Marci told me I needed to clean my pool before they would come out and close it. I bought the chemicals recommended from their store and got it cleaned up. Upon getting it cleaned, Marci then told me they arent accepting anymore closings although I tried to schedule the closing weeks before. I gave them 2 stars as the other staff was extremely helpful and didnt just tell me to watch youtube videos.

Highly recommend Fox Pools to build your pool. The entire team was amazing. They do EVERYTHING they say they will, and Jeremy does an awesome job keeping you informed along the way. They are very upfront on the timeline and cost ahead of time. They took special care to make sure that everything was just as needed. We ran into some roadblocks with the city permits and they fought for us and succeed, keeping us from having to do it our selves.The support did not end with the completion of the project either.

The staff was nice but they skipped a lot of things they said they would do, the didnt install our light properly, they just put in the wrong screw and left it hanging there bobing around. They said they would remove rust and then just painted over it and the rust ate through the paint, they said they would clean the equipment and just decided not to, and they said that they would pressures test the pipes and we found out they didnt do that either because one of them has a leak that we have to find now. At the very least dont say youre going to do something if youre just going to skip it.

I visited Fox Pools yesterday at my wits end. Our pool was beautiful for most of the summer then we had algae that we couldn’t get rid of. I took a water sample in for testing yesterday and both Hunter & Jeremy worked together to come up with a treatment that would rid our pool of this problem. We followed the steps that were given and this morning we have a blue pool with dead algae. I will not go to any other pool suppliers after visiting Fox Pools yesterday!! Thank you both for your above and beyond service.

The workers were extremely nice and respectful. I was told they would clean my pool and set up the filter. The filter was set up and some chemicals added but the pool was not cleaned. I expressed that my biggest need was the leaves cleaned out. My daughter needs the pool for her physical therapy and cannot use it. Very disappointed.

The last few visits the ring in my pool was never removed. They had several reasons why of course. Today the same thing. So I got in the pool and cleaned it myself with a pool cleaner I ordered from in internet and the walls are the whiter than ever. Oh yea it took a bit of elbow grease on my part. Time for a new pool service. Tired of excuses. BTW been with them for at least 10 yrs.

The first time I used them they were very friendly and the services were great. Which is why I decided to use them again. I dont know if the girl was having a bad day or what but she was very rude and short with me. They love to talk about how busy they are so maybe they are trying to run off their customers. Well it worked for this one.

The guys at Fox Pool and Spa are very good. Had some issues with the pool deck after it was done. They did everything they needed to do and fixed the problem.The guy they recommend to do retaining walls and other miscellaneous things (Kent) is terrible. Did not return phone calls or reply to text messages. Quality of his work was not good at all. If the guys at Fox stayed on him, he would eventually call us but it wasn’t worth the hassle. Did not finish the job he was hired to do. Ended up hiring someone else to finish the job he started.

After being stood up by two other companies that had been recommended by my contractor, I decided to forget the idea of saving money and just go with a store-fronted company. I thought Id pay more, but I was wrong. We could get superior service and products for almost the same price.We started with Jeremy. Hes an excellent communicator and stewarded us through the entire process with few, if any, hitches. The entire installation team from contractors, to concrete guys, to electrician were all A+ quality, all kind, professional and timely.The final product is amazing. The skipped no corners all the way to the end, including giving us all the nets, skimmers, vacuums and childrens alarms we needed. The completed a full training for us with everything from chemical balancing to running the pump.I expect and demand excellent. Fox Pools provided it.

These guys are great! The install was timely and professional. I’m always treated well when I go in to get my water tested(which is a service they offer for the low price of FREE). If you’re thinking of getting a pool of have a pool and need a company to help you, these are the guys for you.

Came here looking for a vacuum for my above ground pool and they recommended a battery operated vacuum. I said it didnt look like itd be strong enough, but the two sales people assured me it would take the algae off the bottom of the floor and that it was returnable. Spent over 2 hours, meticulously vacuuming but the filter only picked up about 25% of it and the rest of the algae would just cloud up the pool again. I even have video to prove it, but forgot to show it to them when I was met with attitude from the manager when I was returning it.Their receipt says you are not allowed to return chemicals, but doesnt address anything else. I returned this faulty product within 3 days of purchasing it with receipt. Cashier had to get the assistant manager (or manager?) who was doing me a favor and wouldnt normally return this. Excuse me? I came here with no attitude and not asking for the world, but she obviously wanted it to be known she was doing me a favor and seemed quite irritated. Well, the favor you did for me is to not use you guys when we get our real pool.Caleb who sold me this product was personable and seems like a great kid, the manager not so much. She said she would take it up with him, but the only thing needing to be taken up is her attitude.

They have done my warranty work on my Shark Pool Vacuum and very promptly. I should note that I didnt buy it from them. I bought my first pool from them in 1987.

Update to my original review ; I was contacted by David at Fox Pools after discontinuing service and he was great. He understood my issues and worked quickly to resolve them including a great deal on a new sand filter and service. My pool is now sparkling clean and I am happy with the solutions provided!The cleaning crews are good guys however they need to slow down and make sure the jobs are done correctly ; if it takes an hour to clean my pool well then it takes an hour. I understand there are time constraints with the amount of pools they may have to clean on a regular basis however you have to do the job correctly or you just dont do it.My wife and I purchased a home that had an above ground pool. We set up the opening and maintenance with Fox as neither of us have any experience with above ground pools. The guys came out day after Memorial Day and opened /cleaned it. The pool was still foggy but it did look a lot better than it had. They also installed a chlorinator.That Friday the guys came back out again and added chemicals to bring the water to balance. I called Fox and spoke to someone who said it was safe to swim in and that the fog would dissipate over the next several days.That weekend we tested the water only to find there was no chlorine in it at all. I called on Monday and was told that I was responsible for making sure the chemicals were added(which I totally understand) however I was charged $279.00 for the chemicals added that Friday so how was the chlorine missed?Another weeks goes by and my water is still foggy so I look up some online videos and low and behold there is no cartridge filter installed in my filter, a pivotal step in the opening of the pool. I do not know how their staff missed this and God only knows how much more I would have spent on chemicals had I not checked the filter. $1000+ dollars to have my pool opened and cleaned only for something so essential to not even be checked. I would recommend going someplace else.

Fine for buying supplies, but a nightmare for new liner installs. first, the wrong size and had to be replaced. now, after multiple weeks, still leaking. the service department staff dont seem to care; even suggested that we could still use it despite the substantial loss of water. we have also been left waiting for someone to show up, as committed, but never did. this required next morning calls to reschedule. just got off the phone (again)...the lady could not wait to get me off the phone. being nice is not getting me anywhere with this outfit. still no resolution despite the promises.

We recently purchased a pool from Fox Pools & Spas. While I am sure most people have heard the horror stories typically associated with having a pool put in, we want to tell the flip-side of the experience.We were very choosy on picking who would install our pool. While price was certainly a factor, it was not the only thing we considered. Having recently built a new home, we are aware of the frustrations that can come when having something built; therefore, we had many considerations surrounding a quality process.We told Fox it was important to us that once our pool process began, we wanted it completed in a very timely manner. To us that meant working on it each day the weather allowed for work. We told them having people clean up their mess as they worked was important. We told them we needed someone to build a quality pool and help us set up a quality maintenance program. And of course it was important for the design fit in with our somewhat unique backyard landscape. Fox took all this input, and first wanted to come to our home to see what made sense. Only after this visit did they put together a package.We chose to get quotes from 3 different pool builders, and reviewed them all carefully. What we loved about the Fox quote was the fact it was extremely clear on what our contract covered, and also what was included so far as equipment. And they were very patient and thorough in answering questions; we felt very valued from the start. For us, Fox was an easy choice.The pool install went without a hitch. The duo who installed the pool was top notch. We would watch in amazement as they measured, re-measured, to take great care the pool was exact. And once they installed the pool, we had another individual who was equally as precise in installing the filter system, etc.One thing we did not totally understand and appreciate until after the fact was that Foxs quoted package is so totally comprehensive. They literally gave us every piece of equipment we need to keep our pool beautiful. For instance, for safety reasons we chose to have an electric pool cover. We have friends who told us how great electric covers are, but said it is a pain every time it rains as the water goes into the pool when you open the cover after a rain. We immediately said, not an issue, Fox gave us a sump pump! I could go on and on about the equipment they provided. But bottom line, what you need to know is they arent looking to negotiate each and every piece of equipment. Their bid will be comprehensive and include what you need to have a beautiful pool.In summary, we really want to share our pleasure at having a partner who understood our needs and made us a feel like old friends during the entire process. From David and Brian who negotiated our package, to James, Christina, and Jay who installed the pool, the process went so smoothly.
