The shopping experience in store wasnt the problem. The problem came at checkout I went through the whole process of going into the app and creating an account and picking out my coupons, which influenced my items I purchased. I got everything selected and at the checkout I asked the guy about the coupons it and told him it says I have to enter my phone number and he said oh you dont have to it does it for you automatically. So I said ok and checked out only to find that, no it doesnt do it automatically, and yes you do have to put in your phone number. After review of my receipt I did not get the discounts of nearly 15 dollars. And from the influence of the coupons buying 2 or 3 of things I was only going to get 1 of cost me extra on top of not getting the discounts. So basically I paid more than I was supposed to by around $30 on a $100 purchase. Not happy at all and for now on Cash Saver will have my business not Dollar General Market. A place I used to go at least once a week. Goodbye Dollar General. Its been real, its been fun. But it hasnt been real fun. That is all.

Incredibly disgusting place all around, even for dollar general. The store is kept disgustingly unclean and poorly stocked. The staff are unbelievably rude, unintelligent, and slow. Completely unprofessional atmosphere, the cashier even sneezed on someones products and made the statement are you gonna sue me?. This place either needs a complete staff swap or it needs to be closed.

This is a nice DG, they get a little snarky if you dare head towards the entrance upon exiting...Make sure to head left after checking out or some old lady will make fun of you! Ha

Since Ricky left the workers are not nice and the store is not stocked, items filled in to look full- like in spices should have multi but will put 1 in 6 or 7 spots, never can get what you need,this started before the covid rush, Im not talking about cleaning supplies. Since Ricky left I do not go there as much, less products you need, long lines checkout, I do not know if you ask for anything, such as a drink cooler, it used to be a great place to shop I went everyday, I try to avoid now.

Not always the best price but convenient and good selection I shop at the dollar store at least once a week!

My favorite place to grocery shop! The friendly staff cannot be beat! There has not been a single time I entry the store without bring greeted by a genuine smile and hello! You can tell they treat their staff right, which is so rare to see. Prices are obviously incredibly reasonable and the selection cannot be beat! It seems like the shoppers there are their own community. There is always and happy and helpful atmosphere!

My wife shopped at this location this afternoon, with the intention of purchasing at least $25.00 worth, in order to redeem the $5.00 off $25.00 purchase. She had a list and gathered up enough items to come to $26.50 AFTER coupons and before tax. One of the items was $6.00 Flea and Tick treatment for cats.The first issue: there were only two of this item in stock, and one had been opened, but the product was still inside the box. When she reached the cashier (Eugene), she told him about the opened box. His response: you should have brought it to me. Now, I guess I will have to close my register and go back and get it. WHAT, you want me to do your job? my wife thought to herself. Then after ringing up all the items, she asked if the $5.00 coupon had been taken off. No, you didnt have $25.00 after the $1.00 Meow Mix and .50 Little Debbie coupons had been taken off. EXCUSE ME, but I did have over $25.00 after those coupons had been taken off, because Id added everything up several times, she told him. He continued to insist that he was right. At that point, my wife had had enough and said, Well, I dont want any of it then! and walked out of the store. This was not the first time she had had an issue with a different rude employee there.

Had one thing I needed, they had it. Clean well organized, efficient check out.

Crowded, the aisles are really narrow. Probably not the best place for someone handicap or in a wheelchair. I went with my father who lost his leg 2 years ago to a gun accident but we left soon after arriving because it was difficult for him to navigate the aisles even with me there helping him.

Very nice and clean store. I wasnt sure they would have everything I needed, but they had more than I anticipated. Decent selection. Plus, I think every employee I came across said hello to me. I was surprised, made me feel like they were happy I was there.

I saw an employee today, with grey hair and glasses (I didnt catch a name), degrade and scold a young man with special needs along with his caregiver. I was stunned. He called them boys for starters, and they were clearly adults. He told them they were messed up and risking everyones lives. They were doing no such thing! He humiliated them both. Yes, they should have been a little further back. I get it. They were in no way in anyones personal space and they were very respectful. The young man with special needs was clearly having trouble understanding and his caregiver was gradually getting him to stay back when the employee started degrading and scolding them. Ive never witnessed anything like that before. Nobody deserves to be spoken to in that tone. That employee should be fired. Its absolutely insane.

It is your typical Dollar General market I should say. It is clean and very organized not enough employees though. Maybe they were just going through a rehire spring when I was there but all in all it is great their produce is fresh and they carry good brand underwear deodorant toothpaste medicine Etc. Check it out if you need to spend just the Dollar on deodorant.

Has all the essential food products you would ever need. Customer service has been good, so far no complaints. I also like shopping here and would recommend it to people with quick access to a Dollar General Market.

Great location close to my house. Love the sales they have on their clothes and shoes Etc. The store is very clean. The manager Ricky is probably one of the best managers Ive ever met great personality takes the time to talk to the customers. And if something is wrong he will make it right. Ill show up there every day unfortunately LOL.

I love how convenient this DG Market is, but dont expect to get in and out as quickly as you would with the nearby Kroger and Walmart, because there are no self-checkout lanes, and in many cases there are only two lanes open.

Needed help with finding something for my son. The cashier was very helpfulb and I found what I needed quickly. I will go back, and I recommend you should to.

Always as fresh produce and a wide selection as well. The employees treat you like family & I really like that. There is a lot of a little bit of everything you need in a convenient location without all the traffic.

This is hands down THE BEST Dollar General store in existence. I have traveled all over the region that Dollar General stores occupy, and have visited many DG stores in my travels. This store is ALWAYS clean, well stocked, and hires friendly, helpful staff. I will admit I live blocks away from this store, but I am doing my best not have any prejudice in this review. Whatever they are paying Rick, the store manager, its not enough!!!

After waiting for a 3rd cashier to open it was great.

A lot better than I thought it was going to be it’s actually very clean and the food is quite comparable to Kroger and Publix.

I frequent this store regularly. I like the produce which is much more reasonably priced than the big grocery chains. Plus I save money on all my cleaning & non food items here with much better prices than Kroger or Publix. Friendly staff.

I recently fell having a seizure. I hurt my back bad. I could not lift my groceries up 3 flights of stairs. I went to the Dollar General Market on New Shackle Island Road and ask the Manager if someone could please follow me home and help carry my groceries. With no hesitation the Manager found someone, David Dowell, who was more than happy to help me. If youre shopping for groceries here, pay careful attention to the expiration dates on the products you buy. Some are are really close to expiration i.e. the milk and other dairy products. The store was in a mess that day, must of gotten their truck in. Rolltainers with stock were everywhere and few employees in the floor.
