Ordered gift wine for deliveryMy friend lives in Hebron, CT. When she was discharged from the hospital, I wanted to send wine to her house. I looked at services through the internet. The mark up and delivery fees added so much to the price. Then I thought I would call a local package store. Chris at The Package Store selected 5 reasonably priced wines for me and delivered them for free within the hour. I could have never gotten this type of service from an internet site. What else can I say except BEER COOLER!!! The backroom beer cooler is always stocked with often hard to find IPAs, pale ales, porters, etc. from all around the state and Northeast. Thanks for keeping my fridge stocked with deliciousness!

I go home with a different craft IPA every visit. Owner and staff are fantastic and also well versed in there stock of craft beers. If your looking for a good selection and knowledgeable staff theres no better place.

The MOST eclectic selection of beers in a 40 mile range. I stop here anytime I am in the area (maybe 4 times a year) as its a distance from my normal romping grounds. I find the highest quality and selection here but I admit I have variable tastes..including an intense love for sours, porters, stouts, smoked, and fruited beers. Hard to find items here pretty regularly and the owner/purchaser gives a hoot about what they sell. Highly recommend. They also have wine, liquor etc.. But their beers make it my preferred packy...

Small / local hole in the wall which serves a purpose if you dont want to go the next town (or two) over for larger / better selection, and at more reasonable price points. That said, the employees have no manners whatsoever. This past weekend marked the 2nd occasion in the last couple of months where they were not only unhelpful but blatantly rude to my wife. I shake my head in disappointment but hey just another place that wont get our business ever again. Note for locals: the package store next to A1 has about the same from a selection point but a VASTLY improved staff who almost always go out of the way to hold open doors, load boxes into your car, and service with a welcomed hello from the get-go. The little things matter...

Great selection of everything, especially craft beer. My one gripe is the beer cooler is very cramped and isnt organized very well, but dont let that stop you from visiting if youre in the area.

For a small liquor store, it features a great selection of craft beers, as well as the brand names out there. Nice variety of red, white, blush wines.
