They have a wide variety of food products and the fresh sweets in the front are so good !!!
It’s the best one stop shop for all your favorite indian and Nepali groceries
Great selection of spices and all the essentials to prepare authentic Indian recipes.
Price is high. Bag of rice which I bought for 13.99, they sell the same thing for 19.99. Packet of Bhakarkhani biscuit bought for 2.99, same brand and packet, Indu selling for 4.99. Outrageos price. As soon as clock hits 7pm, sales people rush customers out who are already inside. Very RUDE.
Excellent place to find authentic Indian food. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Very nice store for desi groceries, clean and spacious unlike many other desi grocery stores. Well lit and staff was friendly.
Nice place to shop for Asian groceries at.
Great place to shop
Good food. Looks to me that could be a little more clear. But I still giving them 5 stars
They must increase staff.....over all good option in high point
A lot of the frozen food or even other processed food are either expired or the manufacturing/ expiry dates have been scrubbed off. Watch out for that. Otherwise, pretty good selection of items.
Their freezers don’t work. Most of the frozen stuff is thawed. We bought a bunch of it and opened gajar halwa immediately after reaching home. It had fungus in it. I am not yet sure about the other frozen food we bought.I asked the store employee about their freezer issue and it seemed like owners are aware of the situation. I am wondering why nothing was done if it’s a known issue. They can get into a serious legal issue if they keep selling thawed food.Worse experience ever....
Had been to the Indu store located on high point .Most of the stuffs are expired. I make sure I check dates before buying unfortunalty last time could not see the date as I was in rush after coming home checked it . As usual it was expired . we have to look for the receipt carefully because most of the items does not have price tags and over priced . The lady billed 800 gm Laxmi peanut for $5.99 . I saw it after coming home and 4lb peanuts are $ 8.99. Lot of difference . For 800gm paying 5.99 was worthless but cannot help it because they don’t have price tags on lots of items.
All I buy is few items at the store and i get it. I am not sure about other selection. The cashier lady is very helpful and humble every time I go. Great customer service. The owner must be glad to have such a great employee.
Ckean and well stock.
The staff is very friendly with AWESOME herbs
My favorite specialty Grocery Store, everything was great, I dont know where to start, and I was treated very well. I think one of those very special things that I did love was the quantity and low cost of the great variety of different type of flatbreads.
We were in the store today, the frozen items were not quite frozen and seemed thawed. We spoke to the clerk about it and were told that it was a know issue with their freezers. We bought some stuff and upon reaching home we noticed that the packaged haldiram gajar halwa had fungus on it. I am concerned what else is spoiled in their freezer. They should dump everything that is thawed. This is a very serious issue. I am dumping most frozen food that we bought in garbage.
It was wonderful. The staff works over there is very respectful and courteous. My my 5 stars to her.
Nice Quiet clean place to shop. Good price on ethnic Indian Nepal grocery. Theres a neat shop in the back.its always clean .Good place to get some goat meat etc.
I had a friend from Chicago visiting me in Mt. Airy where there is not an Indian Grocery. After visiting 2 other stores, this one had most of what she needed.
I got callaloo from here. I mean fresh callalo not can stuff. I love that you can get some produce that you are not able to find anywhere else.
They have fresh vegetables with the best prices. Nice customer service.
The veggie didnt look that fresh. They didnt have 2 things I needed
Great choices of Indian groceries. Very neat and clean. This location is definitely better than the original location.
As a West Indian, I am able to get some of the produce not available in the regular grocery.
Well, there is only Indian/Pakistani grocery store in town so they pretty much rule. Their staff is not helpful. Old one is pretty bad and very dirty, this one is new so far its clean and better than old one. You can get pretty much anything you need in this.
Carries all the stuff that the parent store on W. Market St does. Spacious and good layout
Very helpful especially on what to do with the produce
Huge variety and reasonable price. Almost every Indian grocery/food items are here.
Good Indian food, good selection, nice produce section
