Its a small thing, sure, but it shows great attention to detail... Ive put window tint on each car Ive owned over the years so I know not to roll down the windows for a few days.. However, sometimes you forget, or your spouse or kids forget and they do it to a fresh tint, which can cause some issues.. This is literally the first time Ive ever had a shop put these great reminder tape strips on the window buttons (on all four doors)... Yes, the tint looks great, and their pricing was excellent (they have entry-level tint, plus the higher end tint options too). I was just surprised to see the DO NOT ROLL DOWN tape when I got my car back-- Kudos to the team at Autohaus!

We get tinting done here, really helpful and knowledgeable service. Very nice and accommodating.

A few weeks ago, I was referred to Autohaus to order a factory amp upgrade for my 2020 X3. Joe was awesome in explaining what to expect, how long the job would take to complete etc. He also suggested that I emailed a playing list so that the tuner tech would be able to adjust the sound based on my music tastes (which is very diverse). Folks, if you truly value your listening experience, I say this step is necessary. You need to consider the dynamic range of the music you enjoy listening to!The upgrade went well and I was pleased. Joe explained that he felt we could get more from the under seat subs (aftermarket) to open up the sound by adding an additional piece which was relatively inexpensive, but I should see how I felt for a few weeks and let him know if I wanted to go ahead with the additional piece (sorry, I cant remember what it is). Im somewhat of a sound geek and completely agreed with his assessment after a few days and had him order the piece and booked an appointment (it was yesterday).All I can say is WOW! Totally opened up the sound stage in my car! The tuner, Dan, did a phenomenal job placing the module (completely invisible) and retuned the system. When Joe explained the operation of the module and I started to listen to my music, I was simply floored. So much so, in fact, that I sat in my car for about an hour listening to music after I got home.Without a doubt, Autohaus is the place to go if your music listening experience is important to you.

I consider this shop the best in the Bay Area, because when it comes toprofessionalism in service and parts this is IT. You will be wasting to yourmoney and time in others shop. Ever since I came here over 10 years ago and done services over a big number of cars, and had not problems with anything, which makes this shop unique. The gentlemen who work at the main desk which is Matthew and Rich are a great team, because these guys will make sure that when drive out of this shop you are completely 100% satisfy. Their response time is very quick. If you need a quote, they’ll let you know exactly how much it will be.They took about 3 hours to install my backup camera. I love it because it has so many things that comes with it. Instead of buying a new car with a back up camera, i just decided it would be a better idea to invest in this. It saves more money and I’m really happy with the outcome.

I am writing this feedback in regards to our experiences with Autohaus Automotive Solutions at the 21650 Mission Blvd. location. Back on Dec. 18, 2019, that was our first visit to this shop. The sales person was being helpful in explaining everything to us. To begin with, we know nothing about stereo or wiring a dash camera. We went there because the dash camera stays on at all time when we have the electricity plugged into the cigarette lighter. So, we did a little research ourseleves that we had to hard wire it to something else than the cigarette lighter. So, we went to Autohaus and they quickly knew what to do. Had us waited there for couple hours since they said they were busy. Everything worked when we walked out. My hasband was so happy that he ever brought our van there to install an amp and stereo. Until that day when we were driving in the rain, we noticed the dash camera did not turned on. We called in Autohaus the next day to make in an appointment but they did not have availibility until a week after. On the day of the appointment, (it was not a raining day) the dash camera came back up as usual. So, we did not bother to go to the appointment because we had 2 babies and its COVID-19. All of the sudden, the dash camera did not even turn on at all starting last week. Therefore, we called the store and tried to have you guys take a look. The store manager Richard did not even bother to help but he just said. You can bring in the car but I will have to charge you $125 to inspect it. Yet, if its not the wiring problem, why the same dash camera is able to turn on and function when I switch it to another car? I do not think it is fair when you guys do not even take the effort to inspect it before wanting to charge us another $125. To begin with, we already told you that the dash camera does not turn on at a rainny day and thats very strange. Also, how often do we get the rain in Hayward CA? Not to mention that we do not drive the work truck daily because it is definitely not a comfortable car. When we use the same camera on a different power source and it worked?! Please make the judgement yourself before going there!!!!!!

I made a visit to Autohaus to initially add to my security system on my vehicle, but also got the premium film covering as well. They guys were all great. Go check out Autohaus. Their displays are state of the art...top notch! Everything is very clean and Matt is very knowledgeable when it comes to 12 volt. I purchased a full Alpine Type X sound system for my Denali. Everything came out perfect and it looks like nothing was done but sounds amazing. They are willing to work with any budget and dont cut any corners unlike other shops. Seriously, go check out their displays.

I took my car to a few different places to get quotes and found that Autohaus had the best price. I was in a hard spot financially but these guys took care of me and hooked me up with a great finance program. Manny was amazing and I felt confident in my decision working with this family owed company.

The quality of work for the bed liner was great, but I noticed minor scratches in my paint on the side of my truck. Also, I did not know or was told that they drove my truck from Gilroy, CA to Hayward, CA (approx. 60 miles each way, 120 miles round trip) instead of putting it on a truck. Since I had the dealership I bought the truck from throw in the bed liner for free as part of the deal, I had very little involvement on the whole process and neither party told me. They also did not refill my gas tank. Very unprofessional way of doing business in my opinion.Update: The company contacted me shortly after I posted my review to discuss the issues. They sincerely took my feedback, sent me a $50 gift card for gas compensation, and did NOT ask me to change my review. I increased my rating as a result of this call by one star.

I just got my license and my mom prepaid for me to get my windows tinted at Autohaus. I was a little nervous going by myself but the staff made me feel very comfortable. They were all very friendly. I love my tint and will definitely refer all my friends. Thank you!

I have a 2010 Compass and got leather seats a few weeks ago. Wow!! Why did I wait so long? It looks like a brand new car and I dont flip-out when my son spills his drink. I just wipe it clean with no stains. I also have an upcoming appointment for an alarm system. I normally dont write reviews but had to because Im so in love with my car again. Michelle was very friendly every time I called and Rich/Matthew helped me with my leather. Thank you to an awesome business. 6 Stars for sure.

I would highly recommend this shop. They have all your wants and do professional work. We just had a backup camera and front/rear parking sensors installed on our new Mercedez. We couldnt be more happy and look forward to adding other accessories onto my husbands work truck.

These guys are great. Went there to price a head unit and sub, ended out walking with a set that I couldnt pass up. They will work with you on price, and tell you the truth about any set up. Yea, you can go across the street to get something about the same cheaper, but IT WILL NOT SOUND THE SAME. You get what you pay for. They do great clean, work.

AutoHaus has been at this same location for nearly 40 years, and has been used as the go-to company by countless auto dealers for customizing new vehicles for sale and doing repairs on used vehicles that need some TLC before resale. I was an Internet Sales Manager at Hayward Toyota and saw many vehicles that they customized - ranging from a simple car alarm to Direct TV in your SUV with the ability to watch live TV, play a DVD movie and play on a Playstation all at the same time on multiple screens.They know what they are doing and have decades of experience - how many others can say that?

I am a Finance MGR at HilltopFord Kia and this morning I got a phone call from a customer that purchase a car from us back in 2014 she also purchase a Guide point unit that got installed but she did not activate it. The customers car got stolen this morning she called guide point they asked her for her ESN number which she didnt have so she called us and we called AutoHaus automotive (Rich) who in turn called Guide Point and they was able to activate the unit after almost 4 years and recovered the car. GREAT JOB GUYS JOB WELL DONE.

We needed to have the sunroof replaced on our old truck after it had leaked, rusted, and then flown off on the road. It was an expensive fix but the customer service and communication was excellent.

I told the guy at the counter that I saw their ad in the pennysaver, and he went balistic claiming they would never advertise in that publication, like they were too classy for that. I asked them if they sold an alarm system for my truck and they tried to sell me one for 500 bucks. So, I left and went to the car audio depot at 16910 Mission and got one installed for less than $150 bucks and nobody snooty. Stay away from autuhaus they are too pricey.

The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service and craftsmanship EVER! Went to this place for a deck and custom box for my 06 Chevy Silverado. They didnt screw the box down under the seats. The amp wasnt adjusted or bolted down. Called them and told management about the whole waste of my time and my unhappiness. Told me to make an appointment!!! An appointment to fix the crap they made! Needless to say DO NOT BUY OR GET ANYTHING SERVICED BY THESE UNPROFESSIONALS!!!
