On a trip from KC to Denver, the service department was able to see me the same day when my 4runner started losing power intermittently. Although the original diagnosis was a starter going out, after they ran a diagnostic it was determined the issue was a simple cleaning of the battery terminals. I appreciate the integrity shown by not going ahead and suggesting a new starter (a much more expensive fix). If I lived in Hays, this is where I would take my vehicle.
On a road trip driving from Colorado to South Carolina in our Toyota 4runner we broke down in the middle of the night just outside of Hays. Had it towed to this dealership with an unusual issue. Robert took care of us and was extremely helpful. Their tech diagnosed the issue and Robert had parts on the way right away. They wrapped it up sooner than expected and we continued on to drive ~4500miles the following week. A big thanks to Robert and the crew at Lewis Toyota!
Would not recommend servicing your vehicle here. I had a bad experience twice. I gave them another chance but they failed again. They don’t know how to treat their customers or to keep their word. They will quote you a price but end up asking more because they had a miscommunication. They just don’t treat their customers right. This Toyota needs a major change in their employees and customer service.
I have been here many times, and the service is always awesome! They provide Honest and Friendly service. Once Ive described the service I need, Im given an estimate of how long the service will take to complete. There is a nice waiting room. Im given updates if it looks like there are unexpected issues. This is the only place I will have my car serviced.
