Friendly staff and its always pretty clean.

Awful customer service, drive thru woman was curt and rude. We got in the drive through line well before it closed, and we waited 20 minutes in line to be told “we’re closed”. There was no way to get out of the drive thru and all she said was “sorry” in a very rude manner. The car in front of us got to order. Nobody came out and told us that they were closed and around 4 cars were behind us that they also neglected to tell they were closed. Never coming back. Get better workers.

You can’t beat a hot fudge sundae on a warm evening in Hays. Even though the drive thru line was long it moved quick. This isn’t their first rodeo!

Realy good friendly my husband is deaf and one girl is so cute talk to my husband in sing language my husband is happy no many people do that

Dairy Queen in Hayes Kansas is delicious although all I go here for is ice cream because its cheaper than Freddys and a million times better than any other restaurant you could get ice cream from besides braums but you would have to drive clear to Wichita for that I give it a 120,000% delicious ice cream I pray dairy Queen Dont disappear at least while Im still alive

Everything ordered is usually correct. Some staff seem to need an update in customer service.

Arrived 20 minutes before close and the workers let us sit at the drive thru for 30 minutes without ever talking to us. It’s fine if you can’t serve us, but say something. Instead, they served the person in front of us at 9:45 and let us wait for nothing. Eventually they were looking right at us in the drive thru and laughing. Multiple people tried to be served at the same time, and they too got tired of waiting and left. Super unprofessional.

I second the wish for food, new staff and new management.What cracks me up most is if you’ve ever been to a DQ before, you have something to directly compare to, and this one is sub par.... now, that being said, am I never coming back? NO. I like DQ for quick treats. Ice cream always improves my day!

So this DQ does not have grill items, only ice cream for those of you that did not know. Other than that its a great place. We were just a little surprised it didnt have grill food, but thats not exactly their fault

They need to get the orders right.I ordered a berry blizzard and asked them NOT to put in the chocolate.The gal verified that I did not want the chocolate.I emphasized NO chocolate.Business was slow when I was there.You guessed it...she put chocolate in.I drove around to get it replaced.The one gal stood there making a point of rolling her eyes at me and I was handed a cup that was filled to 3/4 down from the lip.I have never bought a blizzard that was not filled to above the lip.I was so disgusted by their attitude I refused it and left.I have tried repeatedly to call to speak to the manager, but the phone is always busy.This will be my last trip ever to this DQ!

My favorite place to get ice cream in Hays. Can be pricey, but ice cream is always good and staff work quickly even during big summer rushes.

Normally excellent, but my wifes Snicker Blizzard had virtually no Snicker. Really just a high priced cup of ice cream. UPDATE: Visited again. This time the crew was much more conscientious! Wife was more than satisfied and my blizzard was made to order! And NO, they dont know me from Adam!

My wife and I went to dairy Queen with my daughter son-in-law and therefore kids was refused service because the two twins that are 2 years old did not have masks on we took our business to Freddys

Very friendly staff. Delicious ice cream. There isnt a whole lot of seating, so if you come during a busy time you may have to eat your ice cream on the picnic tables outside, but as long as long as the weather is nice that normally isnt a bad thing :) I also wish they served food...

Said I didnt want my royal cheesecake blizzard because it didnt have any cheese cake bites in it. I CHECKED. Also for story purposes I only had three bites then proceeded to dig around for these bites. Instead of saying oh sorry let me remix and put some more in there or would you like your money back? the cranky old woman with short hair said the one I just made uh no theres cheese cake bites in there I know it I made it and I go no I checked and she said OK do you want anything else? I said no and she angrily chucked the blizzard three feet into the trash can. Grow up lady and make better blizzards.

Great customer service but small sitting area. The overall place is cramped. They recently removed trees and now you can see the building from the street. I would give this place a 5 if they sold food. :)

I got a medium cotton candy blizzard and I almost died after I ate the whole thing it was so good I couldnt stop! Next time Ill be ordering a small! Or maybe not...
