I was shopping around to repower a 1548 Grizzly with a 40 horse. Talked to Mark and he set me up with a 40 Zuke. Process was pretty painless, he answered all questions I had and kept me informed all along the way. I couldnt have asked for better service from a locally owned business. Great quality business in Eastern North Carolina.

Staff was helpful and very polite. I just ordered a new boat motor and they were willing to help install and route the wire for my transducer for my new fish finder for free. How nice of them.

Worst place on the planet to buy boat. Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. Service is terrible and front desk associate is one of the rudest people I’ve ever talked to. Factory Carolina skiff isn’t any better on service. I’ve owned Carolina skiffs my entire life but will never buy another much less recommend one to somebody new or used. From bay racer or anywhere else. There are much better places to buy a new boat.

Stay away from service department!!!! Suzuki should pull their dealership if they care about their brand. Simple water pump replacement and lower unit oil change turned into broke bolt in the unit housing, which they where paid extra time to remove. Picked up boat month later, wouldnt pump and ran hot. Called dealership back and only interested in selling me a boat/motor. Said motor not worth repairing. Told them broken bolt had not been removed, they could have cared less. Sent them pictures and no response. So, I sold the boat a few months later and his backyard mechanic removed broken bolt, replaced the gasket and now motor is doing fine. If you have a mechanical/maintenance need on your motor, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT USE THESE FOLKS!!!!

Talk to 6 different boat places about a new trailer all said 8 to 10 weeks out some places I talk to said buy a boat in order to get one .Talk the Mark and in two weeks he had me a new trailer .Great plsce

At Bay Racer Marine, prices are competitive, and they do fantastic work! I have always been extremely satisfied with the work they have done on my boat. The best part of my experience is the Customer Service. They do everything they can to make it as painless as possible.

I appreciate the time Bay Racer took informing us about different styles of boats that would best suit our needs and made us feel that they took pride in customer service above the boat sale. We are just starting the process of shopping for a bay boat and we really want to make an educated decision; understating that they gave us some tips on what to look out for and made themselves available to help in our process. My wife and I are happy we stopped in!

This is a GREAT place to buy a boat. The boats are well cared for and the staff is so well informed. I really had a thousand questions and they were patient with me throughout the experience. Cant wait to come back.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! The lady at the front desk and answers the phone is extremely rude and unknowledgeable, called to order some parts, ask about pricing on some maintenance for a lower unit and possibly see if I could order a special tool for my motor through them.The rude lady proceeded to tell me she doesn’t get paid to give out free advice and hung up. Months previous to this the same lady gave me a hard time and was very disrespectful when I was registering my boat in the store. I’ve never left a bad review anywhere but this place definitely deserved my first. Better off going to Brasda Marine everyone is friendly and knowledgeable over there!

I use to think all boat cleaners were the same... big mistake on my part. I have worked with a few different companies over the years to clean the underside of my boat. I was referred to Bay Racer Marine a few years ago and they have been great. No problems, no excuses, no damage to the underside of the boat... they are the best. I wont hire anyone else but them.

Great sales process. Financing with everything including extras went well. Picking up the boat was easy and they met us there right on time and went over every detail. I recommend them!

We began our search for a boat during the fall boat show, and had decided on a Carolina Skiff from another dealer. During the process it appeared that we were just another customer, and did not feel that we were getting what we felt was good “customer service.” If it was that way while we were purchasing, we wondered would it would be like after they had our money. I contacted Bay Racer about a boat on the web site. After that, personnel from Bay Racer contacted us regarding the boat. We actually purchased the boast strictly from emails and phone calls because we were so impressed and felt so taken care of. Our boat is great, and I’m so glad I called Bay Racer instead of going through the hassle of being just a number at the other place.

Took my sons commercial boat Thursday morning, got back around 3:30 same day. Found problem and repaired 3 carbs. Back to fishing Friday morning. Great service. Highly recommend...

This is definitely a place you need to check out. They were really helpful and everything I got from them was exactly what I needed. Once its time to buy a new boat this is where Im going.

The staff is extremely helpful, when your going through the looking / buying process, Rick, mark, and Julie all helped out tremendously, they have the best prices on the boats, biggest problem I have with them is after the sale they have very little to do with you, want return calls, always seems there doing something and cant get to the phone,

Before you purchase a boat anywhere in the Havelock Area, you need to go to Bay Racer Marine. Great people and they are very knowledgeable. I unfortunately purchased a boat before I went to them, but they will be the ONLY people I let service my boat from here on out. You will not be disappointed in their service or quality of work.
