We purchased a whole hog, and the quality is better than I ever expected! Awesome deals too!
A friend Tex me, asked if I thought I could sell possessed hogs. Well sold 17. Everyone is extremely pleased with the quantity and quality of the meat. Excellent ! Extremely pleased ! Have abunch of more people that want more.
So approximately a month ago Tizer meats had on Craigs list, Facebook and even the local news that with what was going on with the large processing facilities they were offering a 280 to 290 pound pig for $300. This included the cut and wrapping and packaging for 2. I rand down and dropped my deposit to secure my pig and today I recieved a call asking me to pay another $50, Im sorry failure to plan on your part doesnt constitute more cost to the customer when you had previously advertised a set price. That is considered false advertising and its wrong.
NEVER AGAIN! I have given these guys several chances to process my wild game, and every time I walk out with half us much meat I should have received. When you get less than 90-lbs of meat off of a huge 300+ class bull, shot one time through the lungs, and brought in 2 hours after I shot the animal ... THIS PLACE HAS SERIOUS ISSUES!
Great quality meats and reasonable prices. Im like a kid in a candy store when I go there.
Was treated rudely when I came in to inquire about purchacing a half a beef. I was given someone elses order to review becaus the cashier did not want to take the time to answer my questions.
Only got back 60lbs of burger and 6lbs of steak from a fresh roadkill elk. After asking, they said they threw out the rest because most of it went sour. I can understand if the neck wasnt usable, as that was where it was hit, but there was plenty of good meat left on that body. I dont know how something I normally let set for a couple of days before processing could go bad so quickly. At least call and tell me if youre going to throw out half of my meat. Definitely not worth the $300
After talking with many hunters in the area this business isn’t worth the risk. They’ll give you 110lbs meat for every elk you bring in; for example even a ‘Roosevelt’ (330lb skinned) got back 110 lbs (90lb ground, 20 lb of steaks). What happens to the rest, is only speculation. There’s better options.
Took in a huge cow elk.. got back like 12 packages of loin steaks, 6-8 packages of cube steaks, 10 packages of round steaks 3_5# roasts and 20# of bulk trim and 60# of burger ...wondering where the rest of my elk went..(and I worked at a slaughterhouse for 3 years processing animals including elk and deer during hunting season) definitely not impressed...
I saw a post on Facebook about a dog bone special, totally amazing price for the special, even their regular price beat the pet store on bones. If I hadnt already done my grocery shopping I would have perused their selection further. I have seen they have regular lunch specials on house made sausage, brawts, and other meat items, since I moved closer to the shop recently I hope to make more visits.
Best service and great selection of meats and all the fixings down to wine and recipes. Meat cut to order and quick turn around.
These guys make the best stuff! Their brats and breakfast sausage are our favorite!
So clean, outstanding selection and great customer service.
I brought a deer in to be processed and was told it would be ready in a week or two. I came back after a week and they said it would be two or three weeks. That same day I called them about storing my brothers deer for a few days in their freezer and they said they could do it. We came by and they told me they wouldnt. I am very frustrated by them, and wont be coming back.
