Super friendly staff and shuttle driver. I called this morning at 8:00 am to get my oil changed, I was in by 9:00 and had my car back by noon. They even found time to rotate the tires 😀

A week ago I scheduled oil change at 2:30 for today. Showed up on time but they didn’t get me in till 2:45. And still waiting for vehicle. 2:30 hours and counting just for scheduled oil change.
While some of the issues with my 2017 CRV were challenging, the service department worked with me and were very honest. Compared to other Honda dealerships these guys are awesome. I will always bring my car here for service or advise. Its 200 mile round trip but worth it.

WARNING ⚠️ be sure you understand the extended warranty. I just sold my car requested a refund for the extended warranty that I never used nor came close to using and I’m only getting a pro rated amount back instead of the full amount I should be getting back. This is something that should be talked about not not sign here sign here sign here and never gone over. Highly disappointed with service here. At least I was told about the “fine print” warranty at there dealership I went to outside of Montana!

Sales agent spent most of his time on his phone he wasn’t polite spent just about two hours there and left with no vehicle. Wish I could give them no stars. I do not recommend Helena motors.
Phenomenal. Tammy kept me informed every step of the way. Encouraged me take time to consult with my brother. Written information regarding every procedure with prioritization of said repair. I am satisfied with the service and trust their integrity. Shuttle service was invaluable. Tammy is personable, professional and proficient.
I did my research in looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle. I found several vehicles that I was interested in looking at. I went in with my list and was assisted by a nice sales person. I narrowed my search down to one vehicle. When it came time to talk numbers and financing, the car I had looked at and had been interested in was magically $4,000 more than what was listed on their website. I was undoubtedly frustrated with the situation. I spent time test driving and narrowing down my decision. Had I known the car I liked was out of my budget, I would have never considered it. I even discussed my budget with the salesperson while test driving the vehicle. He looked at the same vehicle on the website I did and never told me it wasnt the listed price on their website. I never once received an apology or asked how the situation could be rectified. Needless to say, I didnt buy the car and will take my business elsewhere.
I was visiting from out of town and needed to get an oil change before driving back home (over 600 miles away). I tried to schedule a last minute oil change at the Ford dealership but they were too busy to get my vehicle in. The woman scheduling the appointments told me the Honda dealership could get me in (owned by the same company) and asked if that would be alright. When I picked up my vehicle I found out that the Honda Service team had gone out of their way to work with the Ford Service team to do the service per my service agreement, which I totally wasn’t expecting.I’m not going to drive 600 miles one-way to have my vehicle serviced, but in this case, it might be worth the extra effort. Thank you, Helena Motors, I will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Appreciate the extra effort!
We were having some unexpected car troubles on our way to Helena on a Saturday, we went to Honda to see if they could help us out. They got us in right away!! They have a wonderful kids room that kept my kiddos busy while they worked on the car. Overall great service!

I’m not one to prefer going to a dealership for my vehicle, especially for service. Nor am I one for leaving a review for one. But this Honda dealership is a rare breed and deserves a 5 star positive review. They were extremely kind, courteous, and helpful. Informative and knowledgeable, accurate and precise.Besides being friendly, both Dennis’ in the parts department are quick and honest about accessing the right parts for my Honda Element and getting them to me as soon as possible. We went over what the problems were multiple times and ordered the parts for it, kindly and quickly. (Usually it’s one or the other, or neither.)Scott in service was also very kind and compassionate about helping with a simple issue that occurred while I was on the road, scheduled me right in, and didn’t break the bank to address it. He also expressed his concerns about making sure I was satisfied with the results which is rare and I am grateful for.And then there was Chuck, with a huge smile and great spirit, who was probably the kindest and knowledgeable service tech I’ve met in a long time. Not only was he extremely kind but he was also extremely knowledgeable, informative, and helpful, even with possible upcoming issues I might be facing. He was careful and concerned, which made me feel better. He was easy to talk to without making me feel belittled or condescended. I could tell he genuinely enjoys the work he does, which made me feel good talking to him about it. He was great to talk to, a joy to meet, and I was lucky to have him assigned to me.It feels good knowing that there is a “good” Honda dealership here in Helena that will be there if something comes up. I had a great experience at this location and the workers there have given me hope when it comes to taking my Honda to this dealership in particular for any kind of help.

I was very interested in a particular car and while I was waiting for the bank determination, the sales rep had already moved on to a new customer. He somehow found the time to tell me hed get in touch with me the following day. Another sales rep ended up selling the vehicle. Horrible customer service skills and obviously looking to only make a sale and move on to the next customer. Would not recommend to anyone.

I am very upset! I live 3 hours away from the dealership, so I was looking for minivans on the website. I fell in love with one. I had my own financial from my bank, but I wanted to see if I could get a lower interest rate to make the mo payments possible with my budget. the sales man I was speaking with over the phone came across helpful. he asked me for my info to see if it was a possibility to get me a better rate. I was VERY clear that I DID NOT want them to do a hard pull of my credit. needless to say they did, not only at the Honda dealership, but also passed my info to another lender who also did a hard hit! both without my permission. and in the end I still wasnt able to get the van, and now my credit score has gone down. I WOULD NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

Poor warranty coverage through dealer. On a 1 year old Honda Civic with 14,000 miles, they won’t cover anything if it isn’t power train related. On top of that, they take advantage of young women with minimal car experience. Would recommend avoiding them at all cost. Poor customer service, poor service, poor vehicle warranty.
We bought a used car from them around a month ago. Not only are we happy with our Subaru, but they went out of their way after the sale to refund me for some window parts sold with the car that werent needed. They were under no obligation to do this, yet they did it for me anyway. Thats what I call great customer service. Thanks Justin!
Called and talked to Justin Kelsey and filled out the financial app. He never called me so went down to the lot. Stood around for 20min and then he told me he didnt have time to talk to me or run my application, and then sent me to another dealership. Very rude, horrible service and a terrible salesman. I took his advice and purchased another car from a more professional dealership.

Not to mention being a repeated Honda owner for decades, Helena Honda ( service dept ) a nice bunch of people.
Purchased a 2-year old Honda from Helena Motors, and the car was great, until I felt something wrong with it.There was a slight shimmy, or shake, when driving on an inclined road cruising at a consistent speed. Im a car guru so immediately I knew something wasnt right.I took the the car to my local Honda dealer and they stated there was a motor mount that wasnt reading correctly... So, a bad motor mount. . . On a two year old car. . . That was a certified pre-owned vehicle.How is it that Helena Motors was conducted a XX point inspection, and not catch this? Im sure they hooked up to the vehicle obd connection to scan the vehicle to catch this mistake, but why didnt Helena Motors do this? Im extremely disappointed that they would not do a full check on the vehicle, a certified pre-owned vehicle, non-the-less. Of course I am not happy as I am having to spend more of MY time and money to go back and forth to another dealers service department to have this fixed. The car IS still covered under manufacturer warranty, which is great, but I shouldnt have to do this.Otherwise, our sales individual was nice, but like all car sales individuals, they rush just to make that penny. The entire process of the purchase was quick, and easy, and price wasnt too bad, even though Im now going back to a Honda dealer for service, already.Lastly, the dealership would not pay for the title to be transferred to another state. Ive never had to pay for such a thing in the past, and dont think I should start now. This is a dealer responsibility, and always has been from other dealers in the past.3-Stars: Why?The 3 stars are for the processes of purchasing a vehicle from them. quick and no hidden or additional fees. A majority of the staff are extremely friendly, and non-sales individuals are very personable.Otherwise, selling a vehicle with an easily found defect is NOT OK. Was an inspection not fully completed?I will post updates if needed.
I am from out of town and was traveling through Helena on a Sunday. My GMC Sierra chewed up a serpentine belt and left me and my family stranded on HWY 12 west of Helena. One of the Sales Managers at the dealership came and picked us up and helped get my three small children out of the heat. On Monday the Service staff was excellent about getting my truck repaired quickly so that we could continue traveling home. Great service department. Good people you can trust in the sales department. All around great place to do business.

I purchased a 13 Honda CRV from Helena Honda. I worked with Brandon and he couldnt have been more helpful. I did my research and was shopping around for the best deal I could find. Brandon knew my MO but told me to make the calls but give him the chance and hed find the best deal. I couldnt be more satisfied! I didnt have to deal with car salesmen calling me daily like other dealerships. Brandon even had someone pick me up in a nearby city and bring me to pick up my car. Ill definitely give Helena a call for my next Honda!
Was making a road trip to Helena from out of town and half way there (after checking the car was still available the day before and morning of before we left town) they called to tell me the car we were traveling to buy just sold - but they had other vehicles to look at. No thank you. If I was interested looking at just any vehicle I would stick to my local town instead of traveling a couple hundred miles to peak around at what they have. Very inconvenient and will not be looking at vehicles from this dealership again.
After looking all over Wyoming for the Buick I wanted, I found Jack King at Helena Auto Center and got exactly the vehicle Id wanted and the pricing I was looking for. It was definitely worth the drive and I would do it over again! Thank you!!!

The reason for this review is to let others know about the great experience we had with Helena Honda - Helena MotorsRecently my girlfriend crashed and totaled her car that she was very attached to. Our goal was to find a replacement for it that was as close to her crashed car as possible. This was not as easy as it may seem due to the fact that the 2018 models were redesigned and out of her comfort zone.We were looking for a Specific year, Model, Color and Version. I had spent many trips to dealerships that told me the car we were looking for was not available due that it was a last year model. After many nights searching on the internet for it a Dealer in Ohio told me that Honda Dealership in Helena had exactly what we were looking for. I called Helena Honda and talked to a GREAT Guy named Kourtney. He verified that they still had the car in stock and worked out a great deal for us. Since I live in CA. We hopped on a plane to Helena where Kourtney picked us up at the airport and let my girlfriend drive the car back to the dealership. During my last visit I had problems when buying tires and having them put on my vehicle. It ended up being an unnecessary ordeal. This included not having the right tires in stock as promised and the wrong pressure placed in each tire. It took the service department 2 days to get everything right.
Due to my receent medical condition, I was unable to continue to drive my SUV and had to find a vehicle that I was able to get in and out of.Helena Auto Center was able to help me find the perfect vehicle without causing me a lot of pain or discomfort in the process. Chase Kloker was outstanding in being able to understand what I would need and helped me find the perfect vehicle.He understood that it was difficult for me to walk up or down an incline to view the cars and instead brought the vehicle to me on a flat surface. Chase also positioned the driver seat of each vehicle as far back as it would go so it wouldnt hurt my hip when getting in and out of each car. These are only a couple of things he did to make my experience as pain free as possible.I purchased a Honda Accord and LOVE it!Id like to also recognize the manager, Dan Adamson! He is so nice to deal with and was always there to help with questions. For a female consumer, it is nice to know that there are people like Dan, who can help you with the process of buying a vehicle!

The negotiations for a new vehicle were not viewed as favorable. High priced vehicle, low ball trade in. Same old story here in Helena.

Our dealer here in Bozeman said it could not be done -- getting me a FWD HRV rather than an AWD (and 3 miles per gallon).But HAC jumped right on it, and succeeded where the other would not even try.Also, they kept me timely informed as to the vehicle progress for this special order.
Bought very cheaply (2009 Accord LX Coupe CRX-4cyl) in 09 when crash was raging and Mr. Grimes was having essentially a (soon-to-be) going out of business sale. Since then (Helena Auto Center) the service has been excellent, however. (Felt so guilty about invoice+500 price on the Accord that I bought a service contract, which the new dealer has honored to a T). As a Helena resident, I intend to continue as a customer.
