I had an awesome experience purchasing my car through Hendersonville Auto. I live 2.5 hours away but was interested in one of their cars and they made the process so easy even from a distance. Brooke went above and beyond to try to get the car I had hoped for but she ended up placing me in a car that I never even knew I needed well within my price range. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. It’s everything I wanted and more! My experience was awesome and I’m very happy with my new vehicle!

I went back on my lunch break only to see the Lexus being driven off the lot with a temp tag and when I asked for Bo, I was told that it was his day off.I went to a different dealership and purchased a Infinity Q50 AWD.Maybe things sometimes work out for the best.

DO NOT SHOP HERE.BEWARE THEIR AS-IS POLICY.IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM - MAKE SURE YOU GET A LICENSED MECHANIC YOU TRUST TO CHECK THE CAR FIRST.Bought a Prius from them in May.Was told:A) The car was in “excellent” condition and was checked over by their technicians. This was completely inaccurate. I noticed a low tire pressure light on; they said they would check it, but it was probably just from sitting on the lot. They did not check it. I took it to my tire guys and discovered that one tire was flat, and two others had bubbled. Had to replace all four tires immediately after purchase. In addition to this, I ran it by my mechanic and found that the stabilizer links had completely worn through and a brake pad had fallen off. Another grand later, I FINALLY get to drive my “excellent condition” car home and - I kid you not - the brakes fail. Turns out, the car had a brake pump failure (a $2k fix) and had thrown codes for it back in January, but the dealership had just reset the codes and never addressed the issue (a dangerous condition where the brakes would intermittently fail that rendered the car undriveable according to Toyota). A month later, and I’m STILL waiting on a replacement part to come into Toyota, and have driven my “excellent condition “ vehicle for less than 48 hours. A complete disaster. DONT BUY HERE.(And, to add insult to injury:)B) I was told the title would be shipped to me. It was not. In fact, I called a week before the temporary registration would run out to find it was just sitting on their desk. They asked if I wanted to drive out and get it…..with what car?EDIT: I appreciate the response passing the blame on to me, when I have three different reports to show that the vehicle has been in service since I bought it due to MAJOR and dangerous issues that your shop overlooked and/or possibly hid (as it was throwing the code before it even got to me for the intermittent brake pump failure). I have the picture proving you sold it with the tire pressure dashboard light on. I didnt take an extended test drive - I took it out for a short drive around the block as I was instructed; I was not allowed to take it to a mechanic for inspection and was gone for less than 30 minutes. I was assured again and again that your mechanics had handled everything and it was in excellent condition. The title was not overnighted - I called about it on 06/08, was told that oh we found it on the desk, and asked if I wanted to come get it (again, I couldnt because I still dont have the car STILL due to the repairs required, which I spoke with someone about then and they said ohhhh well....I guess we can mail it), and when I asked if it could please be mailed, it arrived on the 12th (crushed into my mailbox even because it hadnt been sent certified as youd said it would be). This isnt even buyers remorse - this is man, I would love to be able to drive the car I paid $13,000 for (and another grand in repairs less than a week out the door), but because of falsified information about its excellent condition, Im still going to be waiting an undetermined amount of time for a part to come in so it can be fixed and not be completely unsafe to drive.

They sold us a bad Black BMW. We pd for it in full. 1st week we noticed issue, took back. Changed a hose. Then that didnt work. Next said call mechanic. We did, he never called back. We paid good money. Please go eleswhere. It sad that you hear this company will take care of you. Then treat you like this. We were not offered anything. In way of warranty. It should.matter that the mechanic never called back after several messages. Its an expensive car. One week into it. There is an issue.

The professionalism piece was lacking when I asked them to take the car back. There’s no possible way that they had no clue about these issues. I should have hired a lawyer, but I was none the wiser. Also, anytime I began asking questions they treated me like I was prying or like I should know the answer already. There was a defensive and short demeanor about the crew here and when I pulled up, they were all just standing outside staring at me get out of the car. It felt like they were hesitant to even engage with me, or like none of them really wanted to. When I reached out to an employee about the issues I was having, I was never replied to. Even on these reviews, I just read replies by the owner where he is defensive, and telling customer saying that their comment is unwarranted. This is a bad way to do business if you want good relationships with people. I imagine that he sets the tone of that defensive and stand offish culture. My experience with the car was a nightmare. I purchased a 2010 Volkswagen Passat with 60,000 miles on it. It had some upholstery damage on the interior roof, which they fixed before I purchased it. The man I worked with, stated that he would put his own daughter in it. I drove the car off the lot and within a day, the transmission slipped. This was a costly repair. I kept noticing there were spots all over the seatbelts and a few other things, which made me wonder about flooding. The spark plugs immediately followed, then a major electrical issue involving the headlights and the window motor (which was further indicative of electrical damage), then a cracked fuel tank. The list of problems that I had fixed in this vehicle was ridiculous, and all before I even put 8,000 miles on the car.

I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Joel at Hendersonville Auto Brokers. I couldnt ask for better customer service. From phone calls before I came in, the test drive and helping me find the best interest rate I couldnt ask for a better experience. I drove in from Georgia, over a 3 1/2 hour drive and it was worth it. The customer service didnt stop there. When I had a check engine light come on, Joel was quick to stand behind the purchase and assure me it would be taken care of. The Jeep runs great and it turned out to be something minor, but they covered the repair. He also said that if it turned out to be something more serious, they would take care of me there too. This is a company you can trust. I went in as a single woman, and was pleasantly surprised at what a good experience this was. I highly recommend Hendersonville Auto Brokers.

He wanted me to give him the money & “figure out the title transfer” on my own. Was kind at first, then told me I was just “too young & didn’t understand”. I took my business to a BMW certified dealership instead & bought a car 4 years newer than the one he showed me because they were generous & helped me through the process. Bo was kind at first then turned rude at the end. I do not recommend them to anyone. Kindness goes a long way in customer service.

I had been hearing great comments about Hendersonville Auto Brokers from some friends and even a few strangers. Supposedly, Rick and Richie Schaeffer are about as honest as it comes in this business...or anywhere for that matter. Of course, I am always skeptical as a female when shopping for a big ticket purchase, so I do my research. Well, I am here to say that all the hype I heard about this father-son team was most certainly true. Wow. Thank you, Rick and Richie! I have never had a more straightforward and pleasant car-buying experience in my life...and Ive bought many cars in the past few decades. I got a fantastic deal and not to mention an efficient deal. I was in and out of there in half an hour! I walked in, gave them my budget, and then told them my needs. They could have easily tried to upsell me, but instead, they truly listened and I walked out of there with a better deal than I ever could have imagined would happen. You guys are awesome! After talking to someone over the phone (they recommended I fill out the credit app online)-I did that then called to follow up after a couple days & was told that they were sorry, but I didn’t qualify for financing. So I guess they don’t offer financing for all credit levels after all?! Very misleading and a waste of time when I had very little to begin with! Won’t be recommending them to anyone!

We talked and let him know we were still months away from a purchase, and would he let us look around for a little bit. He was very nice and cordial and said Ill be right here when you need me. We looked at a few more and my husband went in and asked him about another vehicle. He gave us information and asked if he could open the vehicle. My husband responded with a no because the mileage was over a 100,000. Within seconds some elderly man with white hair came out yelling and screaming profanities. We didnt know if he was talking to us, but later found out that he was screaming at the gentleman helping us. The worst language that I have ever heard came out of his mouth. Then he walks inside and begins yelling at the gentleman inside. The words coming from his mouth wad G.D. M.F. and many more words the my wife nor I wanted to hear while shopping for a vehicle. If you have children make sure that you keep them in the car with windows rolled up so they wont be hearing such foul language.

Found a beautiful 2011 BMW 528i M Sport there. My initial buying experience was very good. They gave me sufficient time to spend with the car on my own to drive car, bring the car to my mechanic, etc. The price was negotiated to a fair, competitive retail price. As part of the negotiation, I asked for some items and, for the most part, they delivered. Items they delivered on time included new tires, and getting the original owner’s manual and the second key from the original owner. They fell short on their commitment to properly touch up scratches on one of the rear doors and replace the wheel locks that had to be broken off to change tires. Based on the quality of the cars on their lot, and my initial favorable buying experience, they should not have made commitments they could not deliver at the expected quality level. Also mentioned in a few other reviews, there was some delay in getting the title and, most of the time, I had to call them to get updates. Bottom line – the car I bought is a great, clean one owner car, but the service after the sale could have been better.

So I called to research final sales prices on vehicles insurance had told me were comparable to my totaled vehicle. Joel sent the final sales price to me so I could document it for insuance settlement negotiations. What I received didnt have the stock number or VIN although I asked for one, so it really wont be as helpful as Id hoped, despite asking them to resend it with some type of identifying info (stock number would work and maintain buyers privacy). I was involved in an accident where my truck was totaled, and had to buy a car immediately. I had been all over Nashville, and Franklin that day, and talked to multiple salesman. As you can imagine I was frustrated, tired, it had been raining all day, and I was stressed I had to return my rental the next day. I had seen the lot before, so I decided to check it out. I stopped by Hendersonville Auto Brokers because of all the nice pre owned vehicles they had on the lot, as my last stop. I should have just gone there first, I told myself. I absolutely couldn’t decide what to buy because every single car was nice, and very clean. Joel came out, and introduced himself. He was amazing! As most of us hate being pressured to buy something we don’t want by a car salesmen, this was not Joel. Joel simply told me if “ I found something I liked, or if I had any questions to let him know”. I found a really nice, 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300. This car looked absolutely brand new. In fact I couldn’t believe it was a 2011. I asked Joel how much it was, and told him how much I wanted to spend. He worked with me, and I was able to purchase. He assured me the car had been well kept and maintained. In fact he said “ you can buy an extended warranty for $800, but there is no need to. This car is in excellent shape”. I took the car the Music City Mercedes-Benz, and inquired about the service on it. The previous owner had done every service the car had required, and it was in tip top shape, just as Joel had said. Joel was straight up, and honest with me on every question I had asked, and Mercedes solidified that. In getting to know Joel, during the purchase, he is a pastor of a Church in Gallatin, and an honest Christian man. Before you go ANYWHERE to buy a car, truck, boat, or SUV It would do yourself justice to go by Hendersonville Auto Brokers and talk to Joel or Ricky.

Joel sold my Dad a car out of State. Everything sounded good. My Dad was nice enough (or Naive) to trust the Salesman Joels opinion on the vehicle..it is great and everything is good and drives perfectlyThe car looks beautiful, there is no doubt about it, the key fob though was not the correct one and did not work at all. Also the Lock cylinder does not work, meaning the car could not be locked at all even manually.. something that could and certainly should have been mentioned prior to purchase by an honest salesman. He also said the car ran great, unfortunately the clutch has to be replaced and car had to be towed from the side of the Highway in to our local mechanic as the clutch was burning so badly and slipping, less than 2 gas tanks after delivery of the vehicle. One can maybe think Joel does not know how to drive a manual car or does not know the feeling of a clutch being over 90% dead ..who knows and as they say in the car business we are now owners so I assume that is why he was not caring to return any calls or emails after the sale. The door lock should have definitely been mentioned though as that is obvious unless they never once tried to lock or unlock that car when it was at the dealership (highly doubtful). The nature of the car business has never been one to have a good trustworthy Co-notation (because of sales people because of experiences like this ) and with the rise of the business relying on internet reviews, many things should have been pointed out and a customer should not be ignored after the sale.Oh, the rear driver shock is leaking obvious fluid, along with the coolant tank (which is having to be replaced because of bad coolant leak). Both obvious issues. I have not met Joel personally and most likely will happily never, but my guess is, they will tell you whatever it takes to watch the lights drive off their lot or go onto a transport truck in this caseP.S: This is a Porsche 911..In response to your response:1. He has had 4 Porsches in the past and countless amounts of cars, all manuals, never had a single issue.A clutch would not FULLY die after less than 200 miles no matter how badly it would be driven without showing previous symptoms of slippage.2. Please check your emails as I just did, where you claim to know nothing about the lock? as far as your documented emails to help assist., they are absolutely nowhere to be found.4. As far as me being an entitled fool, you are entitled to your opinion. Which still in no way helps resolve the issue at hand.If you have documented emails, actually responding to his issues at the time.. please resend them to him. We cannot find them anywhere in his emails.

Physical intimidation used by salesman Bo F. (Sales/ Finance Mgr). He is the most unprofessional salesman I have ever seen. He tried to physically intimidate me by walking out of his office and yelling in my face. Owner Rick/Richard S. (Ceo/Owner) watched this & condoned this behavior by doing nothingI bought a 2009 370z Touring yesterday (5/29). The car is absolutely fantastic..They really do sell good quality cars. However, this review is about the god-awful unprofessionalism of Bo Frensley. My First impression was good. He let me test drive even without a pre-approval a couple of days before I talked to the banks (I knew I would be qualified.)I went with my parents yesterday (5/29). I wanted my dad to check it out with me. I was at a disadvantage because I really wanted the car so I was very patient with Bo: When I sat down, I could see off the reflection of a window that he was on FB and continued to look at his computer while I was talking. He answered the phone twice while I was in the middle of negotiating/about to make an offer.I asked about a second key fob. He said twice that he would get me one at his cost/expense. (I am sure he said both at different times.) I screwed myself over because I signed the we owe you form with the wording as key fob at my [his] cost...today I found out that basically meant I would get a discount. He was extremely misleading with his wording. He could have simply said it will be discounted or cheaper. (although he claimed that he did not know the price it normally is)So the address on my license is out dated because I recently moved. He got very visibly frustrated/irritated just because he had to reenter and reprint the documents even though it was clear that I was a serious buyer. He also did not bother to give me the updated copies. He also rushed me through the signing of the documents, even though I was reading and trying to understand what he was having me sign.I went in today (5/31). He denied my request for him to call the mobile key guy to say they would pay for it. I then complained about his unprofessionalism to him, hoping that he would feel bad and pay for the key fob. He waived the signed form I signed and told me to talk to the owner if I wanted to complain. Richard, the owner, was outside smoking on a bench.I started ranting to him about the misleading wording/tactic, and he sided with the Bo. I am smart enough to realize the legality of the sheet I signed (although questionable wording). I then complained to Rick/Richard about Bos unprofessionalism. I was really hoping he would understand and just say they would pay for the key. This is what any good customer service would entail. He referenced the signed form and defended Bo.I was, understandably, very upset and mad. I walked back in and cussed out Bo from the main door (I am being completely honest and transparent). I know this is not ideal behavior on my part, but I was furious with the service and my experience.I walked out planning to leave, but I saw Bo rush out fast behind me yelling What did you say to me? He was up in my face with the owner still close to the bench watching the entire incident. I said this is extremely unprofessional and asked if he allowed that type of behavior at his business. I asked what if there were other clients here? (unfortunately I think I was the only client there and I did not think about recording him confronting me). At this point, Bo threatened he could do whatever he wanted because his cousin/relative is the chief of policeAfter asking the owner Rick/Richard if that was ok, he said no but he said that I had a bad attitude. I am allowed to be upset and express it. I did not physically touch him, but I did feel threatened by Bo.I left right after that hoping to avoid any more confrontation. That behavior is extremely unprofessional. I would never tolerate that at my business. All of this over a key fob worth $120. Bo is a liablity if he loses his temper to the point where the business could be sued if he puts his hands on a future client.

Because Bo was very helpful and very tuned in to all of my concerns since I was purchasing a car miles away from me. Bo went out of his way to get me more pics and did a short video for me. I told him that I was flying in and what would be the best route to get to his place of business. This is where Bo simply amazed me, he said no problem I will pick you up from the airport. That right there told me that I was dealing with the right person. Sure enough when I landed he was there, helping me with my bags. We had a parking ticket from waiting on me and he wouldnt let me pay the ticket. Then on the way back we got to talking, then I found out that he was a single father, because of losing his wife in a car accident. For years he had raised his child on his own. that alone defined his caricature to me.. As you remember I was buying a car that I had never seen and going off of Bos word only. Well let me tell you, Bo doesnt lie. The car was in better shape than I thought. Ill sum this up Hendersonville Auto Brokera and Bo Frensley are the most reputable that I have purchased from.

I called ahead to confirm a vehicle I saw online was still available and spoke with Shane who said the vehicle was there. Soon after I called I made the 40 minute drive to Hendersonville and when I arrived Shane showed me another vehicle of the same make/model and told me that the vehicle I inquired about was sold yesterday. This is an unacceptable business practice and I will no longer be considering purchasing a vehicle from here.
