We went for a trail run at Gay city state park and on our way back we decided to stop at this cute little place.Location: very good, very minimal parking so you have to park at the library or other parking spots nearby.Staff is very good. Also lot of hand sanitizers around so felt very safe to eat outside.You can order ahead on their site which we didn’t know so we just went inside.You order and pay and then find any open table.I thought menu was extensive when we looked online but couldn’t find much af the store. There was a line behind so we didn’t want to take too much time as well so ordered whatever we saw first.We ordered the banana chocolate protein powder smoothie- very goodStrawberry banana smoothie- not that goodBelgian waffle - not goodBreakfast Bagel - very good

Delicious lattes with many flavors (Oreo Latte pictured below) . Great service and delicious food options that are very fairly priced. They always have new/creative ideas with their food. They have new specials every month. Highly recommend!

The wife was kind enough to surprise take-out (grab-n-go) for my birthday this year while we were out and about. My coffee was admittedly a bit bland (had to have been a goof as her order of the same had all the sugars / syrups and tasted completely different). That 1 gripe aside, the food was DELICIOUS, hit the spot, and again a nice surprise! Full disclosure: I ate half of her sandwich as a) it was THAT good, b) I felt it was warranted given the coffee goof, c) it was my birthday, and lastly d) they were really good :)

Great local cafe in town. The food taste extraordinary, the atmosphere is flawless. Would come more often if I needed somewhere close.UPDATE: Had to change the rating from 5 to 3. This place isn’t what it used to be. The sandwich portions are pretty small and overpriced. The staff they have now have gotten somewhat slow as I waited extra minutes for the food.

The first time I went to this cafe, it was late and slow and they were clearly getting to close up. Even though they were done for the day, they let us sit and chat quietly in the corner until they were ready to leave themselves. And they were friendly and kind the entire time!!I only hesitated to leave this review because if the whole world knew how awesome this place was, it would be packed constantly and it would lose the quiet, comfortable, hidden gem appeal I love about it. I will 100% be back!! ❤️

When I was a kid my mom would take me to this restaurant and the workers would watch me and my younger brother while she went to the bathroom. but they were so nice that they would always sneak me and my brother some chips. After we ate the chips my mom would order us some food. And till this day it has NEVER been bad. I give them 10 stars of I could:)

This casual eat-in or takeout cafe serves breakfast and lunch with healthier meals and specialty coffees, smoothies, and baked goods. Avoiding milk? No problem. Have almond or coconut milk instead. Lots of great drinks to try. Simple, fresh, delightful salads and sandwiches. Sit outside and eat on a nice day. More parking behind the building, there are only a few parking spots out front so keep that in mind.

Dont come here unless you plan on waiting 30 minutes only for them to screw up your order

Incredibly cozy place. Perfect choices for lunch for various diets. Sandwiches, soups, salads hard to choose. Pastries looked great. Nice selection of coffee, lattes, teas and smoothies.

This was our first time here and we had a lovely lunch of delicious butternut squash soup and my husband had a panini that he said was very good.The cafe is very quaint with a few outside tables. Service was very good, the ladies were very pleasant and ready to answer questions despite being busy at times.We sat outside in a nice shaded area overlooking the lovely main street through town.The cafe had a regular stream of customers, some visitors (like us) due to an event going on in town but it also looked like many were locals.Id recommend a visit and will try to come back again myself.

This is such a gem! Their regular menu is lovely and every month, they have new themed specials. Their specialty coffees, lattes, and teas are great, but my favourite thing is to stop by for lunch, grab whatever their drink of the day is (ice tea, apple cider, or something else depending on the season), and eat outside. They always have fresh fruit and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

A great small town coffee shop with delicious drinks and great food. A hot honey bun latte with skim milk is my go to drink and a wake up wrap is a perfect on the go breakfast. They even sell home made crafts and artwork from local artists!

I swear, this was the best cup of coffee i have had in years.I just asked for a black coffee to go, so their house roast whatever it is or was on March 16 th 2019 during the male festival is just tremendous. Heady aroma smooth finish not acidic.Bravo

What a great place all around. The employees are a lot of fun and aim to please. The food options are extensive and the coffee is always fresh and delicious. The porch is great place to sit with a friend and have lunch. I highly recommend Something Simple.

Nice place. Offers gluten free foods and some veggie meats. Very fresh local providers. Also, has conventional plates.

Food was good. Wish the prices had been on the menu board. Also more clear direction about clearing the table. We did it ourselves after finding the place for the dirty dishes.

Great little cafe! Been here a few times and each time the service is spectacular and the food gets better! If you like bagels, French Toast, soup, Paninis or a delicious beverage this sis the place to go. Not a lot of parking and you may have to wait, but the wait is definitely worth it. Support your local businesses and peruse the other offerings for sale here too!

Ah, cool almost cold this morning so I stopped in for a hot tea & oatmeal after my run on the rail trail. They suggested the pumpkin oatmeal which I got with craisins & walnuts. The tea was served in a large ceramic mug, with boiling water, the only way to make a good cup of tea & pumpkin oatmeal was hearty & delicious. Unlike one other reviewer, I was greeted with smiles & hellos from both the women working. It made for a wonderful morning!

The food here is great! Most of their food comes from Connecticut, from the chips to the sandwich, and its so good! Ive had multiple meals here, and they all were perfect. Nice place to eat if in Hebron Center or in the town in general.

Their specialty coffees are delicious, but unfortunately, the four or five times I have ordered coffees there in the past two years, I have found the customer service is unprofessional. I tried again today thinking the service would be better. No, it was still unprofessional.Here is at least one tip for the staff at Something Simple to improve your customer service skills: when a customer is ready to order at the counter, say hello, or I will be right with you, instead of ignoring the customer while completing another task right in front of the customer.

This place is admittedly owned by a friend of mine. There is a great small shop feel. The food and drinks are made in the store, and are very creatively made.

Not only does this place have amazing food, coffee, and service but you can trust every thing that comes from here is coming from fresh, and local sources. They are allergy friendly, health minded, and a small business that aims to support other small businesses. The branding, the ownership, and the food of this small town cafe is unbeatable.

The location was very cute and the food was good but nothing to write home about. If youre in the area, its a nice spot for a decent breakfast, but I wouldnt go out of my way for this destination.

I am not from this town but passing through I wanted something to eat. Its great place for a quick bite and tasty food. They have healthy options, but you are able to spoil yourself to some of their other treats. From good sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast coffee and amoothies they got it. You get a perfect serving over your food and always good to pay a little extra and support a local buisness. When I am in town I will deff come back!

Adorable atmosphere, cosy environment, friendly staff, and extremely convenient because they usually deliver your order to your table. Indoor and outdoor seating, though very limited parking and when lots of people are there its often hard to hear yourself speak inside the building. Disappointingly few vegetarian options and consistently disappointing quality for the few vegetarian dishes they do offer. Been there twice and havent been impressed with the quality or portion size of my or my friends food, though as previously mentioned, the atmosphere makes up for it.
