Just came from Black Friday and the store was very busy (as expected!). Prior to today, I waited 6 months for Home Depot to cut the price on three cedar raised-bed planters. They finally lowered the price, so I raced to the store, found only one of the planters on the shelf, and flagged down an associate to see if they had the other two somewhere else in the store. When I went back to the aisle, she and two other associates were out in the cold, working to get the other planters off the very top shelf for me. I realize this was not an item that they expected to have to retrieve for someone, especially the day after Thanksgiving! However, they were all cheerful and helpful in spite of being cold and needed elsewhere in the store to help other customers. As I rolled the loaded flatbed cart to my car, I was met by a very nice elf who helped me load. Added plus!! I am very happy with my experience and will return to shop again!
