Before hiring Surface Workshop we met with a few companies. Surface was the only one excited about our ideas and the challenges of our project. Their attention to detail and the quality of their craftsmanship is rarely found in Miami. The entire process was smooth, calibrated and exciting. Their installers who came to our house were professional, true carpenters, and extremely tidy. I cant refer them enough, the photos speak for themselves!

I showed up with a sketch and left with a beautiful custom made kitchen counter. They even went the extra mile and mounted the double sink and faucet. Easily the best in Miami!

We hired Surface Workshop to help with our kitchen redesign. We thought we were going to get great craftsmanship from what we saw of their work. This was sadly not the case. There were significant errors in the construction of our cabinets and the workmanship installing them was sloppy. First of all, they placed a countertop seam right in the middle of our counter. They cracked one of the cabinets. They didnt align the doors. They built a weird protruding segment underneath the oven which doesnt align with the rest of the cabinets. Then also put the door handles on without removing the protective plastic underneath and left it. Despite all these errors, the company refused to do any fixes because they didnt have any profit left in the job. These guys claim to have a lot of experience, but I dont understand how people with experience can make the kinds of clumsy errors they made. There are probably much better cabinet makers out there to be found.
