I went to Trailer city last Monday to have a hitch put on my car. After talking to 4 people with zero personality between them I was told it had to be ordered. “ it will be in Wednesday- we will call you “- by Friday- no call. I called on the following Monday- no record of my call or order ( my bad for not getting paperwork or names except Carl) placed my order AGAIN on Tuesday and was told it would be installed Thursday. Friday comes- no trace of my transaction. I’m told it would take 7-10 days to get it after ordering. I need to get the boat this weekend. I went to hitch king in floral Park. They had the parts in stock and they took me in within an hour of my phone call. Zero stars should be available!!

I have a karavan trailer for my seadoo the only place that know the correct bearing needed. Also had them in stock. Go there for your trailer needs.

Received needed help immediately. Easy to find things. Nice guy behind the counter. The guy with the beard. He knew the answer to my question but checked with 2 others just to be sure. Love that theres also a repair shop directly across the street just in case I cant figure out how to get the job done completely.

Came here because I needed two new axle nuts and keepers. An older gentleman behind the counter helped me but he had a horrible attitude. He gave me the impression that he did not value my business nor have any interest in assisting me. I wanted to inquire about getting some other item such as new lights and and a couple bearing buddies but after I saw his attitude I didnt bother. I wouldnt recommend coming here unless youre in a jam.

I have never used their service department, but they have every trailer part that you may need. I went in looking for “the metal piece that holds the leaf spring to the frame along with the plastic tube” and the associate was very helpful in drawing me a diagram on how a trailer suspension works and that the part I was looking for was a shackle strap and a bushing. I was shocked when he told me how much these parts cost. I was ready to whip out my credit card but instead was able to pay with the change in my pocket. Would recommend

My trailer needs a new tire and welding the part that cover the tire and the two directional signals of the trailer were broken I didn’t go over there for that they said well I need to fix due to avoid a ticket from Dot : They charged me 189.00 for a new tire which I bought the previous day somewhere else for 139.00 nothing was wrong with the trailer harness cable they changed and charged 5 hours laborThey can’t give you an estimate so they could charge you what ever amount of hours for labor .Most likely this place is not for company they don’t care if you never come back they make sure they ripped you offPoor customer service,when I tried to question about the bill one of the employee said to me I am not the one paying for the bills is my company pay for it.I don’t have no right to tell you don’t go over there but from my experience ask questions and make sure you get a price before you leave your equipment

The Johns Bargain Store for camping.Dont know about vehicle service but if you know what part you need they probably have it.Go browse the aisles. HAGGLE! They do budge on price. Great for old light fixtures for boats.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I had a trial hitch put on my 2010 for 350 van and this is the second time I have had to have it repaired due to the poor hitch electrical plug install done by them. Instead of using a prebuilt wire harness for the truck, they taped into the existing wire harness and have caused the truck wiring to fail for a second time. Poking holes in power wires. It has cost me more than twice what the hitch install cost to fix.Do your self a flavor and go to a professional not these guys who cut corners and do a poor job.

What poor work quality! Had a trailer hitch installed in June, paid quite a premium price not only for the receiver but the labor to install it. The claimed they would have to modify my exhaust...when I got my vehicle back the exhaust was untouched. That shouldve been the first clue. After trailering an EMPTY trailer the receiver AS A WHOLE ripped off the frame it was mounted to!! Ive never known anyone that actually went there and now I know why!
