My friend Ruth Wright (age 81) recently took her car to Firestone for servicing and was extremely happy with everything at Firestone. Rachael was very professional, cordial, informative, attentive and helpful, sincerely answering any and all questions Ruthie had. The service was very quick and clean. They gave Ruthie very detailed papers explaining what they did and what they recommend in the future. Ruthie is now a solid customer of Firestone and recommends Firestone to everyone!

I moved to the area 6 years ago and got my 1st oil change here not long after...and here I sit today, 6 years later, getting my oil changed once again. I also bought 4 tires here and a year later ran over a nail and they replaced my tire on the spot. Ive had my tires rotated here, alignment and inspection done here as well and they are always accommodating and courteous and Ive always been pleased with all aspects of service here. Highly recommend!

Firestone did a good job putting on new tires for me. The alweather tires I got make me feel safe for this winter.

I take my automobile to Firestone for my oil changes and such and theyve always been efficient and proficient.

Flatted. AAA dragged their feet. Pauls towing had a driver with a great sense of humor and patience as I tried to pry my tire nuts off (to no avail). The service at the end of the day was spectacular. Friendly, talkative, and relatable folk. Ill be back for any tire maintenance needs!

I went to Firestone last fall (2020) to get my air conditioning fixed. They told me it was the compressor and changed it out. Immediately after changing it, I had no cold air in my car at all and they wanted to run tests on it to figure out what was wrong. I took it to a different local shop to get a second opinion and nothing else was wrong besides the compressor. Since it was getting cooler out, I had to wait to get it changed again until spring of this year (2021). When I brought it back, I called beforehand telling them I wanted to change out my compressor again since it was still under warranty and they told me to bring it in. So I bring it in, leave my car there for hours, for them to have me pick it up later on that day to tell me they did an AC check and wanted to charge me over 100 more dollars after I spent over $700 to get the original compressor put in that they knew was bad. I refused to pay the extra $100 to check to see that it was the compressor that I already knew. They set me up for another appointment, had my car there all day again, and said they changed the compressor again. It was semi-cold in my car, but they told me it wasnt charging fully, knowing again there was something wrong with the compressor again and refusing to do anything else with it. I dealt with the semi-cold air for about a month and a half until recently, when my air conditioning starting blowing hot air again. I took it to the other shop I went to before, since they were honest with me, and they told me that there was a leak somewhere. Today, they call me telling me that the compressor is leaking again. This is absolutely ridiculous. I think I was given a bad compressor in the first place on purpose to have me allow them to do an air conditioner check to see whats wrong with it since I am a young girl that would appear to not know anything about cars and make me spend more money there. I dont believe firestone even changed the compressor the second time, and if they did, they knew it was a bad compressor yet again. Ive been dealing with this issue with them for about a year now and I am disgusted with how they are dealing with the issues I bring up with them. To get more money out of me because I am young and female is unacceptable and sexist. I will not ever be returning here nor recommending anyone to go here. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and unhappy with the service. I am upset that I even trusted that I could go here and spent so much money on a compressor they knew was bad to begin with. If I could give a negative star rating, I would.

We love this Firestone!We’ve been going to it for years! The staff are friendly and competent. We drive a lot, so we always need oil changes and tire care. They always check our car before we leave and make recommendations but never over-sell.Chris, Rachael and Mike are three of my favorite people there, they are patient, helpful and caring we love them!

They repaired a leaking tire....it was a screw that I picked up a couple of days ago. They also did tire rotation to my Bridgestones. And I had a four wheel alignment. My work was done in 1 hour 7 minutes. Very timely. I was quite surprised because they were understaffed for the morning. I really like this place for their service and great staff. I recommend Hazleton Firestone.

I have been going to Firestone for years. I trust them to tell me the truth about my car- whether its good or bad news. They tell me what my car needs then allows me to make the decision without being pushy. Rachel is awesome! She always tries to help me with everything. Whenever Im unsure about something, I ask for her opinion. Whenever, I have a problem with my car, I know theyre going to fix it right!

Had to have a tire replaced here quickly after getting a flat on the highway. They were very professional, courteous, and quick. Rachel at this location is excellent and provides some of the best customer service weve ever seen!

Great service. Very friendly. Would be a 5 star if it were my car but it wasnt. Seems like they see the loaners come in and want to sell tires and everything. But I do understand that. Business is Business. I dont knock em for it, but at the same time I do... I would go here all the time if I were in the area more.

I usually take my car straight to the dealership. However I discovered I had a lump in my tire and really was concerned to drive with my kid like that especially because we would be driving out of state. Chris is just wonderful. He helped me get an appointment at another store. This weekend I had my oil changed and I have to tell you. Chris is such a professional I have not taken beeps back to the dealership. I’ll keep coming back to Firestone because the experience and customer service I’ve received is just exceptional.

My car would shake at 65+ mph I took it to two different places to get my wheels balanced and still had the shaking problem. I was ready to start replacing all front end suspension but decided to balance my wheels one more time so went to Firestone I got them balanced again, shaking and vibration all gone. Saved me hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Thank you

I have taken my two cars here for the simpler oil changes and tire rotation, vehicle alignment multiple times and as a Motörhead myself I can seriously recommend there work. Now I have never used there other services such as brake change/rotors or belt drive issued or other Numerous vehicles services they offer. I will definitely consider it when the time come. also great pricing on tires not a lot of variety but u can almost for sure you can find something for you and your needs.

I have confidence that my vehicle will be repaired and maintained properly.

I waited 2 hours for my oil change, but this is unusual. They are usually quicker. Personnel are friendly and knowledgable.

Bought a new tire had it installed “professionally “ by this place just to get home and be low on air, called the next day to make an appointment because i know they are busy, when i got there for my “appointment “ counter persons tells me it will be a long wait - what is the point of making an appointment ?Even worst to come to this place pay so much money for a tire and to not be working correctly.Take your money to small business there are many tire shops in Hazleton that do a great job .

Was there for 2 hours waiting just to check my tires . mind you I made an appointment so I can avoid the wait and they still made me wait 2 hours is ridiculous they need faster workers or hire more staff at that place .

Aside from having a tire allegedly fixed that still leaks, I requested an alignment and tire rotation. Didn’t receive any paperwork for the tolerances on the Alignment, so it’s debatable if that was even done. Also requested a tire rotation and considering the leaking tire is still in the same spot I think it’s safe to assume that that just wasn’t done even though it’s on the paperwork for the receipt.

Amazing service! I needed a tire changed ASAP and I called and spoke with Chris. He was very nice and told me to bring my car in. When I arrived I dealt with Chris again and he did everything he could to go over and beyond! I will definitely be back for all my future repairs!

Dont bother bringing your car to this place even if you set up a appointment to have it fix the some day they will push off the repair for the next day with out calling you back. I high recommend that you spend your money somewhere else.

ZERO STARS! I left my car at firestone for almost 2 weeks now. It’s still there and they’ve yet to communicate any information to me. Every time I call they say they’ll call me later with more information. I never get a call back. The staff here has shown the most unprofessional behavior always blaming someone else for why I haven’t been contacted. At the end of the day I’m just getting my time wasted by them. When I first dropped off my car it was supposed to be done by the end of the weekend. When I showed up Monday to get my car back they tell me that they haven’t started working on it and now it won’t even start. All I want is for them to give me my car back in working condition. Then I’ll take it somewhere where my situation can be dealt with more professionally.

Made an appointment on the phone for my transmission. They said the fluid is probably low. I go in for the appointment AND IM TOLD THEY DONT DO TRANSMISSIONS! THEYRE NOT CERTIFIED! THATS NOT WHAT THEY WERE TELLING ME ON THE PHONE! You know, when I made the appointment.. for my transmission...

They charged me for rotors in my 2020 inspection. I went to someone else for my 21 inspection. I need the same rotors replaced. These crooks didnt change them. Avoid these con artists.

What a joke. Scheduled an alignment days ago. Took off work to get it done. And I call today to verify and they say the guy had a family emergency and tried contacting me and left 2 messages which somehow I didnt get. But thanks for literally costing me a days pay.

If I could leave a minus star review I would. Made an APPOINTMENT for 5pm on October 16th, 2020. States on their website masks are mandatory which we liked. So, we get their 10 minutes before our appointment. We see 3 cars in their bays. Sitting and waiting someone comes in with no mask, no one says a word. Might as well take your sign off the door if you are not going to enforce the mandatory masking. So, it is now an hour later and we are still sitting there. Not one person came out and said a word to us. Running a little late, we will be taking your vehicle in shortly, sorry for the delay........So we asked for our keys back and left. Why have customers make an appointment? It is useless. And I knew if I asked for the keys the first thing they would say is we are going to bring your vehicle in right now, sure enough, that is exactly what they said. No thank you! Will never go there again for anything.

I wouldnt think of taking my 1998 Nissan Altima to anywhere else but Firestone at Church Hill Mall, Hazleton. They do excellent work. The employees, Chris, Anthony, Jonathan, and Rachel arecthe best !

Ive come to this location for many a state inspection. This time Ive uped my game with an alignment and tire rotation on top of it. Of course something this time consuming, you make an appointment ahead of time. Bob is always great to B/S with. The others and the mechanics are just as good. I highly recommend this Auto Care Center from Firestone!

Took my car for an alignment and they totaled it. $4700 in damage, only willing to give me $2100 for the damage.without a car still. cant get to work, all cause i took it to firestone. wont even give me enough money to fix the damage they caused or buy a care of the same quality.

Terrific people. We found ourselves in a bind with a leaking tire. We had very little time and our Fathers funeral to get to. Of course being so far from home added to our stress. Chris and his staff did a wonderful job getting us on the road. Highly recommend their service!

When i first came in, it took 20 mins before someone came out to see what i needed and an additional 25 mins to make an appintment, which was at 4:00pm for a tire change. It is currently 6:14 and they havent even started working on my car. Theres no point in making an appointment at all. Save your time, go somewhere else.

I whole heartedly recommend the Firestone Complete Auto Care in Hazelton. I had a tire blow out in the late afternoon on a Saturday. The tow truck could not get me to the Firestone before they closed. The tow truck driver called ahead let them know we would be late and they took me after their normal closing hours. They didn’t have too and I would have been SOL.The staff was professional, warm, welcoming, accommodating, and congenial. I am grateful for their service and would return if need service ans happen to be in eastern PA.

Ive been using Firestone Complete Car Care in Hazleton for years. They never tried to sell me some service or product I didnt need. Plus there are usually coupons at their website that save me money. Looking at the big picture, they provide good service at a fair price. If for some reason you feel the need to shop around be sure to give them consideration. You too may find them worthy of your confidence.

Unprofessional interaction. Aggressive up-sell tactics for a simple oil change. They left a copy of the invoice UNDERNEATH the hood of the vehicle on top of the engine. I will not be returning to this garage my with personal vehicle OR any of my fleet vehicles.

Called this garage 3 hours before they were supposed to close, in need of a tire replacement because of a blow out. The non empathic person that took the call said a 15 minute job was too much for them to get to today, Id have to leave my car over night. I went to Jack Williams across the street, 20 minutes before they closed they understood we were about to get a shower storm expecting 8-9 inches of snow, had my car pulled in and ready to go within 15 minutes.

(They know what they are doing).The team listens carefully to your decires. I entered the store with two options (brake job, two rear tires) at the end of the day I was advised to get tires. after dropping vehicle off received a call asking ehy i thought i needed brakes. Things never change at this location. I show up Sunday morning at 9am for a tire rotation after showing up in store on Tuesday to schedule the service. Upon arrival I was notified I didnt have an appointment and would be forced to wait until I could be fit in, like I have nothing better to do on Sundays.All of this comes after 2 weeks prior I brought my daughter in for A/C work in which she was charged nearly 800$ for a vehicle that sat for days, had no updates of its status, and ultimately ended leaving that facility unfixed because of a faulty part they put in. Yet they wanted to charge her another 100$ for an engine diagnostic. A CVI was also purchased which they never completed. No tire rotation, no brake specs, no belt inspection, tires not inflated to proper psi, nothing, all after being paid for. (I know because I had the wheel lock key) Brought the vehicle to Luzerne Tire and identified and corrected the problem immediately and not for exuberant amounts of money.Save yourself the time, energy and money, go elsewhere where you wont be price gouged and lied to.

I took my car there to be fixed and inspected they did a wonderful job. They are very understanding. No problems.

Secondary automobile servicing, other than manufacturer, they have never failed me. Tires are much cheaper and service is more personal.

My appointment was for 11:30 am. They finally took my car in the garage at 1:30 PM. This was for 3 tires and an alignment. 2:30 PM it was finished where I missed my 2:30 appointment. I didnt even make it home and the weight came off the tire. The car was shaking in the steering real bad. The next day another weight came off. I was assured I would be refunded and the work would be redone at no charge. Had to make another appointment for 7 am and ask for Rachel the manager. I got there she dont come in till 10:30. They would not refund the money. I have the call recorded on a call record app. I was told I need to drive there a 3rd time to sit and wait till they fulfill there promise. I will be going back to get the money refunded. I suggest you look else where unless you have time to waste and money to throw away. Walmart has done a better job on tires and balancing...

Fast oil change service.

I had a puncture in my rear, drivers side tire. I went to my dealership and they were beyond booked and couldnt help me without an appointment. The sent me to Firestone. I came in, after 5pm, without and an appointment and explained my issue and they got me right in! Fixed my tire and at a reasonable price, and sent me on my way!! Thanks to Firestone, I am able to make it to work tomorrow instead of sitting at the dealership waiting for my tire to be repaired and probably being overcharged! Thank-you so much to all of the staff that helped me today! You will never know just how much I appreciate what you have done for me!

Everyone should have an opinion about Firestone. That said, personally I trust them to solve my automotive problem professionally and efficiently. Which for the most part they do. The staff is very helpful & will go out of their way to satisfy your needs.

The worst experience ever. I had to change my tires there and not mentioning waiting 6 hours the lady working there Rachel mixed up the size of the tires and they put the wrong ones. I didnt see them as it was really late and i had to leave in another city. After I checked next day I noticed the tires were the wrong size, I called them and they said come and we gonna give the money back and we gonna put the old tires. After going there they didnt apologize at all, they were rude, they said we cannot find your tires and cant take them back. I called the manager and he was worse than the lady, he was protecting her mistakes and after that I asked to put the right size and he said he didnt have them and I had to pay extra money for their mistake. So I didnt get my old tires back and I ended up with wrong size tires. Finally they dont care for customers satisfaction, they care only to take the money and lying to the people. I hope this reviews are read by Firestone because they are destroying their name. I would never recommend anybody to go in that place as its the worse place ever and my worst experience.

The service on my vehicle was good. The fit my car in in an emergency. Unfortunately, I left a tablet there and the fact that I live 3 hrs away from the shop made it difficult to go back to get it. We ask if they could send it C.O.D. to us and was told they absolutely could not do it. We even offered to give them our charge card to insure it and they still refused. Thats not good customer service.
