I absolutely love Publix. Great choices and prices. Super friendly staff and well kept.
New to the area and happy Publix is so close.I must say however, Ive been in there 3 times in a week (we have lived here for 1 week) andI must have bad luck because Ive had to deal with a front end associate who was not friendly, a cashier who was not friendly and a man bagging groceries who was a little discombobulated is the only word I can think of! I literally rebagged everything when I got to my vehicle.So strange after always having pleasant interactions in Statesville Publix.I will say that the associate at customer service was very friendly. I am thankful for her today. 🙂I think next week Im going to give Lowes Food a try.
I was on the Publix and was told my store could have cooked rack of ribs with some notice. I went to the store/deli area. I asked and the gentleman (60ish thin mustache glasses)sent me to the meat department, even though there were single servings of ribs . The meat department said anything cooked came from the deli area. Made sense. I went back and was polite and asked again the gentleman acted irritated and shrugged his shoulders. I know things happen but no excuse. I wasn’t going to get upset. Just left. I got great ribs, they just came from lowes foods As a Publix fan. Very disappointed
First time customer. Bought beautiful, affordable flowers as a gift. The staff was VERY pleasant at checkout.
Good variety of foods. They have the largest chicken breast strips for sale in Catawba County. They are served at the hot bar counter. Servers are very pleasant people and helpful. If you like chicken strips this is the place to buy them. Thats the honest truth.

Fabulous hidden gem, just 10 minutes from Hickory. Staff is willing to help, or simply stand back and let you peruse the cute booths. Something for everyone, unique jewelry, vintage finds, rare antiques, flower arrangements/wreaths, clothing and a bargain basement! Sales going on in most of the well merchandised booths.
I enjoy shopping at Publix for their produce section as well as the international section. They have more items to choose from and try than any other grocery store in Hickory. Sometimes their prices are a little higher than other stores, but if you shop their sales it is great! The employees are nice and very helpful as well.
I online ordered a birthday cake. The navigation online was easy. All the details I chose for my cake was verbatim on the actual cake. It was beautiful, on time and correct
Had some cupcake done for gender reveal and it looked like my 8 years old daughter went in to do it. She probably would have done a better job putting icing on it. They went cheap on the icing as well even the cashier notice it and commented on it how they could have done better. Never again will use Publix for cupcakes or cakes related.
I cant stress enough the need for businesses to not only obtain and retain employees that actually care about their jobs but also those that actually clean and keep cleanliness at the top of their priorities when working at an establishment. Publix has always held probably the top of the standard when it goes to grocery stores and they have not failed since I have been going there. That being said all the cashiers and actually any one of the employees tend to be very friendly and if you need assistance more than apt and willing to help you.
This was my 1st time in this location and I wand I would have to say its like any other Publix (over-rated). The employees were superb. Jill and Jason were superb with all their suggestions and information about deli items.
Store is always clean. Bakery breads always fresh and the employees are so nice. Never an unpleasant experience. Love shopping here.
I love Publix. Their prices are a bit higher than other places but the variety and freshness make up for it. I will say I was disappointed in their bakery. I got a couple of cannolis and a pumpkin pie. The cannoli shells were hard and the filling was thick and taste like paste. The pie had a weird almost metallic taste to it.
Customer service is great. Very friendly and respectful. Very clean and organize! I love the different variety of foods, snack, etc that walmart and target dont have.
Didnt shop here. But did meet meet up with someone in the parking lot, which is really nice. Its actually one of the nicest parking lots Ive met people halfway at. Will definitely park here again.
This is my favorite grocery store. Everyone is always nice, and has smiles on their faces. First place Ive even been to that I always have a great experience
We love the produce here and the customer service is outstanding! Every time we go here everyone in my family is treated so well we feel like celebrities when we leave. This place is setting the standard for customer service in any situation. Which means a lot when one of the people shopping is a senior who needs help with certain things.
I love shopping here!!! Besides the great selection of products, their customer service is superb!!! Every single time I walk in, I am always greeted and if I need help, there are always folks to help me find what I am looking for. Cant find this level of customer service anywhere!!!

Admittedly, I dont go over here as much as I do some other stores. But whenever I do, everything has been good. I do like that they have some unique items over there that you cant find it other stores. Especially in the international aisles.

Publix has always been a clean and fantastic shopping experience. The staff is always courteous and the food is always fresh. Ive been enjoying Publix for years further down south in Charleston SC. Having one here in Hickory is great.
This store has items you cant get anywhere else. Enjoy finding extra unadvertised sale items / bogo. Its like finding hidden treasures. Thankful for the low sodium options in the Deli meat / cheese department. Lifestyle changes are difficult enough without having to run all over town to find special items needed due to health care issues. Sugar free is another plus for this store. Keep up the good work and remember your customers with health concerns when stocking the shelves. Thank you Publix !!!

I love this place. I came & the young lady that bagged my groceries helped walk(pushing the shopping cart) them to my car. As we were coming out of Publix, my sons shoe came untied & when he told her he didnt know how to tie his shoe, with her sweet & kindhearted self she tied my sons shoes & told him I dont want you to fall sweetie with a smile on her face.. We had a convo about children & then about Subarus,lol. And we parted ways with laughter.. I cant remember her name but when I go again I will look for her.. I currently live inn Mexico and live it but it was a treat to visit Publix today. Such a nice store but the big difference between Publix and other super markets in the US and its the attitude of the employeesThey are pleasant, helpful and a delight to deal with!

When we travel to Hickory we very seldom miss running by Publix for their Apple Flipp. If you like apple flitters you must try the flipp. Enjoy and Stay Safe

Love this super market. after shopping we noticed as we were on the way home that my wife had dropped her phone. I called the store and a nice young man told me after I told him what kind of phone she had lost that they had it. we went back and he gave it to us after I described it to him. very pleased.

The old jingle where shopping is a pleasure still stands true here! They had all of the hard to find vegan foods I was looking for and everyone was so friendly and willing to help me find items on my list! Clean, Variety and Fresh produce! A young gentleman walked me out to my car and loaded it up for me. I drove 30 minutes to visit Publix for all these reasons!! ❤️
Clean, well lit, well stocked store. There is a wide selection with most items which is always nice! I think every employee (that I saw) there this morning said good morning! Prices are about the same as Lowes across the street except for sales or BOGOS. I shopped there for items I can not get at my usual market.
