AC Moore closing in Hickory NC less then a week. My daughter bought $150 for $40. Presents Christmas birthdays Yarn for her. So much more. Sad they are closing.

This is a very crafty store that has almost anything you need. I prefer it here better than Hobby Lobby because AC Moore offers discounts to school teachers and HL does not. Lighting in the store could be brighter to see all the stuff you didnt know you needed till you got there. It would be really nice too if there was more than one check out at a time! I know its streaky going from no line to 10 person line in minutes but the wait makes people walk or worse not come in.

Always well stocked no matter the time of year. My wife and daughters love to shop here and it is one of our go to places whenever we visit Hickory. Employees are super helpful. And there is always an online coupon to use. Since my wife is a teacher she also gets an extra discount, which is super nice.

I cannot say enough about AC Moore Arts and Crafts store. They have everything I need to make any thing I desire to make. There is paints, canvases, scrapbook supplies, candy making supplies, cake baking and decorating supplies, yarn, seasonal items and so much more. The prices are good so I can get lots of crafting supplies. You will not regret visiting A C Moore.

One of my favorite craft stores. Its never packed like hobby lobby but has most of the same stuff minus the decor. The employees are usually friendly too! I had questions where 2 items were and she walked me to both of them.

The store is clean and everything is laid out in a way thats easy to find. One of the best things is they have a 55% digital coupon and free shipping from their website.

Great variety of yarns and other craft supplies. The cashiers are friendly. Its very warm in the store, which made me cut my shopping time short. Now I know why the staff wears short sleeved shirts even when its 40° outside, its like 80° inside. Customers arent dressed for that, we have sweaters and coats on.

Service bad....one girl checking 10 people in li e other girl cleaning check outs....over charged me on sale items. Should have been watching her ring me up....havent been there in 6months because of bad service and mistakes will not return again other craft store s in area.

Frustrated, often trying to sort out the deals is complicated. This time i mentioned a promotional sign that was up and it was taking awhile for the cashier to find out so i told her i would go back and look rather than hold up the line. Sure enough though the cashier said the sign was for the next week after she finished ringing me up and i went to look the sign had been taken down by another associate.
