Nightmare of a company to go through with a car. Please steer clear. On the 6th day of financing, 3 out of 4 driveshaft bolts “sheered out”. 2 weeks later I have significant engine oil consumption eating up 2 quarts of oil each week! Almost had to get a new engine a month into financing a Vw golf r, situation turned bad & had to return the car due to them selling me a car with a bad engine. They paid me out what I put in the car, & had me sign something so I don’t come after them in court. Funny thing is, I saw them list a white Vw golf r no more than a month later, looking almost exactly like what I got. Hopefully that was a different golf r… best of luck 👍

Good1. The place is good with variety of bikes as long as it is Kawasaki Honda and Yamaha.2. Staff is knowledgeable and pleasant.3. Many accessories are available such as helmets and such.Bad2. Almost everything has a markup added on top MSRP.+ Destinations and Assembly/misc fees. This a rip-off and in general Is avoid such places.

Great customer service for sales service and parts. Large selection of parts and accessories in store and can get with in a few days if not in stock with the exceptions that go along with Covid-19 and delivery. I recommend checking them out and see for yourself. Picked up a 2021 DRZ 400S few weeks ago Love it!!...Thanks East Bay Motorsports!

Been to many dealerships from California to Washington, this one is bottom of the barrel. Really bad customer service mixed with them not agreeing to prices in person that they agreed to over the phone.Not only that but if you try to use any facts and logic to justify why a bike is over priced, the head Salesperson Marty or whatever his name is will tell you, you don’t know anything about the bike business

Staff went well above and beyond. I walked up from Hayward station, and got heatstroke on the way. After checking out a bike, Marty not only offered me a ride back to the BART station, but even offered to pick me up when I came to buy the bike. These people have top notch customer service.

THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced! Shana in the service department has to be the worst person for that job. She has no clue on how to treat a customer. Any prudent business person wouldn’t allow such a person to be a representative of their business. I don’t understand how this business can continue to employ such a person. She was not only rude and obnoxious, but had no concerns at all for the customer needs. very sad!

Prepare for the as seen on tv deceptive sales practices. I was provided with a sales quote which included a $1,260.00 “dealer prep fee” I asked the sales representative what that consisted of and why it was so high and explained it was to assemble the bike and it was high due to demand. In addition he told me to shop around.I called another dealership and was quoted $475 on a comparable atv. I didn’t think demand should affect the assembly cost so I asked for a manger to call me.The manager further explained that the “dealer prep” fee also consisted of a dealer markup due to demand. He advised me to refer to their website for the correct pricing breakdown. The manager stated the “dealer prep” and dealer markup are one in the same. The price not listed on their website. I asked for a corrected sales invoice, he gave me a hard time about coming in to see the ATV that hadn’t even been delivered yet and asked me how much money they should make on the sale in a condescending manner.I find it very deceptive that this dealership is masking their dealer markup as a “dealer prep”Fee. Makes the dealership markup seem like its required.Make sure you call around before spending 10k as mixed in that cost could be an arbitrary $800 thrown in their to benefit the sales rep or dealer owner.

I recently have the chance to check out East Bay Motorsports during the Yamaha demo ride.Staff was nothing but nice, I had multiple people come up to me and asked me if I needed help. Called in to get pricing information on a new crf50, I explained that I was previously quoted $2350 out the door for a new bike that has an msrp of 1599. The sales person Jose who took my call at first said I think they are about 2500 out the door I explained him that I reside in a county with a cheaper sales tax rate and that I was quoted about a month ago $2350 out the door. He placed me on hold, after a pause he said sorry my manager would not sell it for less than 2700, (keep in mind that that suggested manufacturer price is 1599, after sales tax that is $1,724.52+ $75 from DMV and lets add another $30 for electronic filling and we have a total of $1829.52. At the price that they had previously quoted of $2,350, they were already making $520 over their regular earnings on the motorcycle because Im sure they did not pay honda 1599 for the bike. All this to say be very careful with the staff at this store, they will charge way above and beyond the regular price to gouge their customers for their hard earned cash. Do Not Recommend

Incredible Customer Service. For My Security Team, our 2015 Polaris Ranger crew cab was picked up, serviced, given new breaks and 4 brand new tires and returned in fantastic working order to our Tech Campus in the San Jose Bay Area. The Service Team responsible for ordering parts and scheduling the work kept me updated with information they received from the distributor for the tires we had placed an order for. There were a few changes on the distributors end and the tire purchase kept getting pushed back but East Bay kept me informed of all the changes and set backs as they were occurring. Now get this: East Bay even ordered a recall part for our Security Issue Polaris and they did the repair at no charge. I could not have asked for a better experience and will be using them again. Tony in Service is phenomenal and so are his colleagues.

I went here to have my battery replaced pre COVID closure. I was told I could wait for it because it does not take that long. 5 hours later my bike was ready. After the first hour I went looking for the service advisor to check in. I was told he would get in touch with me so back to the showroom where he did call to tell me it would be just a little longer. Another hour passes and I am back at service desk being treated like I am invisible (can anyone here just say “hi”). Finally I am told the new battery had to be filled and charged. WHAT? no one told me this was not a maintenance free battery like the one I was replacing. Never a sorry or even a concern about the lack of communication. Being a retail sales manager for over 25 hears I could not help but notice the lack of a sense of urgency throughout this entire place. Few employees even acknowledged me in my 5 hour stay.Cut to present day. I need two new tires installed so thinking to give EBMS one more try I call to make an appointment. Operator answers promptly and is friendly (this is a good sign) she transfers me to service and no one answers so it rolls back to the friendly operator who I ask to try service again..... again no answer. Not answering the phone in my line of work is not even an option, but apparently EBMS Service has enough business to be selective when they answer the phones.So here I am in Tracy Motor Sports waiting room while my Wing gets its new tires. In just 30 minutes I think just about every employee here has acknowledged me. They are super friendly and engaging with every customer. Hard to understand how two facilities under the same ownership umbrella can be so different. It is worth double the drive time to come to Tracy Motor Spots!

Im new to the motorcycle world and was hesitant on buying my first bike. Jose greeted me at the door and I told him the stipulations I had in mind before I made any purchase. He was able to meet and exceed those expectations, was just an easy guy to talk to, and didnt make me feel dumb for asking my newbie questions. At the end of the day I was more than happy with the bike I chose. They worked with me on pricing and delivery of the bike.Even the delivery was awesome. Phil texted me when he was on his way and the estimated time frame hed arrive. Delivery was quick and easy. He ran down the basic features of the bike, where everything was, and a quick run through on how to her going (I had never ridden before that day). He even wiped down the bike on the spot and took a couple pictures.Definitely an A+ from me, check em out!

My husband just had a complete overhaul on a white R6 after being damaged from a wreck. They completely respected our insurance and our crazy requests as they worked diligently and were so in tune with what that bike needed! Horrible customer service, and a complete waste of my time.Was in the market for a 2020 Sea Doo GTX Limited 230, and was contacted via text by East Bay Motorsports (my nearest dealer) after submitting a build request on Sea Doo’s website. I was told the Model I am looking for is available and Went in to take a look.The employees do not wear any sort of uniform or badges or anything so when I got there, I stood around for a few minutes before I flagged down a person thinking he was an employee to which he answered “I don’t work here”.I ended up browsing through the PWC, and found the one I was looking for myself. Checked it out for a bit, and answered my own questions about it through google on my phone.I was ready to purchase and had a list of accessories I wanted along with it so I walked around looking for a rep. I walked up to a desk, who pointed me to another desk, who pointed me to a person, who finally pointed me to another person. These guys had me walking around the store back n forth like a fool, until I got frustrated and stood back over by the sea doo and asked them to send me a sales person.A guy by the name of Amit finally approached me to help, and I told him I want this Sea Doo with a trailer and some accessories. He looked at the sea doo, wrote down a few things and asked us to follow him. We ended up at a desk, at which point he told us that “we’re extremely busy today, so I will have to come back the next day”, or “I will have to wait for a few hours”. I wanted to avoid either option and told him I am ready to buy, just need the numbers from him, and again he replied “I would have to wait a few hours”. He said he can take my information and phone number down and give me a call before the end of the day with numbers, to which I agreed and left disappointed.The day went by, I never heard back from anyone, the next day I tried contacting them again and the person on the phone said they would have someone get back to me. I started texting them on the number I was texted from in the beginning and was speaking with someone by the name of Dezenisa, who took all my information down, “again”. I was told I would hear back the next day, and a week went by without a response.Finally after contacting them several times asking for the same thing, I get a missed call and voicemail from Marty. When I gave him a call back, he asked for the information “again”, and then proceeded to tell me the sea doo I wanted was sold a few days ago.These guys really need to get their stuff together.

I bought my 2016 Honda CB500F motorcycle here. Helpful informative employees. The sales tactics are mellow by car dealership standards. The retail guys are knowledgeable and helpful. The auto shop is busy most days but they are friendly and willing to help if they have a moment.

Great selection of motorcycles, whatever you are looking for, they have it. Including gear and I think they also service bikes (correct me if Im wrong). I went to sell my V-Strom and they gave me a pretty good deal.Now, if you do take your bike to sell, make sure you know what youre bringing. Theyll ask all the regular questions and obviously they need to make a profit; be honest about the condition and youre set to get a good and quick deal. You may get a better deal through CL, but the easiness of going, letting them inspect it, and walking out with a check is great for when you need to get rid off stuff QUICKLY.

Went in to check out a jet ski, never purchased it but they ran my credit and gave me possible payment plans. Again I never purchased anything or signed up for anything, however 2 weeks later I noticed my credit score dropped over 80 points, and a week after that I received a credit card in the mail. I never agreed to open an account with them, really wish I never went in to this store

Basically reliable with good service and reasonable prices. One time when they replaced the front tire they didnt tighten the front axle nut properly so the ABS light went on intermittently. I diagnosed this myself with a service manual and corrected it. Otherwuse Ive had decent service experiences here.

Originally I was looking for a certain model ATV. They did not have it there. They had a good effort looking for it. They checked around but then he offered me a really sweet deal on a new one in camo with power steering and I went with that. I am very happy.Danny was really good and courteous. I have had my Yamaha motorcycle repaired here 2-3 times. They will often try to perform multiple services each costing around $400. You have to narrow down their work to the things you really need and can afford. They seem competent at bike repair. They dont use lower end parts. You might suggest buying them yourself elsewhere.

After reading mixed reviews about them, I was a bit cautious. But I must say I had a pleasant experience with East Bay motorsports.I recently bought a used motorcycle from here. (my first vehicle) The whole team was amazing. The salesman was very friendly and informative. Although I didnt get the perfect deal on the bike, it was a good deal.I went ahead with the deal, took up financing, got a high rate of interest. (because I was a first time borrower with just a year of credit history) But the next day I get a call from the manager saying that they can offer me a new financing deal whose interest rate was half. This, I thought was a good gesture on their part. The manager was helpful when filling up the paper work. After the deal was done, the salesman was giving me tips on how to take care of the bike.

I called the service center looking for a price quote for my 8,000 service on my V-Star. I was told that it would be $230-260 and it would take 2 hrs. I showed up for the service and was handed a paper quote for $790 and it would take 5-6 hours.When asked why so high for oil, spark plugs, and inspections the service person said that the valve timing would be adjusted and other things. I told the service guy that is not due til 16,000 miles. He went and talked to the service manager and came back with a revised estimate for $490 for oil change, spark plugs, and inspection and it would take 3 1/2 - 4 hours. The service guy said that he did not know V-Stars and was not exactly sure how long the additional inspections would take.So you want me to pay your shop to learn V-Stars even through you sell them upstairs? Are you kidding me? How about treating a returning customer with an itemized estimate like all other stores? How about not trying to rip off a customer? How about learning how to service a motorcycle that your business sells?Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Guy Hamilton was the worst in helping me buy a car. It had a cracked oil pan, cracked axel, broken ac and the convertible he agreed to fix and wanted1300 just to diagnose the problem. He then suggested i junk the car and cut my losses. He promised to help me and bailed everytime. Do not trust him, this is the worst experience of my life buying anything.

The purpose of this review is to share the GREAT experience I have with EastBay Motorsports in Hayward, CA. I think most of us read these reviews like press releases so I will be brief. After talking to many powersports dealers about buying a Side-By-Side I finally contacted EastBay Motorsports and was instantly impressed with their customer service, knowledge of products and responsiveness. Not only does EastBay Motosports have a huge amount of inventory, SXSs, dirt bikes, street bikes, ATVs parts and more, they are very friendly and uber knowledgeable about their products. It is also clear the EastBay Motorsports team loves the powersposrts hobby. That really helps. While the entire EastBay Motorsports team deserves credit for doing such a great job, I need to single out Monika in Internet Sales. She was absolutely amazing from email 1 until we closed the deal. Went in to look at a jetski. They try to sell you on the monthly payments rather than the overall cost of the pwc. I left and contacted another dealership who was able to beat the price by 6k. I called Eastbay to see if they would match it but never received a call back.

Very good experience. This was my first PWC experience. .I did purchase the ski from the dealership. I have it home and everything is fine. I havent ridden it yet but they turned it on and did a complete walk through of the ski before I left. I am planning to put them in the water within a couple weeks. Perfect. People seem nice enough but they play games with the prices on the bikes.I found a bike I liked. It was a 4 year old model that was still factory new; has not been previously sold.I liked the price....seemed too good to be true actually!And then I was told that it is on special and another $500 off! Im reaching for my wallet and heading to the sales desk.And then the news: oh, and there is the DMV fee, (ok, sounds fair.) CA environmental fees, (ok, more government, what can you do,) oh, and a $1,800 dealer markup.Wait, say what?I laughed and put my wallet away and left.So, if you lower the cost of the vehicle and then raise the markup its not really a good deal. In fact, the bike was the exact same price as the current model year.I started looking around at all the bikes....the ones on special all had the added dealer markup and the standard prices all had $0 markup.Dont play games with me.I will be buying a bike this weekend...it just wont be from here.And on trip #duo.... I ordered some parts for an older bike Im trying to patch back together. Ok, sure...well give you a call on Friday when the parts come in. Friday comes...want to guess whether or not I received a call? And Saturday- Tuesday after that?East Bay Motorsports: there is a reason they have such a low rating.

I went into East Bay MotorSports, located in Hayward Ca. inquiring and with intentions of purchasing a wave runner. I left East Bay MotorSports purchasing a brand new 2019 Yamaha FX Cruiser HO. My salesman was Marty Dorciich. Marty was very easy to deal with and friendly. He was not only patient with all my indecisiveness on which vessel I wanted, but was very understanding and as far as I am concerned went above and beyond delivering excellent customer service. My entire adventure the day of my purchase, I was greeted and taken care of by not only Marty, but the finalizing of the sales reps, the parts reps and the service reps. Have not had my bike serviced here yet but plan on it. I will update this afterwards. They had half a dozen 16T counter sprockets for my KLR on the shelf as well as everything else from oil to taillights. Honest fellow riders and good people. Better prices than I could find online. Cant say I would not go out of my way to get my supplies here.

Be prepared to hear No!, a lot!!! Especially for parts. They carry virtually nothing in stock, which has been my experience there for years. And none of my bikes are close to being rare. The people in parts are basically nice. But I dont go there for the people. Bikes are overpriced, and the sales staff make you feel generally unimportant.If you want to pay a little more, dont care about any real connection to the staff, and you like special ordering everything, and driving there to order, then to pick up, this is your store.

I got there, told them I have a bike that only has 1000 miles excellent condition want to trade it in but did not ask for an appraisal. The guy greeted me and I let him know I was interested in a Mt09, and that i know what my bike is worth. However I did not give him a number as to what Im looking for my bike. He then proceeds to walk away from me promptly as if he didnt want to deal with someone who is well informed. (Mind you I went on their webpage to quote my trade) I understand dealers need to sale the bike after they buy one from trade in. Now Im okay with a slight lowball or something reasonable. However without prompting he comes back and says I dont mean to insult you but my manager ran the numbers and the most we can give you is 1200 (my bike sells for private party at 5 - 7 Gs. Now when I ran it through their system earlier it told me that 4500 is what I COULD trade for. Now when we said 1200 I told him that I ran it through the system and he immediately changed his plan of attack and said oh did you print it out because then maybe we can change that number. Come on man I am genuinely not going to knock his attempt because I have been in sales for a long time but please if I tell you I know what i want and i am willing to work with you, dont try and rip me off. I honestly understand how dealers work and all but if you are looking to buy a bike from this dealer make sure that you have all your information and research done.Side note: when you go ask your manager on how to sell someone please make sure your out of earshot because everyone in the showroom heard you asking on how to negotiate with the guy who just walked in. NOT GOOD BUSINESS

This could have easily been a 1 star review, but turned into a 5 thanks to Ramiro.I purchased a new SeaDoo PWC on Sat June 15. Jose the sales person was great, and I had asked for him specifically as he helped me over a year ago when I randomly first visited the store and had a lot of questions about PWC and hadnt been ready to purchase anything then.During the finance portion, I met Laura and Ramiro who helped me get all the paperwork and scheduling of delivery taken care of.This is then where things went a bit off. About 1.5 hours into my delivery window, on Wednesday June 19, I had not received a call from anyone inquiring about where exactly to meet/drop off the vehicle, so I called and Laura mentioned that the driver had called in sick and would not be able to deliver the Jet Ski (so would they have told me this had I not called?) She apologized, after some separate calls and rescheduling, provided me with a $100 gift card and we set a delivery window later in the day.Ramiro, the finance person, drove the Jet Ski to my location. While we both had thought that the warehouse had filled the gas tank, they had not, but fortunately I was close enough to the shore that when I noticed this was able to drift against some reeds. Ramiro went to a gas station, got a canister and gas, met me near the reeds and helped me fuel up enough to get my Jet Ski to my homes dock near the Pittsburg Marina.Im incredibly grateful for Ramiros above and beyond help, and really appreciate the efforts of Jose and Laura. Also the one person I dont want to forget to mention, but do not remember his name, was the sales clerk at the back counter who helped us with our accessories, he was very knowledgeable about all the things we could possibly need and many that came in handy that very delivery day.

Eight years ago I bought a motorcycle from Eastbay Motorsport and I said I will never buy another one, because they shopped my credit around (without my permission) to 10 different credit agencies and dropped my credit score down over a hundred points. Next after my first year of ownership and my first major check up on my bike ( must be done or they will void warranty) cost 600 hundred dollars. And now I need my tires changed. I bought my own tires and purchased the tubes from them. I couldnt get a Saturday appointment for 2 weeks. And on that day I dropped off my bike at opening 9am. I got my bike back 5pm. It took all day to change my tires and the charged me 221 dollars just to change tires. I bought the tires from another company and Eastbay changed me 20 dollars extra because I didnt buy from them. And the tubes they sold me for the rear tire were the wrong one and returned mine for 17.99 and charged me 21.99 for different one. My whole experience with Eastbay Motorsport has been all bad. From sales to parts department to service department have all been horrible and I can not and will recommend them for anything. And I will do my best to never buy or get anything done by Eastbay Motorsport again. They SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
