bar again😉

Absolutely one of the best lounges on the island. Great Selection, prices are fair. And the guys are always helpful especially the very attractive and accommodating woman in the back who is always helpful with anything anybody needs!!

For someone new this is a great place to get started and get comfortable. The staff is very helpful and all very knowledgeable about there cigars. It’s a great place to go with a bunch of Friends to relax and enjoy some sports and some great cigars.

Chill atmosphere, good selection of cigars. Plenty of TVs for watching sports and stuff. Gets a bit noisy when certain games are on, but thats kind par for the course.

Great staff, amazingly helpful gentlemen behind the desk, I have been around this area for over a decade waiting for someone to open a decent cigar shop around the area and this place he delivered in a major way. Super comfortable setting friendly people and super attentive service from the hostess. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy stogies with friends any day or for special occasions like game day! The Italian place next door also makes it that much better !

Very upscale cigar lounge. We came after dinner one night and had a great evening smoking cigars, chatting and just relaxing. There are a variety of seating options here from highboy tables and tall chairs, to lush leather low backs with ottomans. Ventilation works well and there were plenty of TVs to watch. There was a woman working the register who continually made her rounds cleaning the ash trays, wiping the tables and furniture and generally making sure the guests were happy. We will be back often.

A cigar lovers paradise. A great location to enjoy a fine cigar. At night and on the weekends there is a wait staff that will serve you a coffee, cocktail, or a soft drink. There is an incredible ventilation system that gets rid of the Smoke right away. An Amazing walk in humidor with a wide variety of cigars from around the world. Reasonably priced with a great staff that makes you feel like family. Will definitely be going back soon.

Ok prices not the friendliest staff in the world gave me grief for not making a purchase while sitting in the lounge eventhough i was smoking pipe tobacco i bought there on my last visit.

Hands down, the best cigar lounge on Long Island. I can’t say I’ve been to every single cigar lounges on Long Island but a lot of them. Enough that I can say that this one is the best I’ve been to. Huge humidor that’s always full and a selection that can’t be beat. Perfect temperature and humidity in there. Great relaxing atmosphere, front and rear lounges with leather very comfortable comfortable couches and several televisions to watch any sports or anything else both front and back. Excellent, excellent and kind assistance with knowledge of all the cigars. Employees, excellent. The knowledge of all cigars, with even knowing specifically what I like so if I want to try another the explanation is great so I found others that I liked also. Did I say best cigar lounge on Long Island. Yes. Go there and enjoy.

I travel to Long island a lot and this is a great spot. Very accommodating. I honestly dont know if prices are good or not but selection is outstanding. I think what separates this spot is the massive lounge. And even though were smoking cigars, you dont feel like you are in a haze of smoke. The filtration is great. WiFi great to get work done or play games. The regulars dont make you feel intimidated. Staff excellent.

What a great place to hang out for some alone time or with a friend, took a 6 pack and some plastic cups picked a few great cigars from their amazing humidor inventory and just had a nice relaxing time, couldnt have asked for anything more

Ranges from business professionals. To working class people. You dont need a membership to sit down and have good conversation. But you need a membership for a locker.

Extremely overpriced. Nice place but you do much better online and out of state. Bought Patels new ALR 2nd Edition paid $15.50 for them which is roughly 4 dollars higher than our of state and online.

A haven for the serious cigar smoker! A very well stocked humidor with a great staff. Theres an abundance of comfortable leather chairs and TV screens. I especially liked the countertop and stools with electric and USB outlets. No better place to get work done and just relax with a great cigar.

I was unable to experience this establishment due to the man behind the counters rude welcoming (NOT). WE CAME WITH A REGULAR AND WAS PREPARED TO SPEND MONEY BECAUSE SHE RECOMMENDED MATADOR. after the encounter we left and will.never return!

My husband loves this place. You can sit, relax and smoke a cigar. Sushi or pizza next door that you can bring in while you smoke, drink and watch the game.

The cigars were presented inside the humidor in a very clean, serene and enticing manner.

Nice place, friendly knowledgeable staff, wonderful selection of cigars and house blend pipe tobacco. One of the last few places that still has a selection of briar and meerschaum pipes, or anything pipe related thats not glass. Lounges are comfortable, clean and a great place to enjoy a cigar or pipe while you watch some tv, read, or catch up with friends. Lockers are available to keep your cigars and other tobacco for a nominal fee and they have complimentary drinks, there is always someone cleaning out ashtrays and asking if you need anything. MAtador Hauppauge just really is one of my favorite establishments for my tobacco needs, the service is top notch.

I just walked in (12/14/18 @ 1 pm) to get information about the lounge, the services they provide and to purchase a humidor/cigars. Stood at the counter for 15 mins with not one person acknowledging our existence. There were a bunch of men talking and its a small place, so you cant say you didnt see my husband and I. Is it because my husband was with a female??? Or that we didnt have the look of a serious consumer??? If you are not an older man, dont bother coming here....unless you enjoy being completely ignored.
