I have used Luggage Repair Center two separate times and both of the customer service experiences have been amazing. Scott responds quickly and is more than accommodating. I highly recommend this business and will continue to use it for any problems that arise.

I usually dont write reviews but the customer service was great! My wife and I travel a lot and I had a matching set of 4 Samsonite that had clearly gotten good use. I was considering buying a new set because there was minor things wrong with every piece luggage, a good friend of mine recomended taking it to this place so I decided to try it and that was the best decision ever. I received my luggage free shipping at home 1 week later and they look great! Everything is fixed and I am super happy that there is still great companies that do great jobs! Thank you! Very expensive some stitches, they 12 days to do sloppy job, i went pick up my bag it wasn’t readythey left glue residue on expensive bagi wouldn’t return or recommend this to nobodyi rather take to shoe repairso angry and disappointed

Our 28” roller bag was recently damaged when disembarking our cruise. Scot and his team at The Luggage Repair Center did an amazing job stitching up the bag and even delivering it back to us at our hotel in only 3 days so we had it for our flight home, I would definitely recommend their expert services and would not hesitate to use them in the future. I am so happy a friend told me about this amazing place. My luggage was broken and I wasn’t able to find the warranty. They took care of it anyway and managed directly with Delsey to get me a replacement luggage.

The people at Luggage Repair Center are great. The first time I used them was actually for a backpacking bag (I’m involved w the Boy Scouts, we camp a lot). I was given a 65L North Face for free(!), but it was virtually useless because the hip belt D-loop was broken and couldn’t hold tension. I called around town on a whim that someone could help me. It was a pleasant surprise when the person over the phone was 100% familiar w different sizes, grades, and types of buckles/loops. Those loops need to be stitched in w industrial sewing machines. I couldn’t even tell how they fixed it when it came back but everything was perfect, including some blown zippers they also replaced. I gained a backpack that probably retails for around $200 just for the repair price of $20!DON’T THROW AWAY BROKEN BAGS YOU STILL LIKE! These guys can fix it! Even women’s handbags!

I needed a new 29 suitcase. I remembered that the store owner had offered me a better price than the stores would. So now I went in to buy the suit case and get a garment bag fixed. The wheels had dry rotted and where falling apart. He fixed the garment bag and left it better than new. I cant wait till my new suitcase arrives. Great service and awesome prices and a warranty thats hard to beat. Thanks guys for the great work.

There is no better place in the US to get your luggage repair or replacement, I have used this place for years now. The service is 5 ⭐Scott (the owner) is great and made my life so simple after struggling to repair my Samsonite for months in other states.I would totally recommend you go to the Hialeah store to get the job done quickly.

Took a Samsonite suitcase for zipper repair, they said it was an easy fix and that they will secure the handle, after 20 days they send the suitcase in the same shape zipper broken and handle loose. They charge for partial repair and said that Samsonite will cover the rest of repair with warranty.upgrading to 3 star review as I went back to the store and the fix my bag in 3 minutes and ordered a new luggage by warranty that i got a week later, at the end they did the job and replace my bag, but because of my review. Still will recommend them.

You never go into a place like this and expect it to be enjoyable. But the guy there was really nice and professional. A matter-of-fact reasonable fellow. Plus they mail you the fixed luggage for free! That’s bananas. Highly recommended.

Horrible horrible service experience, It have been 3 months since my luggage send to repair with warranty, and no luggage has been received, every time, I called them to ask the status of my luggage, they say they will send in two days, but never received a tracking number by email. But after having repaired my Samsonite luggage at Luggage Repair Center, I found the service I received was professional, fast, and excellent. Here was my experience:-Professional service. The people who work their understand luggage and were able to quickly diagnose the problem. They understand luggage and could quickly identify the defect. They promptly wrote up a work order and assured me they would handle it-Fast turnaround. The defective wheel on my luggage was repaired quickly and way before the date that I expected to receive it by. I got it mailed to me within 4 business days! I expected way longer than this-They handled all the paperwork and made it an easy-to-do-business with experience for me.-To have the luggage mailed to me was amazing. I never expected this level of service. I expected to have to return to pick up the repaired luggage. To value my time in this way was a huge surprise and bonusMy expectation is that I wont have to visit a Samsonite repair center again to repair my Samsonite luggage, but if I have to then I would have no hesitation in returning here. I had used this place twice previously with excellent results. This time, however, has been a disaster! I took my suitcase to be repaired in early February, 2014. After not hearing anything for a couple of months, I called and called and called. I was told the part was not in, the part had to been ordered, we dont know if we can get the part - on and on. I called 3 or 4 times before April. On 5/7/2014 they put a charge on my MC for $72.10. I called to ask them what it was for. They said it was for the part. It is now 9/17/2014 and I still do not have my repaired suitcase. It took between 4 and 5 months to order a part! More phone calls. I never get any answer except that they will call back, and they never do call back. The place is stacked to the ceiling with suitcases. I aways thought it was cause they were so busy, that everyone used them. Now I suspect those are suitcases that have been there for years, that they have never repaired and that the suitcase owners are furious.

It may be an interesting option if your piece of luggage is super expensive. If you own a fairly priced bag/roller-board, then it’s better to just buy a new one online. I’m not trying to uncredit what they do, but it’s just too expensive for any repairs if your bag costs less than $100-$150.

Do not take your luggage or bags to get repaired at this place. If there was a below Poor-Fair I would have given it that rating. To start of, I was referred to this place by a store I attempted to get my bag fixed at. It was a little out of my way but I figured why not. It was the worst decision of my life. I arrived there and find a dirty poorly kept office, with random luggage everywhere. Lets just say it is disorganized to be such a reliable company. I asked them if they could fix my bag and they said the technician was out to lunch so I would have to leave it there then wait for a phone call from them the following day. I got a paper receipt and was sent on my way. 3 days passed by and I did not hear from them. I decided to call and ask nicely if they found out if my bag could be repaired. The same man who took my bag answered and was very rude. He sounded disgusted to hear me ask if my bag was able to be fixed. He gave me a rude remark and told me he was with a costumer at that moment and that I would receive a call back. Never heard from them again that day. Now a week later my patience with them had started to deteriorate. I called again in hopes that I wouldnt get rudely spoken to. This time a woman answered and put me on hold to FINALLY ask the technician if anything could be done about my bag. She comes back to inform me that nothing can be done and to pick it up. In shock I informed her how long Ive been waiting just to hear an answer and kindly asked again if anything can be done. I was then put on hold again until the man who I previously spoke to got on the line and may I emphasize RUDELY told me nothing could be done and to pick it up. Never would I recommend this garbage unless you like being spoken to in a rude manner. Horrible Costumer Service.

Luggage Repair is fantastic. I brought in some luggage that needed some minor repair. The owner, Scott, said he would see what he could do for me. About a week later, brand new replacement luggage showed up at our door - with no charge to me. What incredible customer service and satisfaction. The experience I had with the company was nothing but perfect. The ladies in the office were very friendly and professional. I was advised it would take approx. 2 weeks to have my luggage returned. I just received it a day later. The repair was done and perfect. I will return there for more service if needed and recommend them to all my friends and family.

Drop off the piece to replace the wheels......10/26/19......after almost 3 weeks got it back today, ask the ower last week (thursday) if was possible to have it ready for saturday and his anwer was impossible .....not very polite when the repair was promised for 10 days......

Was able to get in and out within 15 minutes and the best part was that they figured out I was under warranty and filled out all of the paperwork and shipped it out at no charge. Carolina was really nice and clear about what I should expect from Samsonite and instructions on what to do if I had any issues.

Worst experience ever.Samsonite sent my luggage to this repair center and it took a month for them to figure out they lost it.When I scale it to Samsonite they found my bag and said that they would do a “courtesy “ repair for a flat tire, just ignoring the other major issue in the bag, zipper border was ripping off.In the end they even wanted me to pickup instead of sending back to my address.The person responsible for this messy “support “ was Scott.

I had a broken tire on my suitcase & they were able to fix it within 2 days but they are extremely professional probably to the highest degree. This place is the pits! I gave them a piece of luggage over two and a half months ago and have not heard a word from them. I submitted an inquiry using their online form with a promise of a response within 24 hours....never heard back and that was over a 6 or 7 weeks ago. I stopped in at the Ft. Lauderdale store where I brought my luggage to be repaired and was promised a call back...never heard a word...over two weeks ago. I just stopped in the store again, and got no satisfaction.I called the Miami number and someone finally picked up and promised me a call back from the manager within a half hour. Never heard back and now the line is just busy all the time. I just want my luggage returned without repairs and cannot get it back from them or any indication that they care at all about the situation. RUN DONT WALK AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS!!

I have been bringing my luggage to Scott at Lugggage Repair for over 20 years. I had lifetime warranty Lark rollbags that were continuously and meticulously restored like new and then replaced under warranty by similar Samsonite luggage. Every bit of work was done with excellent craftsmahip, restoring the luggage to ‘like new’ condition. I continue to have my Samsonite luggage serviced here and will do so as long as I own luggage. You can’t beat the service and workmanship!

Super service. There was a problem repairing my large, wheeled, Ricardo suitcase, that came from Costco. They replaced my damaged-dented, 3 wheeled, somewhat worn, 3 year old suitcase with a (what seems to be) new Samsonite of equal or better value. I couldnt be happier. Superior customer service.They are authorized repair reps for all major brands, so most work is free/cheap if under warranty.

They have had my luggage since 11/28/15. I got a repair quote from them and gave them the go ahead to repair them all. As of February 11th 2016, I still did not have my bags. I had sent numerous e-mails and called and left messages. Eventually, after all that time and after I e-mailed them that I am taking this matter further did someone call me and tell me that they have not repaired them and they cant. Samsonite has a lifetime warranty, and when I asked about this I was told that I could buy new luggage at a discounted price. I told her to return my bags, which I received only 2 bags out of 4 on the 12th February. So to conclude, my luggage was with them for nearly 3 months and they are still broken. I find this absolutely shocking and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Got Doubts?? Fear not... The Luggage Repair Center is GREAT!!I own a Samsonite Black label Cosmolite. In other words its expensive. So imagine my surprise when the wheel broke off. And, just before our upcoming cruise!! Since my wife likes to pack everything including the kitchen sink we had no choice but to find a way to get the bag fixed. We went on the Samsonite website which directed us to The Luggage Repair Center and Jessica Kustan at the 2549 E Sunrise Blvd Ft Lauderdale FL location.I explained to her the problem. I also explained that I needed the bag back by a certain date. ( About 2.5 weeks away ) She was very nice and took a picture of the problem, had me fill out a form and off I went. My wife seriously doubted we would get it back in time. I am VERY happy to say that not only did I get it back in time, but I got it back early shipped straight to my front door EARLY. WOW!! Yes..My wife is now very happy as am I. Thank you Scott in the Hialeah location and Jessica in Ft Lauderdale location. Thank you Luggage Repair Center. And Thank you Samsonite for hiring a good company to repair your bags.
