I went in and bought the steak buy one get one free.this is the third time I got the steaks.each time the meat is nice and red and looks beautiful but when I get out the package it smells like its rotten and theres lots of fat and knuckle.ill never be back

I am so happy I visited this grocery store. It is impeccably clean. It will be my go to when I just need a couple things and dont want to endure the big store. My produce was very fresh. What a gem!!!

Very overpriced in my opinion. But it is close so convenient. They keep the store very clean and organized. They don’t ever seem to open on time though. I’ve gone at 9 multiple times snd end up leaving because no one is there to open.

First time visiting and was pleased at meat prices, and how fresh the ground beef was. Most of the food is done in house as well as grounding the beef with no additives. Also the chicken comes in on ice, not frozen solid. Which is a plus for our family. I like to shop around for my huge family and this will be a regular destination each month

Picked up some steaks, it looked like they put some meat together and called them steaks, NOTThey were horrible. Garbage, Garbage, Garbage.

I would highly recommend this store. They have a nice selection of meat and poultry products as well as all the basics you might need for your pantry. You can also avoid the long lines at the bigger stores. I have found them to be very accommodating.

Love this little store! Been shopping here for 29 years. Great meat counter and little extras you need for a quick in and out. Everyone is kind and great conversation like we used to have back in the day. May pay a few cents more for a few things but is worth it to keep them around. They even helped me carry my groceries to my car. !!!

This place has really good fresh meat. Its also a good place to pick up cold beer or bottles of wine. However, the prices for many grocery items will be cheaper at a larger chain store because the store is built more on convenience. But the food center has a really good meat package where you pay about $80 to get a whole mess of fresh meat.

I love this store. They have really good quality meat. They sell fresh produce and alot of dry goods for people and pets. They carry essential baby needs. They also have a freezer and fridge section. These are the guys that remember who you are no matter how long ago you were last in there.

Very disappointed I chose to shop here and have you ask us to come back telling me you would have meat bundle for us. Four times we came back no one to cut the meat. Then, we come.back when you say and You sell out by time we come back and ask to wait again. Till Monday... I did all.of my shopping here. Never again.

I have stopped this store for 35 years....they have EVERY thing I need Not to mention how they have helped the community all those years and I speak from experience when I was extremely ill and couldnt work they made sure me and my son never went hungry. God bless the store and the owners

This is a strange store, they definitely have a LOT of animal items! Like a whole row! Which is a lot considering there are only like 5 rows total! I have noticed quite a few items expired, so check the dates! They are nice enough, just a limited selection.

Words can barely begin to express how much I love this store! If they dont have something I want, theyll get it. Theyll great you by name as you walk in the door, and youll never find friendlier service. Especially from that chain grocery store down the road which I refuse to ever go back to.

I was in there yesterday, the employee working the register did not wear a mask. This is the most critical person in your store who needs to wear it. They come in contact with every person that comes in and out of your store. He did put the mask on when I requested but I SHOULD NOT HAVE had to ask him to do the right thing.

I buy 2 meat bundles for $160, and get a big pack of paper towel and a big pack of toilet paper, FREE! 1 bundle for $79.99, you choose TP or paper towel!!! BEST DEAL in town! Lasts us all month! (except the toilet paper)But this is a hell of a deal!!!!

Great little grocery store with excellent prices. They are very helpful and will even help you shop for groceries. The guy thats dressed like a coach who works there is very nice, but he knows nothing about sports.

Great people running a great store! Its not the biggest, its not the nicest looking store around, but the people there will lend a helping hand in any situation they can! I always make sure that I go there when it comes to buying things for my kids. The man Ive always dealt with always gives me a great deal and usually throws in a few packs of diapers and wipes for free for my two yr old & now for my 3 month old as well, what store does that, right?!? Hazel Park Food Center, thats who! Very caring employees/owners! & if youre shopping for WIC there, he will always make sure to give you some free diapers, cause thats how they work! I use to like coming here because of the meat bundles & the free pack of diapers if you bought most of your wic items. My 2 most recent experiences make me not want to go back. A couple weeks ago I bought a meat bundle, been sick ever since. The steak was bad and smelled weird, I get really bad stomach cramps and throw up if I eat pork chops from there. Last night my bf stopped in to get some fruits veggies with our wic card, the redskin potatoes were green on the inside, & my sons grapes are molded and covered with brown spots. When I pulled the rest of the meat bundle out of my freezer to check it I realized all the meat they gave me was already at its sell by date. That is disgusting in my opinion.

Im new to the area and looking for alternatives to the big corporate box stores. I think the prices are very fair. I will happily return for the things I need and they carry. Only drawback is when you shop small the selection isnt as big as the big box Corporate places but thats a sacrifice Im willing to make.

Ive been going here since i was a child and srill love to go there todat. Not only is the staff amazing they really try to help out families with WIC, especially by offering free diapers and wipes when you use a certain amount of your WIC. I would recommend them to anyone.

Its not a large grocery store so they dont have a large variety of items, but its never crowded and its great for a quick stop if you just need to grab a few basics and dont want to deal with long lines or busy aisles.

It was so crowded I could hardly walk through the isles, the employees were gossiping about other workers and stood in the way when you were trying to walk. I ended up leaving without finishing shopping.

How come no one answers the phone?????? I bought some items there and cigarettes . But when i got home the cigarettes were not in the bag. Tried calling them ALOT and no answer. What sucks is that i was already home pajamas and everything before i realized they were not there. And yes i should of checked my bags when i got home. But dam i was tired from a long shift and just wanted to get out of my work clothes. I will always shop there but DAM.....ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
