I had a wonderful experience at Garnet & Grace!! I selected my dress way back in 2019 and it was such a fun day. They were able to hone in on styles I would like, stuck to my price range, and and really made the whole process enjoyable and stress free. They were so helpful throughout the pandemic as I had to keep pushing back my wedding date and rescheduling my fittings. When I finally came in for my fitting, that process was just as fun and smooth as picking out the dress the first time! I cannot say how great of an experience this was, especially with the help of Liz. I have never experienced such a personal fitting. She made sure my family who was there with me were comfortable. She made sure I was comfortable and assisted with putting on every single dress to try, which I had not experienced before and GREATLY appreciated. Jamie helped me find my dress! She was very knowledgeable and patient! She let everyone in the crew get to see the dresses they thought I should wear. This place is a gem! If youre in a crunch for a dress that you can buy off-the-rack or you want to save money, this is the place for you. Liz helped me try on so many different dresses. The other sale associates were also really kind and friendly. They organize their dresses by size, which I really appreciate. Although I didnt end up finding the dress there, the experience was wonderful. I highly recommend making an appointment here for your future wedding dress!

I had such a great experience here and with the help of Jamie I found the perfect dress that makes me feel so beautiful! Jamie was patient with me as I tried to figure out what I did and did not like in a dress. And when I finally found the one, she commented on how my entire demeanor changed — she wasn’t just picking me dresses, she was paying attention to how I appeared to feel in each dress. These people are very unprofessional. Good friend of mine bought a dress full price and left it for alterations she was told would be of no charge. They gave her back a dirty dress they had rented her dress after she’d paid full price very sad. When she picked up no alternations we’re made and she got back a filthy dress they must’ve rented out to another bride employees then treated her very poorly and did nothing to help. Do not trust them!

Jaime was so helpful, I described how I wanted my dream dress and within minutes she had dresses lined up for me to try! I was really excited when I tried the ONE, I can’t wait to wear it for my wedding! It’s absolutely gorgeous!Thank you Jaime!

It’s the audacity for me. How do you charge a bride $2k+ for a dress, tell her that you are going to do the alterations for free and rush her to pick the dress up only for her to get the dress home and it’s DIRTY and no alterations done. Here’s the kicker.. the bride already paid for the dress and the shop still advertised it for sale on their website. TRIFLING!! On top of that the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional and told her that they weren’t going to do ANYTHING to rectify this issue.

This place had amazing deals! And I had the best time with Liz, my stylist! The atmosphere was the best and all the ladies were so inviting and great hype women! ❤️

I had the loveliest experience shopping for my wedding dress at Garnet and Grace. It was really easy to get an appointment on the weekend and my stylist Jamie was super helpful. She pulled some dresses to get us started based on my descriptions. It was such a fun, positive, no pressure experience. I didn’t find my dress on the first visit, but had such a good experience that I went back a month later and found my dress on my second appointment! They get new dresses all the time, follow them on Instagram. Thank you Jamie and the two other lovely ladies at the shop, you welcomed my family and made me feel like I was shopping with friends.

We really werent expecting to find the perfect dress but they actually ask you questions before pulling dresses - what is the venue, indoors or out, do you want fitted, full, aline, etc. We ended up finding the exact dress we hoped for!! I cannot praise Garnet & Grace enough! My experience was absolutely wonderful! Not only am I a COVID bride, I am also a bride who doesnt have any female family or friends in the Bay Area, so I was shopping alone. Ariana was ABOSUTELY AMAZING! She was so sweet throughout the whole process, totally got my style, was respectful of my budget, and was generally fun to talk too! She helped me take pictures so I could get opinions from my mom and sisters, and made the whole process feel seamless and natural. The 90 minutes flew by and at the end of it, I found my dress and some accessories!

I got my dress from Garnet and grace with Yessica. All my friends and family absolutely love the dress I picked. Yessica was extremely helpful and super sweet. She listened to what I was thinking for dress ideas and pulled out different dresses for me to try on, and she helped me figure out what I was looking for because I had no idea what I wanted. Other boutiques make you go through and pick out your own dress off of the rack, which can be overwhelming because they all look the same on a hanger. I really appreciate her giving me her honest opinions and not just trying to sell a dress.

I was helped by my girl Gabby, who is an absolute delight. She listens to your vision and the best part?She knows what you want before you even want it! Let me explain, I had told her I wanted a certain kind of dress and literally in her first 2 picks, I picked THE dress. Its funny because I was very iffy about it because of how it looked on the hanger. But Gabby assured me to try it on, and Im glad I did!It looked exactly what I had envisioned! Had a great experience looking for a dress and actually getting one the same day! Yessica was very helpful, easy and fun to work with! After helping me picking out the dress, she also graciously cleaned up the dress and made it ready to go. The boutique caries a lot of different dresses, with different price ranges and available to pick up the same day!

Loved coming here to find my dress! My stylist, Gabby, was personable and friendly-- I felt like shopping with one of my girlfriends rather than someone I just briefly talked to for 5 minutes before trying on dresses. The prices here also cant be beat. Yes, its off the rack but they take care of all the dresses very well and are willing to fix any little snag for free. The dress I ended up with was only $600 (on sale) which left me with a lot of savings that went toward other things for my wedding. Ive been recommending this place and Gabby to a lot of my other friends who are engaged and they loved their experience here as well even if they didnt end up buying a dress here.

I have tried on over 60 dresses in the last 6 months at a wide array of traditional boutiques and just haven’t found anything special, unique, or quite frankly me. If you can request Gabby to help you look for/try on wedding dresses, you should. She was very helpful, patient, mindful of budget, and had a great sense of humor. She made the process fun and comfortable. Garnet and Grace was my 2nd store on my 1st day of looking for dresses, and I certainly wasnt expecting to take one home that day, but I did! Two weeks later, I returned to buy another garment bag since my cat decided to urinate on it (thankfully I found out early and my dress was not affected), and Gabby did not charge me for it. That was really awesome and nice of her. Highly recommend Garnet and Grace!

The best decision my fiancee and I made so far with wedding planning was shopping at Garnet and Grace for our wedding dresses. I had the pleasure of working with Gabby while my fiancee worked with Yessica. Gabby was my stylist and I’m so glad we got paired up! Her personality is so inviting. From the start of my appointment all the way through to the end I walked out with my bridesmaids saying how helpful, easy and fun she made the whole dress process - because it can and it will be stressful trying on several dresses. Garnet + Grace was the third dress shop I went to and by the end of the day I had tried on almost 20 dresses. At the first two shops I thought I found a style that I was sold on and kept going back to a previous dress I had tired on. Then Gabby pulled out a different style for me to try on that I actually said I wasn’t in to BUT I tried it on anyways and fell. in. love. “I found the gown at Garnet + Grace.” Going off of Pinterest and pictures of dress styles you like really doesn’t do other dresses justice. You gotta try them all girl! And that’s what Gabby helped me with. Because the dress I chose at Garnet + Grace was the very last one I tried on that day and literally the first and only of its style I didn’t want to regret not trying on more of that same style. I ended up saying my final yes to another dress at a different shop - but I would’ve never got to this point if Gabby was looking out for me and my best interest. So I technically said yes to the dress twice. However, I did get my bridal accessories at Garnet + Grace with Gabby and she even made that appointment a breeze! I walked into my appointment hoping I would find my wedding dress. Kennedy was my stylist... he was very professional, honest, and insightful. I told him what I liked (and didnt like) and he was able to bring me exactly what I was looking for. My daughter made an appointment At Garnet + Grace because her friends sister-in-law said she had a great experience and found her wedding dress there. We were greeted when we arrived by Kennedy, who also happened to be the stylist for our appointment. I loved his attention to detail and candid approach towards the dress selection he brought to my daughter to try on. I think she tried on 8-10 dresses, with and without vails, straps, shoes, bridal belts, and blushers all to give her the full experience and capture the look she envisioned. My daughter did find a beautiful dress and I want to thank Kennedy for being so welcoming, patient, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

I had a great experience at Garnet + grace Boutique! The shop is small but mighty, they have a lot in stock and tons of variety. I worked with Kennedy, and he was able to pick up on my style almost immediately and pull some amazing dresses. I came into the Boutique with a dress to beat, in my head and even though I had great service and exposure to new dresses, I realized that my dress was at another salon.

They were super sweet on the phone and said it was fine (there was no one else during that time frame).Day of: From the very beginning I felt so welcomed. They had a list of names of all the brides coming in for the day. They also had a cute section in the back corner for me and my girls. Rachel asked me questions prior to pulling dresses and DELIVERED from the very first one. With tears in everyones eyes, one of my gfs even shouted out give this girl a raise!!. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time and made me laugh with her unintentional Mario impressions whenever she helped me out of a dress, here we go!. After dress 4, my MOH showed her a picture from my Pinterest board and Rachel pulled THE ONE. & it was under budget. I was speechless (and a little buzzed) I cried my eyelashes off and said yes. I just want to say thank you again to Rachel and the team for making such a big moment in my life feel so incredibly special. I highly recommend trying out Garnet & Grace. Yessica was the absolute best! A super professional that helped me in a way that no one else had which is why I walked in and bought a dress and walked out within an hour. She took the time to get to know my style and then recommended things and waited to see how I liked them without pushing her opinion on me. I appreciated that and thats exactly why I loved her. The store itself is great as well. Clean with a huge selection. I visited other bridal boutique stores and I knew when I walked in to Garnet and Grace that Id be walking out with THE one.

I found my gown at garnet and grace!! Megan is super nice, patient, not pushy at all and she makes suggestions which every bride needs when finding her perfect dress. She pulled different styles for me to try and she is super easy to work. I have gone to other bridal shops and had horrible experiences and werent impressed by the staff or dresses but Megan has been absolutely wonderful!! Unlike the other shops I have been to, Megan took her time with me and even had an initial meeting to go over styles I like before picking dresses for me to try on. As for the shop, it really is a hidden gem! My mom told me about it when she was getting her nails next door and I went to go check it out for myself. Its a cute boutique with big dressing rooms, nice lighting, and I love the way they display their dresses. Very organized! Their dresses are beautiful and a steal! This place used to be a dollar store and was dark and dingy but WOW it is bright and industrial looking now. A modern bridal boutique. They open this weekend but I got a tour from Megan, which was super sweet of her. They sell designer wedding dresses all off the rack at discount prices, which is awesome since other Bay area stores can be crazy expensive. I saw tons of lace wedding dresses for 1200 and under, plus she explained that they have a payment plan. SUCH pretty dresses! Check them out!

The staff made sure that my guests and I were taken care of right when we walked in the door. We had help every step of the way.The selection of dresses are to die for! I have never fallen in love with so many dresses in a matter of minutes. All the dresses I tried on were so beautiful that I was tempted to get a second dress!Needless to say, I found my perfect wedding dress within a matter of minutes! I cancelled the second place right away.Thank you everyone at G&G! I would recommend this boutique to all my friends.

Everyone told me I wouldn’t find my dress at the first attempt but I did! Cannot recommend garnet and grace enough — especially Yessica! She made the experience so fun and made me feel so special ☺️I was so worried about shopping for a dress, I’m very tall and was worried I’d have an experience similar to when I shop for clothes. This was completely different! Yessica did such a great job helping me dial in on styles that both flattered my figure and fit my style! I felt so beautiful and validated!The prices are reasonable, the dresses are beautiful, and the service is beyond amazing. Make this your first and probably final stop for dress shopping 😄

I went in to try on dresses on Feb 1, 2020. It was a last minute spontaneous appointment and I decided to bring my 2 neighbors instead of my crew given that 1) It was too last minute to invite anyone else 2) I needed an unbiased crew to come with me. I had already gone to 5 locations and tried on close to 20 dresses. I was starting to get confused but as soon as I walked into G+G Bridal Boutique, Gabby Hill (My stylist) made it a point to listen to MY needs, MY vision and made it her goal to help me find MY DRESS. She was very selective of what she chose for me and as soon as I tried on dress #1, we both new it was a special one. I tried on about 5 more dresses and eventually had to go back to #1 because I could not stop eyeing it. I got really emotional and it was a bit hard to make a decision without my crew but I KNEW it was the one so I knew I had to say Yes to the dress. Gabby made it really easy because she mentioned that we could schedule a dress reveal with my family and that is exactly what we did. The dress reveal was SO perfect and I am extremely thankful to Gabby for making this experience so beautiful.Ps. My dress was also only $1500 which was definitely under my budget! #bestfeeling

GARNET and grace is a bright and inviting new bridal boutique in the industrial area of Hayward. The store manager, Megan, showed me a selection of designer dresses at a very affordable prices without being too pushy. It seems this place has a dress for every type of bride.

Had the opportunity to explore the great selection of dresses this boutique carries and OMG!!!! They have a great selection of beautiful dresses and the prices are by far the best Ive seen. Also the staff is super sweet. Megan was so pleasant and helpful with matching a dress with the image i described in my mind. I would recommend this beautiful bridal store to any bride-to-be. I love Garnet and Grace! I thought that dress shopping would be more stressful than it was. Yessica was awesome! She asked me questions and knew exactly what dresses to choose. Yessica was so patient when I asked to try dresses that clearly werent for me but just to get the idea out of my head. I found the dress on the third try! I fell in love with it. The concept is well thought out and turns the whole experience of shopping for a wedding dress on its head. Going to a traditional bridal gown salon means trying on gowns that might be a little tired after being handled by multiple people; waiting months to receive a gown (and heaven forbid they send the wrong size or are late); and finally, buying at full price (gasp!) If youre not that bride that has to have the latest and greatest or you have your heart set on the gown you saw in this months edition of Brides (do they still publish that magazine?), check out G&G. You circumvent this entire stressful process when youre able to land the perfect gown. You buy straight off the rack, so you get to secure your gown right on the spot. The experience is elevated 10 fold if you book a VIB experience complete with champagne (or non-alcoholic cider) and cookies for your group of up to five guests and secure a spot with Yessica or one of their other senior stylists. I loved working with Yessica. She is SOOOO patient and fun! Shes also very intuitive, taking in your vibes through a previously shared Pinterest board, as well as the trying-on process to guide you in the right direction. I ended up choosing a dress that Yessica pulled for me in the first round (we went through two rounds of dress pulls.) So give these folks a try. Theyve got a big inventory in a vast range of sizes. I had an amazing experience at Garnet and Grace thanks to Yessica! I booked my appointment online and answered a few questions, for example: pant size, dress budget, silhouette, neckline, and embellishments.Its crazy to think I came in wanting a certain type of dress and left with a totally different style. Yessica helped guide me and was incredibly patient. At first, I asked for a particular silhouette and embellishments and even though it was exactly what I asked for, I just wasnt in love with it. We even tried different sleeves, belts, and veils to see if it changed how I felt about the big picture. I couldnt figure out why I didnt like the dress even though it had all the details I asked for.I became a little discouraged and thought I wouldnt find my dress that day but thanks to Yessicas encouragement and assistance, I did find MY DRESS! Also, whats great about the boutique is you get to take home your dress the same day! Im grateful Yessica made me feel comfortable and was patient; I didnt feel pressured for time and she was so kind and understanding throughout the entire appointment. Thank you, Yessica, for your expertise and sweet personality! I appreciate all your help!

My fiancée and I had a fantastic time at Garnet and Grace! We are two brides both searching for dresses and wanted to make sure that they complimented each other, however we still wanted to keep the surprise reveal until our wedding day. We reached out to some other salons who said itd be best if we did back to back appointments, however the ladies at Garnet and Grace were stoked on the idea of having us both at the same time and we are so grateful to them for giving us this moment.With some Macgyver skills they rigged the middle dressing room curtain to create a partition and put my fiancée and I in the farthest changing rooms. It was the smallest touch, but it made me realize how serious and caring they were about our mission of not glancing a sneak peek of each other.We came to the appointment and got to sit with our consultants Gabby & Yessica to go over the feel of the wedding and some logistics (time and date of ceremony, location, etc.) From there we split up and I talked with Yessica about my dress and what I was looking for. She walked me through the different silhouettes, styles, and asked me what I felt comfortable in. What I appreciated the most is that Yessica walked me through so many small details I hadnt thought of (like how you could add a corset back to a dress if it was a size too small!) She helped alleviate so many fears about needing to find a dress that fit my Pinterest vision and instead going for the feeling of what was right on my body. After we tried on a few to determine what silhouette, fabric, and overall vibe I was leaning toward she pulled THE ONE and I fell in love with it.Im not sure what my fiancée ended up with, but Yessica and Gabby were both incredibly excited over the synchronization of our gowns! We had such a great time at the salon and so did our family. So grateful to Garnet and Grace, and I would highly recommend it to other brides looking for an off the rack gown and a fun experience. I have never purchased a gown before. Ive never been to prom or homecoming. Needless to say I was very nervous that the first time I was going to wear a big, beautiful dress was for my wedding! I had never gone dress shopping like this before so I had no idea what to expect or what to do. I signed up and was assigned to the consultant, Yessica. She is actually someone I had went to middle school with! She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She reached out after my appointment was made and said I could send her any inspiration pictures and she would be looking at my Instagram page for ideas. As my appointment was coming closer, she was always very reliable and friendly every time I had a question. I even told her that I wanted to keep my budget a secret from my family. She respected my request to only reveal prices to myself.When I arrived at Garnet and Grace, I was immediately greeted with a smile and some drinks! I had purchased the VIB upgrade for my group. She was very nice and told me not to worry about anything. When the rest of my group arrived, she was just as friendly to them.I was very nervous about trying on dresses with a consultant! I have never really changed in front of anyone before. Yessica made me feel so comfortable that I really didnt feel awkward. She talked to me the whole time so I didnt feel like someone was watching me change. She asked me what I wanted in a dress but also brought me dresses that I would have never tried on myself. I thought I was dead set on an A-Line! She wanted to show me dresses with different silhouettes so I can actually see what I like. I ended up leaving with a completely different dress than I had in mind!She took my comments in consideration when I was telling her what I liked/didnt like in the dresses. Honestly, even if I did not like the dress, Yessica always made me feel absolutely beautiful in them.I wasnt pressured to buy a dress or an accessory. Yessica did not feel like a salesperson, just trying to put me in the most expensive dress she can find. She was respectful of my budget and even showed me dresses way below it. She felt like another Bridesmaid cheering me on!In the end, I walked out with the very first dress I ever put on! Yessica was encouraging every step of the way and made me feel so beautiful. I know that I will not have to worry on my wedding day because she helped me find MY perfect dress.I would recommend Yessica and Garnet and Grace through and through.

Garnet + Grace is near Lavender Nail Salon; there is a Starbucks within the same plaza. This was the second shop I visited when wedding dress shopping. Its recommended to schedule an appointment beforehand if you plan to visit on a weekend because they can book quickly. You can easily book your appointment online and youll receive a confirmation phone call by Meghan (store owner). During the phone confirmation, Meghan will ask a few questions about what youre looking for to get a better understanding of your style and what your budget is. She is VERY mindful of your budget.This is a boutique store and its an off-the-rack type of dresses. But there is a huge selection of dresses, some starting from $299 to over $1,000. My experience with Meghan was amazing. At the beginning of my appointment, she explained how the store works. She let me look around at dresses I wanted to try on, and pulled out a few more for me to try on. Meghan made me feel so comfortable and provided her honest opinion to each dress I tried on. I loved that Meghan didnt seem pushy and allowed me to express how I felt in each dress. She orders dresses maybe once a month or so. I went at the beginning of February, and she suggested to come back around mid-March for new dresses. I even overheard her give another bride recommendations to another bridal shop since the bride didnt find what she was looking for. Meghan genuinely cares about everyone that walks into her store. When I found my dress, Meghan jacked me up and suggested where to go in the store to see how my dress looked in natural lighting.The parking lot can get filled quickly! Be sure to arrive a few minutes early just in case. There are a couple of parking spots reserved for Garnet + Grace. If you follow Garnet + Grace on Facebook and Instagram, youll see when they have special deals in-store too. If you purchase your dress on your first appointment, you can get $200 off. There options for when you to preserve your dress and Meghan has recommended seamstresses that seems to be budget friendly.I highly recommend any brides looking for their dress to check out Garnet + Grace!

Sometimes you walk into a store just expecting to be a normal customer. Looking to find that special piece or dress for your wedding. I just happen to walk in Garnet +Grace to see if I could find a veil that would fit my wedding dress and was the style and look I wanted to achieve. As most of you know when you start search for certain thing, certain ads start popping up. I happened to be on Facebook and their ad just kept popping up. I kept telling myself once Im in the area to stop by and look. Im on a very tight budget and have already postponed our original wedding date because my fiancee had lost his job. And Im willing to make it work on my pay alone to just have a simple hotel DIY wedding that we were already locked into or risk losing all the money we currently have deposited because we are financial bond by our contract.As I was trying on veils and looking and see what would fit that I liked and was also in my budget, the owner ( Unbeknownst to me) because Im just looking and browsing to see what I can really afford or if I would wind up making my own veil. Started asking me questions like what kind of dress did have? what kind of veil was I looking for? And i was explaining to her that i was looking for something simple, but also I wanted it to have some sparkle or bling, not lace but more rhinestone look. She had what I was looking for but it was damaged. I really did like it and it was what I was looking for. I took a picture and sent it off to my mom asking if it could be repaired! And unfortunately it cant.The owner did something for me that I never expected at all and I really do appreciate it. Yessica and her staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this bridal bouquet and especially for those on a budget. Prices are very reasonable and I cant wait to go back for Accessories.This was a blessing in disguise and I am forever thankful. Sometimes you never know who, what or where Gods Blessing will come from. This will be one piece I cant wait to Pay it forward with!

I stumpled upon Garnet and Grace with my sister while on my lunch at a nearby restaurant. I noticed it was a bridal boutique and just thought I wonder what they have in here since I am getting married October 2018. We were greeted by Megan and she was extremely nice and accomodating. She was able to get us in later that day to try some dresses on. They offer a great selection of high quality dresses and well known designers for an amazing price! Although I did not find my dress here, I did find a veil I fell in love with. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves while working with Megan. We had lots of laughs and she definately helped to make it special.
