I was in search of a cabinet company for my guest bathroom and kitchen and was referred to Absolute. Aside from the quality of cabinetry design, their customer service was wonderful. From the time you call the office up to completion of job they walked me through every detail and cost of the job. I am very pleased with the outcome and would contact them again when I need additional work done
Avi was very pleasant and confident. The rest of the crew are very nice, but our experience was horrible. I never give bad feedbacks but this time is a must. I would feel very guilty letting good people waste their money without me sharing my experience. Do NOT consider going with them! Here are just a few of many issues:1. Promised what we wanted but brought very different style2. Months to deliver, more months to finish (I will have to fix a lot of their work)3. Doors do not align and wobble even after they tried to fix several times (weeks)4. Very cheap finish on the box and fragile facing.5. Different size handles on two doors but wont change because would have to change doors6. Made false promises in order for us to be willing to continue. We are stuck with a very expensive, tiny kitchen that looks good from far but is far from good.
We wanted to renovated the scond bedroom in our apartment, to office room . So we got Avi the owner of Wood Apslot to do the job.It was the best decision we made!!!!!!The closest he made come beautiful!!!Smart use of storage space with an elegant look!!!! He finished the job quickly, few days 😮The stuff works clean and professionally!!!Thank you Avi .
We signed a contract with Avi Avni, the owner of Absolute Wood Creations LLC, in the middle of August for a three week renovation of a condo. He claimed to be a professional, responsive, punctual and efficient contractor. However, during the first three weeks after the contract was signed not much happened. The delay was explained by blaming the slow process to secure a permit from the City of Aventura. When I went to City Hall myself I found out that he never even had applied for a permit. He was lying to us. I also found out that he charged four times more for the permit than the City of Aventura. Finally he applied for a permit one month after signing the contract. The installation of the new tile was done professionally except in one bathroom where the tiles were put down without consideration for matching the tile design patterns. Next his ceiling popcorn removal crew completed their task without putting protective covers on the new tile floor or kitchen appliances. They caused an irreparable mess and didn’t remove the popcorn in three closets. The plastering and painting work was terrible. One living room wall showed a horizontal band of unevenness; Avi’s comment was “what do you expect for your low budget” and then offered to fix it for an additional $500. Ten weeks after signing the contract his unsupervised untrained minimum-wage workers finally mounted the closet doors and started to install two vanities. None of the closet doors were properly aligned. One vanity had a large leak and its two doors had different colors and sizes. The faucet on this vanity was too large so that most of the water ended up on the floor instead of in the sink. Their web statement “We pay close attention to every detail” is a big joke. Twelve weeks after signing the contract, this unprofessional, unresponsive, non-punctual and inefficient crook contractor left the condo and we had to terminate the work ourselves. But the nightmare was not over yet. Thick spots of plaster needed to be removed from windows and floors. The nearly new blinds of the living room were found on the dirty floor surrounded by garbage; other blinds needed to be installed. The coils of the one-year old AC system were filled with dust and needed an expensive cleaning. All five star reviews of this company are very short, suspicious and probably completely fake. Use Absolute Wood Creations at your own risk; they have no business to be in business in Aventura.Description of Work: Renovate a 1,100 square feet condo including demolition of existing floor and removal of popcorn ceiling & wall mirrors throughout the unit, install soundproof, install baseboards, install new tile, supply and install two new vanities with countertops/mirrors/faucets, plaster and painting the full apartment (ceilings, walls and trims), acquire permit, fix cabinet doors in hallway. Total value of this project was about $22,000.
