Good service. Easily found what we needed.. staff was friendly and helpful. Its clean but disordered at times. Piles of unpacked boxes infront of the shelf in the back. I understand theyre likely low on staff. Really its a very small inconvenience. So still a great place to shop.

At Halloween it’s never looked this bad !!! They said Corporate pushed them back plus they have no help. Corporate should help the workers out this is just awful.

I’m not sure if they are just short staffed like everywhere else or what, but where is the management here?? There were open boxes and stuff thrown EVERYWHERE to the point I think they literally just wanted us to shop out of the boxes. Most Halloween stuff didn’t even have prices displayed either so I had to look up on the website to find a price for items. I just don’t understand…it was such a mess and I’d be so embarrassed if I was the manager there. We went there looking for Halloween decorations but they barely had any out and it’s already October… We will definitely not be back. We will try the one in Mooresville or a Halloween store if we need anything.

Well we walked in and no one greeted us and asked if we needed any help. I came for two celebrations that im planning. When I went to check out, the cashier whose attitude was completely disrespectful but had nails so long she couldnt even bag stuff. Her attitude was like she didnt want to be there. Not a hey or how are you or thank you. We used to come here often but after today I will be sticking with walmart or some were else. Absolutely the worst customer service I have had.

I will not be back here to buy anything. Spent over 60 dollars in balloons and as soon as I get them home I see they r deflating. To the point I had to go back out fast to the dollar store to buy balloons because party starts in ten minutes. This made me late to my own kids party. So when the father of my kid calls to complain. They tell him to bring the balloons back and they will discuss it then weather a refund is needed or replaced..... replaced really i need it then not a week from now......... i dont have time to come back today because its my kids birthday and they have wasted enough time today and I work for the next 2 weeks straight.....what they need is better management and to properly train there employees to do their the right way the first time.....will not be back

Found some great Fall decorations!

Very messy and unorganized. There were boxes laying all over the floor full of costumes toward the back of the store and an associate was very rude and said all the costumes were out on the floor. The cashier was friendly but overall it wasnt a good experience

More colorful stuff to see than you ever need to throw any kind of party. This store had a huge stock of things that you can buy and then throw away.

Decent costume and party supply store. They seem to have everything imaginable that you would need or want for a party (from decor, plates, balloons, etc. to costumes or dress up items). Of course theyre only party supply items so some items arent made very durable therefore unfortunately they arent made to last. Decent price range for party supplies and Halloween costumes. Would recommend shopping here.

Theyre hours show opened until midnight. It is 11 pm and its closed.

Drove an hour to this store to find out all there costumes were either a standard size or a plus size. When I was checking out the standard size the Older gentlemen working in the store pointed out to me a lady that was very skinny that the standard would fit her. Made me feel wonderful! I will never buy anything from this store. We left here and went to spirit of halloween with no issues and plenty of sizes. I didn’t realize being a medium made me fat!

Store has a good variety of party goods. My complaint here is that the doors are heavy and must be opened manually. Very hard for people with mobility issues and elderly. Trying to push a person in a wheelchair through the heavy doors is exhausting. Sadly, the cashiers will watch you struggle even when there are zero customers at the register. They could try to just be decent humans and help hold the door to allow someone to push a manual wheelchair in.

Thank you party city in hickory for blowing my balloons up so inconsistently that half of them didnt ecwn make it home.

Manage to find some Moana Party supplies. They were super helpful in helping since there wasnt much left. I wish they would keep summer stuff out a little longer since it doesnt end until September.

Great place to get party supplies. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is the balloons I bought were overfilled 1 popped before I got out of the parking lot and 2 more popped just resting against the ceiling of my home. All the latex balloons quit floating in less than 24 hours. Dollar tree balloons last longer and are cheaper

Everything we was looking for we pretty much found, but everything we found that we needed didnt have a price on it or was stuck all together randomly in a pile. It was a guessing game on the prices once we got to the register. The girl running it couldnt get anyone to go recheck the prices. They need to be more organized with the items they are trying to clearance!

You need to change the hours on your website. Drove 45 minutes to get here just to find a sign on the door that you dont open til 11 am. The website shows the store is open

All set for Halloween thanks to this store. You pay for the quality of the product. Would have been better had they had wigs for the costumes we were looking for

I found the wig I was willing to pay for its price. I like its bonnet design so I didnt have to deal with belts to adjust. I like that they allowed me to try it on first before purchasing it for my peace of mind.

I cant bragg on the Hickory Party City Store enough!! Their staff is always accommodating & friendly. Go see them for any party or balloon needs>(my favorite). They will take good care of you.

Had to wait a good while to get balloons inflated but it was super bowl weekend. Other than that I dont shop here often but when I do I never have any issues.

Rude and unprofessional staff . Went there a week before Christmas to get some color window markers for my staff at my job, asked the lady that was blowing up balloons for help & didn’t want to walk or show me where they were . Then I’m assuming a manager or associate of the store showed me after 5 min of looking myself but was not the kind I needed . Just go to Michaels . They act as though your wasting there $8.25 by asking for help . Won’t ever go back .

This was my first time going into party city and it was awesome. I went to get stuff for my 2 year old daughters birthday. They have a lot of awesome deals just around the holidays they dont have much party selections due to Halloween.

When buying costumes be sure all the pieces are there. wasted 70 minutes of gas and life having to go back then wait almost 20 minutes in store for them to make it right

Very busy! A good amount of costume items. I felt they may have been short staffed, because there were only 2 registers open and only 1 person to ask for help.

I do love this place for some hard to find items. It is really organized and has a lot of themes to chose from. I do find it a bit overpriced, but I definatly go there for specific character specially items that I cant find elsewhere.
