If you want a mechanic that cares more about getting the job done right look no further. Kyle did extensive work on my subaru, and uses only OEM or better parts, and even fluids. Evn if a part is technically right and will work(meaning its approved for, but not to the same specifications as OEM), its not used. Import auto also has an excellent warranty to back it all up.

Kyle was great! He kept me informed and did not do any work before getting by approval. He does great work in a prompt and professional manor. I took Kyle an oddball Mitsubishi Outlander with an unusual Air Conditioning problem. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and offer me multiple repair options. 1 week later I was back on the road with ice cold A/C and a very fair price. If i have a complaint its that he is so busy its hard to get scheduled for a repair. Good problem to have for a mechanic.

Kyle did a clutch repair on my Honda Element: replacing the slave cylinder. He was professional, friendly, explained clearly what was going on with my car, and his price for the part and labor was very reasonable. Unfortunately, the new part was a bad one, and less than two months after it was installed, my clutch went out again. FORTUNATELY, Helena Import Repair warranties their parts and work for two years. Kyle sent a tow for my car (which he generously paid for) and took care of everything to get me back on the road ASAP. Very poor customer service. Would give a negative review if possible. Called to ask about an audi fix as KYLES PAGE SAYS ASE certified and has AUDI listed under vehicles he rerairs. He picked up the phone and before i could even finish my sentence about our car he cut us off and said hes to busy, he doesnt work on audis, and then hung up. I called back to make sure the call wasnt interuppted and he stated no i hung up im way to busy.I said i just have a question then and some i fo and he said i dont need to take any info from you i already told you i way to slammed and i dont work on audis. Then proceeded to hang up again wothout hearing what we had to say. Would not reccomend to anyone with that kind of an attitude. Also wouldnt reccomend if you have an AUDI. because he doesnt work on them.

I live in Bozeman and discovered a seemingly stellar deal on a used vehicle in Helena. I only had one day off and so the process of finding out if the vehicle was good was very stressful since I’m 2hrs away. I found Kyle at Helena Import Repair after a quick internet search and he had excellent reviews. After talking to him on the phone I knew this was the guy to give me a honest inspection and trusted him to let me know if the vehicle I found online was actually a good deal for it’s price. Kyle did not disappoint! Not only did he inspect the vehicle the same day, but he also sent me a detailed report of the inspection with photos! I was super impressed! Kyle found that the car needed a new battery, oil change, and a filler. He offered to replace the battery and filter and do the oil change the same day as the inspection even though he was super busy! I was so happy to know that not only did I get a great deal on a good used car but I left Helena feeling confident and safe in a vehicle that was ready to get me to and from work 7days a week. I haven’t had this good of an experience EVER buying a used car and it’s because of Kyle and his solid business practices that made that possible. Seemed friendly enough, Was told my mitsubishi was too complicated to work on, took my vehicle elsewhere. A wheel bearing is not hard to source. A 4g63 motor has some of the most after market support for any vehicle. Sorry you thought a wheel bearing was hard to source 😂 EDIT, when you make an ignorant statement saying parts are hard to source when they in fact arent kind of looks bad on your part. Not really a shot at you but more of calling out your ignorance. Sorry i had such a bad experience with you. Have a great day!

We called to ask about an Audi repair and before we could even finish our sentence he said “I don’t do Audi’s man!” And hung up. Called back to ask where Audi’s are serviced and he got angry with me and said, “look I don’t work on Audi’s and I’m to busy to take any info or answer any questions. I got upset and said that’s very unprofessional and hung up.

I have had Kyle change all my belts and he has gone over and above what I ever expected.....i will have him do all the work I need done and I will recommend him to anyone that needs work done on their vehicles 😁 I am very pleased

Trust is a big deal, especially when it comes to car repairs. I am tired of dealers and shops screwing you to pay for their show room floor.
