Helped me out in a jam (same day) when a Budget truck rental booked well in advance had little sympathy for me when I showed up to pick up my reserved truck, on moving day no less, and there were none to be had. I did receive an unsympathetic apology from Budget though. Penske hooked me up same day and at a cheaper rate.

Rented a truck for a local move about a year ago. Very friendly staff and easy to work with. Will be my go to place for truck rentals.

Over and above! Ronnie and his wife should do a clinic on how to display proper customer service. From the minute we walked in they bent over backward to help us. They counseled us on how many boxes wed need, how much paper, how much packing tape, how much plastic wrap...and offered to take back and refund us for anything we didnt use. Whats more, Ronnie ACTUALLY DROVE to our house that evening (a distance of 40 miles one way) to make sure we had what wed need for the next few days of packing! He then called a couple days later to follow up...even offered to come help us load the truck! Then he called while we were on the road to check on us. Unbelievable. His attentiveness made us feel like we were family.Our truck was in great shape, clean and well-maintained, and we drove through the mountains back to Michigan with absolutely no problem.We would recommend using this location, even if you have to drive a little longer to get there, as you will never experience better service anywhere.

Everything was as they told us, easy pick up and drop off. There are no heavy truck good suspension though. My husband drove it the 800 plus miles. Not very comfortable. Every bump felt very rough.

They offered instead of me having to ask, to make sure I was well taken care of! Thank you for all of the help!

Great experience. We reserved a 12 ft Penske truck online. It was less expensive to rent this truck for three days than it was to rent a Mini Van from Enterprise. And there is no extra fee with Penske for one way. The lady at Havelock was very, very, nice and helpful. They gave us a 16 ft truck with a ramp instead of a 12 ft a no extra cost. The trucks seats were very comfortable and it had a outlet for a phone charger. No complaints, 5 stars.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The customer service skills that were shown to me were awful. Also everything was not explained up front to me as far as reservation fees and other prices, during the reservation period. I was told one thing by one person and when I got there to pick up the truck I was told something completely different. I will NEVER utilize this company again.

After being in the military for over 17 years and having to endure the transfer process a couple times, I can honestly say that Ronnie is one of the most professional and hospitable business employee and gentleman I have ever had the opportunity to deal with. He was the first man to call me spontaneously right as I drove into Havelock just to ensure I was OK and to make sure I was aware of his location. He even later advised me to return my trailer once I was in town to save some money on rental fees and gave me the most thorough truck tutorial anyone could provide (which was not done on the initial pick up in California). He is a true gentleman and I look forward to dealing with him regarding my moving needs in the future.

Completely satisfied from start to finish with Penske.Pricing. Military/AAA pricing is huge. Penske called me back to confirm original quote after I cancelled and came down a significant amount. Ask them what they can do for you pricewise!Truck. Newer 16 foot box trucks are great. Compared to past Budget and UHaul trucks the sound system had an AUX in and, while certainly not Bose, was happily able to overwhelm road noise.Customer Service. This is where Penske really shines. 100%, every time I called, with brief navigation, I spoke with an enthusiastic Customer Service rep. This is their best selling point, aside from price and product.Highly recommend Penske, will use them for my next moves.

This place was quick and easy. Ronnie was helpful! Boxes are decent priced.
