While passing thru Kansas I noticed my harley tire was ready to blow so I used my harley navigation to nearest harley shop which ended up being closed down. Then found this place and they were the only shop around with my tire size and immediately got my bike on the lift and installed new tire for me. Great customer service!

The shifting linkage on my Harley failed completely in Burlington, Colorado on a Saturday afternoon (July 10, 2021). I called HOGs Roadside Assistance and they gave me my three options of where to go for help, by location: Colorado Springs, Aurora, and Hays. (I was heading east, back to home in Raleigh, NC.) It was a no-brainer when I heard the name Doerfler. The Doerfler Harley-Davidson dealership had done an emergency repair on the same bike several years ago and they treated me and my wife like royalty. The Harley dealership is long closed, but Kyle carries on the tradition of great service in his own shop. He gave me his mobile number and invited me to call him when I got close to Hays. By the time I managed to get my bike to Hays on the back of a flatbed, it was 7:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time and the shop had been closed for three and a half hours. Kyle came in from home and repaired my bike and had me out the door by 8:30 p.m. The man, whom my wife quickly nicknamed Captain America, saved our trip from disaster. Thank you Captain America!P.S. Its obvious Kyle loves his work and loves helping people. Hays, Kansas is very fortunate to have such a person!
