I went shopping here with my girlfriend and her daughters over the weekend. The store is clean, the staff is friendly, and the merchandise is organized accordingly.

Nice store. Unfortunately my sisters cell phones touch pad is going bad and when we called consumer cellular up they told her that this target was the nearest store to get a new phone. We went on their hickory store website and they showed over 20 phones for sale by consumer cellular. My sister drove all the way over to hickory only to be told they no longer deal with consumer cellular. If thats not false advertising I dont know what is. People should not have to call every store they wish to make a purchase at to see if they have what the store is advertising as being at that store irregardless of all the disclaimers. Bad day.

The particular location is a decent to okay store. Don’t expect good customer service or any cashiers. Oddly enough, I was shopping at Kohl’s in the same shopping center and they had more cash registers opened than this target. That’s not good.In stock isn’t great. Most of the displays are bare. Especially in men’s health and beauty aids.Had zero interaction with any employees. Had plenty stocking and doing other things, no one up front. Operates very similar to a Walmart, even though you pay a premium to shop here instead.I rarely shop at target, and this is the closest one to me, I’ll probably continue to use online sites to supplement any reason I generally go to target.

My Target Store, Hickory, NC, has a great selection, great prices with plenty of sale items. The store is super clean. And, the Staff Members are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! It doesnt hurt that theres a Starbucks inside, either!

Best pick up service I have experienced even the ones with the pick up towers isnt as good as what I experienced at Target. The associates at the Target in hickory North Carolina has been the nicest associates I have experienced at any store in Lenoir and hickory this year. If I can give them 10 Stars I would.

Sunday morning an hour after they opened, and the entire store was a disaster. Its obvious they dont clean before closing at night. Clothes on the floor, shoes all over the place, Starbucks cups on shelves (I counted 4), random items left behind when someone changes their mind.... Really disappointing. I was also surprised that self-checkout was my only option. Not one employee spoke to me, but there were 2 ladies standing around with LOTS to say about their coworkers. I cant say the clothing displays are ever that neat (not as bad as Old Navy though!), but I have a hard time believing all that damage was done in an hour.

Want to complain just a little……stopped at target in hickory today and there was 1 register open, but they had 2 people wiping down carts give me a break. Put a cleaning container so if people want to clean they can. Use the 2 people doing it at cash registers…………….

Fast curbside service

I don’t understand the logic, not only target, but the product I’m looking for shows up on the website as available but that is not always true. So the logic I am speaking of is, I have to go into the store for availability of a product because you won’t give that info on the phone. So in order to avoid foot traffic one would think that phone availability would be a priority, but it’s not. I have to go in to see if product is available and if it isn’t, i made a 20 minute trip for nothing. And on top of that I could be a-symptomatic and I just passed covid on to someone. 🤦🏽‍♀️. Whatever. Rant over.

Horrible customer service and order processing, I guess you have to work there to get the hard to find stuff. Be careful ordering for pickup they will not honor their orders

The Hickory Target never disappoints! Whether you shop in store, order pickup, or drive up, the associates are always friendly. The store is always clean and the Starbucks is a plus as well.

Shawna I just recently had lumpectomy for breast cancer and in search of sports bra support. Shawna went above and beyond she looked up different types in size I needed on line for me to order. Shawna also helped me find a bra so i could work next three days 12 hr shifts, since I am a nurse. Shawna doesnt know how much I appreciated her in a very difficult time in my life. I will never forget the kindness she gave me.

Place was a dump. Wanted to look at shoes and bathing suits and they were all over the floor. So unorganized and all over the place. Looked like there was an explosion.

Worse customer service ever! Ive never had a bad experience at Target until today. Guest Service desk offered zero help. I had to call the customer service number on the back of my credit card to get the issue resolved due to the fact their registered crashed.Corporate customer service helped. He stayed with me until it was resolved. But at the store level, theres a huge training opportunity.Will definitely be shopping at a different Target.

Love the store for everything EXCEPT the bathrooms! They are never clean and the automatic flushers don’t work/ hanging off the wall. Normally I can deal with it or hold it but with two toddlers I shouldn’t have an anxiety attack taking them to a bathroom in an otherwise clean store.

I was in and out in no time! and the employees were really nice.

Very BAD experience with team member in electronics. Lied to us and assured us that a tv in a damaged box was ok. Didnt offer to open it in front of us and assured us again that he had checked it when we wanted to open it. When we got it home and opened it, the tv was damaged and would have to be returned. This target is a 90 min. one way trip from where we live. I would not recommend this target at all.

First of all I love Target anyway, BUT I have to say all the employees here are very nice and helpful. Going shopping with a toddler is hard, especially a rambunctious boy. There have been times my little one got a bit carried away and the staff is always super cool about it, going to the checkout where all the candy and goodies are usually sets off a meltdown so to have people understand is always a plus. The staff always helps and they always have a smile, sometimes after a tough day we all need a little help and a smile! Thanks target and employees!! See ya soon!!

Easy to use the pickup feature. Quick and easy to find the pick up desk. I wish the store wouldve wrapped my mugs in a sales ad or something but they did put them in a bag separate from the other non breakable items. Everything was in great condition just wish they had been wrapped in case something had happened on my drive home.

For the last 2 Saturdays there have only been 2 registers open in addition to the self checkouts, the lines have been outrageously long. There no reason to make YOUR customers wait when there plenty of registers open. Staff your store...goodness knows Target makes enough money!

Got in, got what I needed. Had to ask for help and “Molly” was awesome at answering my questions. Even though there weren’t many check out lanes open, it went fairly quickly and the cashier was very nice.

I love Target and I drive 35 minutes just to shop here and avoid their blue competitor. The employees are very friendly here and the store is always clean. My daughter is hard to shop for so I end up returning a lot of things because I like to shop while she is in school. I have never had a problem returning anything.

Love the new upgrades. This has to be the most best place to shop almost everything. Many times have I been awestruck by the customer service. Honestly, this place feels like home.

Getting assistance with my online pick up order. After calling the store nine times, and being on hold for 32 minutes, someone from electronics was finally nice enough to walk up to the front to assist with my pick up order. Not to mention one of my two items was visibly damaged.

Would be a much better place if I didnt get chased down in the toy isle by an AT&T sales rep. On top of that it would have been nice to be left alone after explaining I just wanted to shop in peace. I literally just walked out without buying anything because Im so done with being hounded everytime I go to this store now. Its not like Im approaching electronics looking at phones. No ill literally br buying toys or baby supplies and they walk in front of me and interrupt what Im doing. Its obnoxious.

This Target had the exact items that I was looking for. Also I was able to find the items quickly. The shelves are always neater and easier to shop than Walmart. I chose to shop at Target instead of Walmart to purchase these items.

I love the green folders very much, They transport me to a tropical rainforest they hold wonders of all sorts, This is the only reason why i come here to restock my collection but really GREAT PLACE AND A GREAT LOCATION

Target pick up has been great. Friendly staff. But Im from another area and this Target does not even have 1/2 the selection that the other store I was used to going to has. Especially in the grocery area. Things as simple as not having a larger half and half (the 1/2 gallon size) and where Im from every store has that. Its not only that, their grocery selection is rather limited. They skimped in these areas (home/garden/grocery) to accommodate a rather large clothing selection for mostly women only and make up area. Men dont have quite the large selection. IDK this whole Target is weird to me I wish theyd rethink their layout and design and go with what the other stores are using.
