I must have caught the guy on a bad day based on other reviews, but I was there with cash looking to buy on the recommendation of a friend, and he was very rude to me. I understand that ammo sales are restricted to his gun buying customers, and rightly so, but he didnt want to take one minute to talk to me. Then on one item on my list that was not restricted he stated I have one box of that but I dont know what the price is. I told him I was sorry for bothering him and left.

Have bought several firearms off Fred over the years and its always been a pleasure. I drive by dozens of dealers to give him my business and will continue to do so. Great guy and great little shop with the best website showing up to date in stock inventory and prices. 5 stars all the way!!!

Drive out to the business and find out that you have to purchase a gun before you can purchase 12 gauge shells which is only posted on the door . This business not selling shells should be CLEARLY noted in sellers business online and save people the drive.

Their gun storefront on Davidsons has prices that meet or beat any other shop in the area, and they have a good selection in the shop. They offer a huge variety of sporting goods too, not just guns. I bought a new rifle from Allsport and proceeded to sight it in with some help from fellow gun owners who have sighted in many rifles over the years. We were able to sight it in for left and right but the scope would not adjust low enough. It was mentioned to me that I should take the rifle back, for the scope may not be mounted properly. There could also be a problem with the scope itself. I brought it back and explained the situation, but to my surprise the owner would not help me. I did understand that they could not bore sight rifles, or perform any type of adjustment. He then explained that I would have to send the rifle back and was not sure if the manufacturer would be able to help me. He also stated that this type of situation has never happened to him and that all the rifles he has sold in the past five years were bore sighted and completely adjustable. I said thank you and left. I then called Van Raymond outfitters and they told me to bring the weapon right over. I explained the situation and the gentlemen that I spoke with apologized for the pathetic service that I had just received. They installed a shim in the rear scope mount which corrected the problem, and bore sighted the rifle for a very reasonable price! I will not return to this place of business for the very poor customer service. The prices at Allsport seemed reasonable but the service is terrible! Gun buyers be warned!!!!!!

I ordered parts from him on ebay, and when they arrived they were totally the wrong part. I tried calling during business hours and his machine said he doesnt answer out of state calls and not to leave a message because he wont respond. It said to reply by email. I tried to do that as well, and as soon as I hit send I got an auto reply back saying if it concerns ebay, another email must be contacted, but doesnt give the email. He has yet to reply to my email from eBay either. It appears to me that he had effectively made it where you cant contact him if youre from out off state. My item costs over 2 hundred dollars and Im very worried, because I purchased it for another person and its time sensitive. TO THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS. IF YOU PLEASE CHECK YOUR EBAY EMAIL AND REPLY TIMELY, I WILL BE HAPPY TO REMOVE THIS RATING OR CHANGE IT ACCORDINGLY.
