It was a cold rainy day and my tire pressure light flashed on. It was then that I realized that I didn’t have a pressure gage in the car. I happened to drive past this shop and hoped they’d be able to help. Sung helped right away - checked my tires and promised me that the warning light would turn off in a few minutes (it did). I will definitely be back!

Oh man, came by for the Virginia State Vehicle Inspection in the heart of Herndon, Virginia. Customer service goes way and beyond expectations. The waiting area is cozy. They even have a virtual fireplace 🔥🔥🔥. They were fast and if any findings, issues would be explained in details as well as repair options and cost. I will be back for vehicle maintenance and repairs on my list. I strongly recommend this place. Price is moderate. 👍🏻

I was nervous to come here because you always hear of mechanics taking advantage of females who dont know whats going on with their car. However, they were super honest and straightforward with me which I really appreciated. When they quoted me how much it was to change all 4 tires (parts+labor), I called my dad to make sure they werent scamming me and he said that was actually a great deal! Then, the next day I had a weird light come on and I went back in to see what was going on. When I called my dad to tell him the problem, he said that this new issue had nothing to do with them replacing my tires and that it would cost me more to fix this new issue. However, they kindly repaired the part FOR FREE on the spot the next morning. Super satisfied with their service and would highly recommend anyone, especially females come here for car services!!

I was a walk in at ESST the week of October 10 in need of an emissions inspection on a recently purchased auto. They worked me right in, and within 45 minutes my service was completed. Incredibly happy with the service provided by the Elden St. Service & Tire Team! I had 4 tires replaced and it came with a bundle; free mount and balance, free lifetime rotations and repairs, free initial alignment, and a 3 year hazard warranty. The out-the-door price was comparable to other shops, and Sean was very helpful in picking out the tires to get the biggest bang for your buck. I chose this shop due to the high number of good reviews and the response time on quotes. I also had my yearly safety inspection conducted. It all took less than 2 hours for the work to be done, which was quicker than anticipated - they had 2 techs working on the vehicle which sped things up. I was grateful for this since I stayed in the waiting room; waiting room was clean and comfortable, with chairs spaced out for the customers. Overall the team was professional and courteous throughout the entire experience. Id highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for new tires, oil changes, vehicle inspections, or other services offered.

I showed up promptly for the 730 appt I had booked online, and the guy looked at me like I was from Mars! He said they mainly take walk ins and it would be several hours. I said whats the point of having an appt then, and he had no answer. I did not use their services and left.Dont advertise you can make an appt, and then not honor it when someone shows up with one. Take it off your website. I wont recommend anyplace that wont let you make an appt to do service. People have busy lives, and thats why they schedule things.

Just moved to the neighborhood. My car needed an oil change. Having tried the chains, Jiffy Lube and Precision Tune, where I use to live, I thought I would try a local small business. I checked the reviews of ECCC and was impressed so I stopped in to check them out. I met and talked with Sean Johnston and knew from the start that this was a service oriented and very friendly business. Asked Sean about needing an appointment and he told me it wasn’t necessary. I ended up asking him about my upcoming VA car inspection and all that was involved. He was very helpful and had some great suggestions for me. I was impressed. I dropped my car off the next morning, and decided to walk a few blocks home, knowing Sean said He would text/call me when my car was done. I did receive a call about my windshield wipers needing replacement, and if I was interested in them doing it. I said YES Please! I knew they were in bad shape and really appreciate them catching that. By the time I walked back up, my car was ready. Easy check out. Another friendly guy rang me up. And all at a great price. Overall Very Satisfied. Very friendly and informative folks. FYI, there is a sunny, clean waiting room also. Feels good doing business with a local company and now I have my neighborhood garage to help me take care of my car. THANKS ECCC

Thjs place has been around forever but only recently as this repair place. I wasnt able to get a safety inspection there today but only because others were ahead of me and I had to hustle to work.

I went in for a safety inspection. The wait was 1 1/2 hours, but thats consistent with other local shops. Everyone was friendly even though they were harried.

Brought my car in for inspection, oil change, and check up as recommended in the owner’s manual. Check up showed a dirty air filter which I had them replace. Total cost was $110. You know if I had this done at the dealership it would have been at least $300.Love that Elden street tire will bring me home and pick me up so I am not spending so much time waiting. Every person there is helpful and pleasant. So happy I tried them a few years back. I do not take my car anywhere else.

H O N E S T ServiceIn December I have had Elite Car Care Centers Elden Street Service and Tire Center service our 1999 Mercedes Benz E320 for a second time for brake check, brake fluid flush, and alignment check.I took the Mercedes back to Elden Street Service and Tire Center based on the excellent first service (4 new tires and VA inspections). Again they were professional and efficient. They alerted me to a known repair for my Mercedes W210 sedan - a rear pinion seal leak which is a normal repair for MB W210s.Thank you for running a clean, well cared for, honest business. We will definitely be back for further service.

I got a flat tire over my lunch break. I was already due for 4 new tires anyways. Called and they were able to get me tires from their warehouse same day, and get them on before I was off work at 5pm. Super helpful, great pricing, would 100% recommend.

Always wonderful service. They are so polite . Today I had to get all three wipers changed they didn’t have the backbone so I was told I could go home and they would call me when they got it. They called an hour later I went back and they immediately changed them so fast

I have had my car serviced by this establishment twice and both times I have been extremely happy with the professionalism and level of service received. The first time was for a state inspection and ended with them having to work with my CarMax warranty to replace 3 of the 4 engine valves - nearly a $5,000 job. They were super professional and willing to go the extra mile in dealing with CarMax for me. The last time, I received four new tires and Sean was excellent in going over my options, listening to what I needed, and helping me select the tires that would give me the most bang for my buck. Highly recommend these folks!

Terrible and false advertisement. Days inspections are from Monday through Saturday from 7am-4:30 pm. Walked in at 2:39pm on a Saturday with one car in the emissions and inspections lane, front desk said they were done. Looked at my clock and looked at him and said it was 2:40 and he said yeah well we weren’t busy so we shut it down until Monday .

They were very efficient and friendly. Had the tires I needed in just a few hours.

Simply superb; between Ray advising me on services available, confirming what I would get and what I needed ( especially with his background working with Hyundai ) and Eddie going the extra mile to make the car available when I was going to be able to pick it up really showed me why all the reviews were five stars.The service prices were below the mean to comparable highly rated auto service centers and the service was performed with attention to detail and notifications of any changes that came up. The ability to get the exact tires I wanted were a big plus as I could take care of two service events at one time.

The only auto place I trust in all of NoVa. Everytime I have ever been here the service was quick, accurate, and charged only as needed. No bs. Ive been in northern VA for about 5 years, and this is the only place Ive recommended to anyone. This place is amazing! The distributor on my car died, and after replacing it I was getting sparks, but the engine still wouldnt start. I had it towed here. It turns out the gas had flooded the chamber washing off the oil around the piston causing loss of compression - something I would have never figured out. The best part was, they cleaned/repaired it and didnt charge me any extra $$$ besides the diagnostic fee. I dropped it off at 12:30pm, and they were done by 2:30! They are quick, professional and their price is right.

I went to the ECCC to get the Emission and Safety check done. First they told me it would take 30 minutes. After 2 hours they came out saying that they are failing Safety because I have my two break lights out. I could swear my break lights were working just fine. When I inquire about it what happened the manager got offended. I would not recommend these people at all to any one. Save your money and property from them!! I will never go back to them for anything.

Weve had them fix the brakes on our van and they did a great job, but what we were most impressed with is just yesterday. They are HONEST! We asked that they look at our tires as we were considering replacing them. They called and suggested we dont change them - still in good condition. In a world where many auto repair shops try and add costs, these guys are looking out for their customers. Cant tell you how much we appreciate that. We have our new go-to for auto repairs!!

Dropped off my car at noon for oil change and it was done around 430 pm. Didn’t anticipate it to be that long. Otherwise, staffs are professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

Took two and a quarter hours for a oil change. No updates or progress reports given. I will say I think only saw one mechanic on duty so it may have been out of there control. Still two and a quarter hours for a oil change???

Decided to try them since they have very positive reviews and the dealerships service departments price gouge. Elden Street charged one half what the Subaru dealership would for an oil change. I will be back.

Went to Elden for my State Inspection and the guys were quick and thorough. What gives them 5 stars for me is that as a woman going to an auto shop is always stressful because Im mentally prepared to be talked down to, insulted, harassed, or ridiculed for presumed lack of knowledge, BUT my experience with Elden wasnt like that at all. They were friendly and kind, gave me the info I needed and didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. Theyre not our closest shop, but Ill definitely be taking future car repairs to them based on their demeanor.

All I needed was windshield wipers but I was treated like I was the most important customer they had. The gentleman that waited on me even said he would replace them for me. Service was excellent. Everyone there was very friendly. What a difference! I would go there any time and they are 2 hours from me. That says a lot. Five stars. Keep up the excellent service. Its certainly a pleasure to go there.

I thought I would send you an email before expressing my disappointment online. *** This is the email that I sent to the Manager, Gary Malm in the auto-generated email. Since its been several days with no response, Ill post publically. **I scheduled to have a Safety inspection done at your establishment even though I had never been and didnt know anyone who had been there either. To my surprise, not only did my car not pass, but it required a $618 part that needed to be ordered. Since Im a (young) woman, I always look for second opinions from reliable sources before ever completing repairs because Ive found that so many try to take advantage of that.Unfortunately, I found that your establishment was one of them. I have not found your staff to be honest or reliable. I discovered that there was in fact NO ISSUE with the part that was recommended to me. My car passed the Safety Inspection with no problems at all.So, I will not be returning and I will not be leaving a 5 star review. I have been lied to, cheated, and had to pay for another inspection. Not impressed and very disappointed that this is the practice of your company.

Best auto shop in Herndon! I went to the jiffy lube and they wanted me to sit on a bench in front of the 7-11 across the street while I waited because their waiting area was closed for COVID. Went next door to Elden St Auto instead where they had an appropriate, air-conditioned, socially distanced waiting area. AN ETHIC OF CUSTOMER SERVICE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

It was my first time taking my car here and they were very friendly and professional. They spoke to me in a clear and straightforward way and did not try and get me to purchase anything I didnt need. They let me know about the condition of my brakes and even filled my tires with air. I will definitely return.

The wait wasn’t very long in light of the line that I was in and my experience was a good one. I would recommend this shop for inspections.

I have been coming to Elden St. Service & Tire many years now. The service technicians / mechanics always provide great service for my car and I trust their recommendations as they are given without pressure to buy anything. When picking up the vehicle, the technicians make me aware of things that I may have not considered, such as tire tread being low, engine filter needs cleaning, or engine sounding rough - needing diagnostic; however, they dont try to upsell me on any of those items, which I greatly appreciate. It allows me to plan ahead and I may get those scheduled at another time. I trust the mechanics with my car anytime and prefer their services over the car dealer service department by a long shot. In addition, their prices are much more reasonable than the car dealership service. At the dealership I spent many times waiting 3+ hours for a simple oil change, and then being told that I needed additional critical service on my vehicle that in only a year old.I highly recommend Elden St. Service & Tire in Herndon to anyone needing service on their vehicle.

ECCC is a highly reputable mechanic/car care center. Ive purchased my tires there as well as had an oil change and replaced by cabin and air filters there. They have a very clean facility, fair pricing, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. I recently brought my car in for an oil change and they noticed a leak around the water pump. Instead of just giving me a quote to make the repair and pressuring me to fix it at their facility, they suggested I contact the dealership first as the repair may be under the power train warranty. Sure enough, it was under warranty and they saved me a lot of money. They may not have made as much money from me on that one service call as a result of their honesty but what they gained was a life long customer. Its reassuring to meet honest mechanics that only charge you for work that is truly needed. I was also impressed that their owner Gary followed up with me shortly after my visit to ask if I was satisfied with their work. Thank you ECCC for your excellent customer service, integrity, and quality work! Ill sure be back when I need any additional work performed on my car!

Ive been using this company for my auto needs for several years...they are very honest and accommodating. Service personnel explain everything in detail. In addition to a nice waiting area, they will provide round trip transport to your home or office. I just bought 4 new tires for my 8 year old car. It has low mileage and they advised on less expensive tires since I dont put too many miles on my car. Great location in the center of Herndon so you could walk over to restaurants while your car is being serviced.

I came here in a pinch because I hadnt noticed my inspection was about to expire. It was late in the day and I had already been turned away from two others local shops, but when I arrived here the tone was welcoming and they fit me in right away. Since then Ive been coming here for all my routine maintenance and the service has never missed a beat.

I needed a oil change badly everywhere I called didn’t have anything for my car just so happens google gave me the nearest autoshop gave them a call they fit me in when I got there only was in the place for like 35 mins vs a hour like every where else I have been with my car also I had 8% of oil left in my car if it wasn’t for them I probably would be out of a car right now back taking the train/bus

Took my car here for inspection. Make sure you get everything out of your car before leaving it with these people. They stole the hand sanitizer out of my car. There’s not even a shortage of it anymore. And also “mansplained” why new wiper blades would cost $60. Unprofessional and ridiculous. Could have used the 400% markup on tire sales to buy hand sanitizer for themselves.
