Not your run of the mill grocery store. If the other stores dont have it this place probably will. I love the fresh seafood section.

I love this store, its super affordable but also it has a lot of options for vegetables and fruits including international brands. It is inexpensive and you can complete your weekly grocery shopping 🛒 without breaking the bank … I am glad that I can get almost anything without having to head to other grocery stores!!! ONE STOP SHOPPING!

Its a bit smaller Hmart but decent. Has the usual Korean and some Indian but light on Vietnamese food. Very heavy on Hispanic foods especially Salvadoran foods for some reason.

Large variety of international foods. Many fresh fruits and vegetables. There is a huge seafood section. They also serve hot Korean food.

Lots of items from different countries, fresh produce. Very reasonable price. They have membership program giving you like 1% cash back.

Best fish and produce for all markets I shop. Fair prices on most meat and you can find exotic cuts and parts for pork, beef, and chicken.

Rude cashier .no respect at all.there’s Guy and lady that are both rude(Spanish) i should get there name.you should train your people How to respect Customer .i told the manager but she told me what about it! They dont Value Customer.i hope this won’t happen to anyone!

Foods are very very very not fresh and the date is even expired. Very unpleasant with this experience. Won’t be here again.

I love this place specially buying food but they closed from 2:30 to 4:00 pm somehow the deli inside the store, And there was no sign anywhere . Lady said lunch. I called no answer, I always order carry out . Very disappointed, I had an office order of about 10 dishes .

Typical HMart but it has a collection of Hispanic and Indian food stuff. Nope usual food court, just a small Korean restaurant inside.

Way bigger and a better selection of Asian and international food than I expected. Prefer this over Lotte in Herndon.

Beware of the expiration date of the products. I ve purchased expired products at least five times here. what kind of grocery store doesnt check their inventory at all?? What in the world?? Why do you keep selling expired products? Im tired keep going back to the store. DO SOME QUALITY CONTROL.

Not quite as fancy as our HMart up on Long Island, but it appears to have just as large a selection. Theyre light on American groceries, but fill that space with Indian foods. Not at bad trade at all. The produce selection is just as expansive.

Good veggies, and groceries but manager special dishes are awesome! 5 dollars for 1 dish that can feed 2 people! I just wish some of their veggies were slightly cheaper like their snow pea leaves. Also, bring back the Buddha beer for a reasonable price!

I like this place as it’s near my home. Some items are cheaper here.

Rude managing staff, rest of the workers speak not a word of English. No one in the store knew where dried prunes were or tea bags. After 50 minutes of searching I was told they dont have it but more searching I found one product but no Lipton tea. Prices are much higher and dried fruits are like centuries old, very hard to bite and stale smell and taste. When I wanted to return some of the unopened dried nuts and fruits imported from India they had real bad and rude attitude I just left it at their counter to them and told them to eat it. A gift from my money which they did not want to refund. This store is a mess ! And the music so loud that you feel like you are in a bar or club. I guess they apply Korean ways in all aspects. I prefer the other store known as Fresh something by CVS on elden st. Prices and products much better in every way.

This store is full of great Korean products. During this COVID 19 pandemic, they supplied gloves, masks, and clean carts.

If you havent been to an H-mart yet, prepare to be amazed at the amount of good stuff they have available.

Well stocked and fair priced grocery store 🏪.I bet nowhere else you will find such collection of vegetables ( particularly the green 🌿🍀 ones. ) and fruits.

The cashiers are probably the slowest people on the planet, but I can always find what I need at H Mart. The gimbap is cheap and perfect for a quick lunch.

Noodle noodle noodle noodle! Love it. We come here to get some of our favorite foods that we cant get elsewhere, or else are too pricey elsewhere. The produce department is so diverse. Come try something new! If you are stuck in the house, come buy something and look up recipes for it online. Expand your culinary horizons.

Store is always being stocked and is full of a variety of products - I like being able to shop for a variety of cultural food. However, they should manage their fresh stock better - fruits/veggies were rotting so even fresh items had either flies or juice/slime and the fresh packaged noodles I had to search variations of what I was looking for because there was blue mold throughout many packages which dont have expiration dates. And although they had some manager special meats packaged, when they were out, customers were trying to get their own and touching meats next to containers.

This is a nice store. It used to be a Giant a while back. Back when it was a Giant, it was my first ever grocery store. I got memories of this place.

I love the variety of product they provide but tonight the manager behaved completely inappropriately. The store closes at 9 and at 8:55 the manager came to me to tell me they were closed. I asked him about a product I was looking for and he ignored me. He then proceeded to follow me through the store, to the register and until I had paid for my items. Multiple times I told him I didn’t appreciate him following me and asked him to stop and he ignored me. He stood behind me until I checked out (though there was multiple other people checking out as well). I was literally out of store and in my car by 9 pm, which is their closing time. I should have just left all my product at the register and not given them my business, but I definitely won’t be giving them my business anymore. The manager needs to learn what appropriate behavior is and how to treat his clients.

They have a great bakery and they have good prices if you need to purchase seafood foreign foods or basic essentials. Friendly employees.

Produce sprayed with a lot of water and packed in plastic bags with moisture trapped inside which made leafy produce rotten in there. I wouldnt recommend to go there if you plan to buy a lot of leafy veggies. In addition, we checked out right before they close, the cashier was extremely rude. We asked the cashier to double-check the price, she said that this is common sense that the price listed so low was meant to be for one unit although the staff didnt unpack it just stacking them on the shelf. This is not the right way of doing customer service! After this terrible experience we probably wont come back again.

Hmart is best known for its offering of ingredients needed for Asian cuisine, but this Herndon location has an equally good mix of the things needed to cook cuisine from Latin countries and India. Probably the best place to buy produce too.

Great store. Many Asian food markets will have a strong fish odor, but this place does not smell at all despite the variety of fresh seafood options.

This H-Mart is a one stop shop for all your vegetables, meats, condiments, kitchen supplies, etc. They have the widest selection of meats compared to other markets in the area. They have the regular frozen section, the typical refrigerated meat, and also a section for fresh meat similar to a butcher. They also have a weighted Korean BBQ bar where you can pick how much marinated meat you would like by the pound. The only reason why I am giving this 4 stars is because of the cleanliness in the vegetable and fruit area. Otherwise, plenty of parking and wide selection of items.

This is by far the worst Hmart location ever I’ve visited. Worst customer service. One issue that I keep having (almost every single time) is the price tag. Don’t get fooled with the promotion price tag - I don’t think it never gets updated in the system and also they do not check or update their price tags. When I complained for being charged more than what it said on the price tag, a customer service rep told me “LOOK AT THE PROMOTION DATES, IT WAS EXPIRED COUPLE DAYS AGO” Interesting response.

Have not being keeping up to the mark lately. Always huge line even though they have many counters they open only couple.Always under stocked as well

I will stop by for a quick to-go lunch from either their premade food table or their new in-store food court. They have a wide selection of food and I have purchased their marinaded meats for an easy dinner.

I love H Mart. Their Asian produce is unmatched for quality. You can always find what you need and also find things you didnt know you needed.

Good Price and we got Saunf Rusk first time in USA. Thanks to H- Mart.

Awful customer service when their check out system went down. The most difficult staff member trying to fix it? The manager. I’ve shopped here since they opened. Sad to see it’s gone downhill some much. Most Hmart’s are so nice. Not this one.

A LOT OF GOOD ASIAN FOOD W AFFORDABLE PRICE. I DONT MEAN BEING RACIST THO, THE SPANISH STAFFS ARE FRIENDLY BUT THE KOREAN THERE ARE SO MEAN THERE WITH ALMOST NO SMILES AT ALL ! I was told by one of the Korean guy there was no whole milk but when I checked myself, I found it still there. Figured out later, they were about to close, but they should still be honest totheir customers.

This Hmart is not like the traditional HMART. It has half Latino products and half Asian. Bakery (panderia) in the back. Not bad good vegetables. Less kimchi than I expected. Poor social distancing. While my friend and I were on line, the husband of the cashier on #6 stood directly behind my friend. He did not have on a mask. I asked him to keep the social distance. He refused to move back away. My friend concerned for her safety moved close to me and away from this man. I told the cashier that this was unacceptable. Management was not responsive. Left my purchases.

Their herbs are absolutely great. It was what I was looking for.

A slight bit different from others. They do speak English, even if one may have a Hispanic face! They dont seem to believe that a Hispanic face is incapable of communication in English. It truly is very encouraging for those who wish to practice the English language.

This location has a lot of things, but unlike other H Marts that have a lot of East Asian groceries in addition to general U.S. groceries, this location is focusing on Indian & Arabian foods with low supply of general U.S. groceries. The place is well organized but has a developing country vibe to it and cashiers do not speak English at all. A manager is Korean who speaks some Spanish but there seems to be a lack of willingness for a manager to try communicating with employees. (This seems to be somewhat of an overall culture of H Mart.) Any problem between manager and employees are discussed over repeating eh? eh? with some gestures until they give up and say we dont know

Awesome selection of East Asian, Middle Eastern, and South Asian foods and products. Amazing prices. Some of the freshest and most unique veggies and fruits on the market. We love stopping at this place when in the area.

Very good place to buy groceries

This place is pretty unique. Was pleasantly surprised to find the unique and great selection of Asian traditional food; Japanese noodles, Indian spices, and all other types of snacks, drinks, and grains from many countries. Enjoyed the experience, although the setup is a bit tough to navigate at first. Cool place, Ill be back to check out more options.

Food and groceries and more from A lot of different places. Fruit and vegetables are always fresh. And they have their own bakery making delicious sweet bread.

I know H mart as korean grocery store kind of shock when I went to this location majority this store is like Spanish grocery store. The quality of meat ready to cook (Bulgogi, etc) not so great compared the one in Fairfax, Centreville, Annandale. The neat of this store too crowd. I bought instant noodle and found out already expired. The good thing about this place just their location close to my home. I dont think I will back again specially if Im looking korean stuff. Disappointed! They should change the name of the store.

Exotic fruit is always available

Mega Grocery store catering to international cuisine. Many items I have never seen before and I do not know the use of. Everything from chicken feet to live lobster. I have some exploring to do. The aroma of unusual (to an American) spices and produce is a bit strong.

I fish could be better. Compared with other H mart

HMart famously known for Asian items but this specific store has more Indian & Latin America products. It does have wide variety of fish and meat. Good store to buy fresh veggies and fruits too. I wasnt able to find soju, Kitkats, matcha tea etc. which is something every Hmart is known for. I bought few Indian snacks. minimum variety of noodles and packet noodles. Not even half an aisle. I opened one of the big banana chips pack for 7$ and it had already turned bad. I tired to reach out to the store but they are least interested and ready to hear you over the phone.

Quality food from around Asia and North and South America. As someone who has lived around the world, this place has a very loved business model. Never had a negative interaction with the staff. Just needs to update aisle labeling signs.

This new H-mart looks as if it is still in process. There are some large swaths of refrigerated space filled with way more sodas than necessary and a few aisles where it looks as if they arent done adding different types of stock. I am hoping they will expand their seafood section because that is one area where a lot of the H-marts really shine.
