The place has great inventory, but they are closing up an hour before I got there, and am good before the advertised time. The staff was helpful but I honestly think they tried to oversell me pretty heavily for a beginner /intermediate skier.$1500 for boots, bindings and skis is a lot for a entry level setup. Especially when I went down the road and got a really nice setup for under a thousand. That said the staff was nice and theres a lot of inventory

Great staff. Theyre knowledgeable and friendly. Exactly what youd hope for when looking to upgrade your skis or boarding gear or if its your first time. The best part is theyre local. Not part of a corporate chain. Youre supporting real people in the community. Back in the dreams of being a ski bum this is the shop I wish I could have opened.

Love the local vibe and supporting local business. Just hard to find things you really love when it comes to have a smaller inventory than online like so many of us are accustomed to these days.

My husband and I came in looking to buy a new snowboard and boots, we were in the store for 20 minutes waiting for a sales person to help us select and purchase a set but no body said anything. Not hi, how are you? Can I help you find something? Nothing. However, when older couples came in who appeared to have decent money, they were immediately helped. This place is a joke for regular people and only caters to the wealthy.

Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable. My daughter and I went in tonight and literally I told the lady that our first ski lesson ever is going to be Friday and we have nothing. She helped us pick out everything from pants and jackets to goggles and helmets! It was awesome!

They have a solid selection of gear for snowboarders and skiers alike and their staff is knowledgeable. However, if you dont have an abundance of money to drop on top-of-the-line new gear, this place is not your best bet. If you already have gear you want to get looked over and they deem it too old or outdated, they refuse to service it at all- no waxing or edge sharpening even if you signed a liability waiver saying you understand the product is older. Not budget friendly and not the best services provided. Eh.

These guys are so helpful I knew nothing about skiing and they answered all my questions and made me feel real comfortable and they were no hurry to get back to something else you know they dedicated their time to me and wasnt going to let me leave until I felt comfortable so that was kind of neat that was the best customer service Ive had and over a decade

We traveled 1.5 hours to use these guys based on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. Awesome customer service, and very knowledgeable staff. We will be using them again, well worth the drive.

The Ski Shack is the place to go for all your winter sport needs! They did great with my binding mount and wax and adjusting my wife’s bindings. Had it done quicker than they originally quoted me. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff they answered all of my questions with confidence. Not too pushy like some retail associates. Will definitely stick with them.

This place is awesome! The staff are all so patient and nice. We had an issue where our rental skis got mixed up with anothers up at Lookout Pass during their free ski school. The folks at the Ski Shack spent the time to look through all of their rental records to see if by chance the other people had also rented from them, which they did! They got things straightened out for both of our families. Just love these guys and will always support them!

Fantastic customer service, Im always welcomed and all my questions are answered in full. They set up your bindings free and will give you advice on your setup if youre having any issues. Ive never found a better place to get my snow equipment! Locally owned is a huge plus too :)

Overall, very helpful selecting equipment and helping family get suited up. One gentleman was somewhat of a know it all and could have listened to be better when I told him my ski boots were too small and he replied theyre supposed to be tight and I stated they feel too tight and he suggested they were fine. Two week later, my big toe nail fell off.

Just moved to the area and had been wanting to check this place out . Small ski and board shop just like I like them . Feels cozy with Log Cabin Decor inside .So many awesome deals on gear! Definitely my new home shop . Family owned! Everyone needs was friendly and knew the area insanely well . Wont go anywhere else for gear and for timing and repair!

Awesome! Was short on time to grab some gear for my kid. The guys in the shop went out of their way to put together a package and have it ready to go on short notice... and at the end of the day!

They are so helpful. I went for some hardware to install my bindings on my board. They had run out of stock, but the guys took the time to hunt some down for me. They couldnt have been more courteous.

I am all for supporting local But the customer service is really lacking. This is the 3rd and final time Ive been in there and was not greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything. When asking questions youre treated like your an inconvenience. Definitely will be spending my money elsewhere

I have rented equipment from Ski Shack in the past and am in the process of purchasing new ski boots and skis for the 2014/2015 season. I have always had excellent customer service here. I really appreciate the staffs knowledge and patience during my visits. The staff gives their honest opinion on the various products they sell, and from what I can tell, Ski Shack sells only the best quality equipment. They carry 2 of the 3 top-rated ski boots I had already scoped out in the latest Ski magazine buyers guide prior to my most recent visit. I had a thorough boot fitting and felt well taken care of as well as educated during the entire process. I highly recommend Ski Shack to anyone into winter snow sports! Support this locally owned business!

Was 3 stars...now one! 2nd year in row they forgot about servicing my skis and not calling me after 2+ weeks. Selection is very poor as well....man love supporting local but....FAIL!Dont hire slacker kids and expect to be servicing your customers right! If a REAL competitor were to open around here...they will be toast. Doing my tuning myself now....by the way...I was in there a half hour before someone acknowledged me....

I blew out my edge on my deck with a core shot. No other repair place would even consider touching it. They took on the challenge without hesitation and when my board wasnt ready on time, they set me up with a top notch demo board so I could still get up to shred some fresh powder the next day. The friendliness and stellar customer service at the Ski Shack has won loyalty from this patron! Im telling all my powder friends to head there for all their repair needs. Thanks for going above and beyond the call of duty. Ill be back!

Everyone is super nice here and also they all have great knowledge of snowboarding, and skiing. Not even once have I had a bad time renting or purchasing clothing here. The building is a little cramped but its a sweet humble business.

The staff at this shop are very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought snowboard boots here, and when I rode with them once and realized they were too tight, they swapped them out for another pair, and the tech spent a good amount of time with me heating up the liners to mold them to my feet, as well as modifying them for my unusually tall metatarsals. I get my board tuned here every year, and waxed when Im too lazy to do it myself, and they always do a great job. Their Labor Day sale is awesome too.

Great little shop, rented a few pairs of skis here, tried on several ski boots until employee found one that fit my girlfriend just right. We were skiing at lookout, so one thing to note, lift at lookout closed a 4, ski shack closes at six. We just barely made it back with a few min to spare at 5:53; but they had already closed. Kind of annoying as we were visiting family who lived 40 min away. Had to cut our visit short and miss family breakfast so we could drop off skis by 9 in the morning on our way out of town. Will probably just rent at the mountain next time

The staff here are great and super helpful. My bindings broke (I didnt buy them there) but they are sending them back for a warranty replacement for me and gave me a really good deal on a pair of rental bindings. Ive bought other things from here also and they really work to get you the gear that works best for you and your rising style.

My daughter rented some boots, around Thanksgiving time and she went just yestarday and they didnt fit her when she went and they would push aging her feet causing pain, so today we went and asked if we could trade them because we are renting for the season but they let us trade for different boots without any wait or frustration. All the employees love skiing and have first-hand experience. Theyre usually not trying to just sell you stuff but actually help you out. The skis and jackets are pretty expensive though.

A tiny shop with ski and snowboard products. You can buy all the equipment and accessories from socks, jackets, pants, goggles, to skis and snowboards. Unfortunately, the prices are quite high, in another shop I would pay about 4 times less for the same ski gloves 😟. Nevertheless, professional service, parking and certainly everyone will find something for themselves 😃
