Great and friendly customer service, from the time I called, to bringing my car in and even to picking my car up to go. What really took it to 5 stars is the quality of the workmanship and the overall experience. The fact that they were transparent with me throughout the whole experience is what I really appreciate. Not just another shop trying to cash out on you or cut corners. I came in to have my bumper fixed since I sometimes park in a not so car friendly city (you know its not car friendly when a lot of people are driving around with rubber bumper-protectors flapping in the wind while they drive!) But I came in they pointed out what needed to be done, and got the job done with quality and precision. (*And the quality has been tested since I drive down the turnpike everyday*) Very happy with the outcome and I would highly recommend.

Failed to meet promised deadline.Failed to explain in advance that the door being replaced will be used “junk yard” door and failed to give me a choice to pay for a brand new one out of pocket had I wanted to.Failed to align perfectly the new door with body of the car “a small gap can be seen”On the other hand, not that bad, car was fixed at the end of the day. Treated me with dignity. Gave me a free ride to fix something they didn’t fix the first time well.I don’t recommend them overall. I am sure there are better options out there.Edit: No, it is not a Ford. It doesnt matter at this point which car was it. This was an honest review and you got the choice already to have the job done perfectly (twice actually). And again, as trying to be an honest, you were so polite and fixed the car, thats why I gave 3 stars. I just wished you were more professional

This place, although hard to get to with its positioning on the street, is wonderful. The team here is very polite and accomodating and they operate swiftly and efficiently. Got into an accident on the Belt Parkway in NY and had a minor side sweep on my front left bumper area. Took it to Acme Auto Body because it was one of the places my Insurance recognized. It took a week to be fixed and I must say, it is definitely looking brand new. The experience was wonderful, customer service was excellent and they explained the breakdown of what was happening to my car and even explained again after my car was fixed. So far I have no issues and hope it stays like that for a long time. Overall, Im very happy with the outcome! They did an excellent job!

Having needed what I though was a significant amount of body work done, I called/drove to four different body shops. I found all of the pricing differences to be negligible, so I was really leaning towards whichever was geographically convenient.A friend insisted I call Acme Auto Body before committing elsewhere and Im glad he did. It was during the initial phone call, with Steve, that I knew where my business was going. Having not seen my car yet, he kept most things/pricing rather vague - but honestly, as long as he wasnt outlandishly far above the average estimate; it was a done deal. His personable approach, unlimited time, and willingness to field any/all of my questions was unparalleled. It was extraordinarily refreshing after my first few estimates and past experiences. From start to finish, the attention and care that I (and my car) was given was incredible. My perception of the standard auto related experience, has been far surpassed...Acme raised the bar. The work itself was also flawless. Further augmenting my experience, they repaired a relatively nasty scratch I had on the opposite side of the vehicle, stating it was easy enough considering we had the materials/labor in action for the collision repair. When asked, I was told, its complementary, you didnt ask for it. Easy money to be had, yet they understand the value of the customer relation - future business is worth more than a scratch repair.Acme will get any/all of my continued business and referrals. Brought my car to get repaired here as Geico has them as a recommendation, timing was in a fashionable timing. They helped with any questions or concerns i had. Mechanics were awesome very helpful with minor stuff on my car that i thought was off. Receptionist was nice and place was cleaned. Recommend them👍🏻

Went to them for the second time through our insurance company and they are very good. Steve went over and above to help me with some other minor issues which they could have ignored easily. I liked that way they are sincere. The customer service is far better than many other places that I have been to. I would definitely go back for my car issues.

My car was in an accident which was covered by the other drivers insurance. This was one of the places that the insurance company recommended. They placed me in a rental car with no hassle at all. George did a great job on the body work. They gave me the estimate and explained what they were going to do. These guys got me in and out in a timely manner, and I was treated in a professional way. My car looks like new, inside and out! I read the other reviews and I dont know what happened to those customers, but I am very happy with ACME. Ive been to other places that have done sloppy work. This place was not one of them. My son-in-law used them and he thought they did a great job, too!

Best service ever! Im not from the area but had an encounter with a pothole which damaged my wheel and suspension and couldnt drive home. Steve the manager fixed the car in one day and kept me updated with text messaging throughout the day. Because of Steves personal attention I was able to make it to my grandmothers surprise 100th birthday party. May not have been a big sale for the shop but to me it was huge!! Thanks Steve and team.

I love this autobody shop. My sister had her car repaired years ago there and it came out perfect. I wanted to get some minor stuff done and unfortunately they were always too busy to fix it anytime soon. When my car was in an accident, Acme and any other good autobody shop was booked up go over a month, I was stuck going elsewhere. I had to bring back my car multiple times and it still wasnt right. I went to Acme and spoke to Steve. Although it took a while due to the other shop I initially went to, Acme fixed my car and it came out great! I am so happy with the job they did and everyone I met there was so friendly.Update: I still recommend Acme, but unfortunately the clear coat on the corner of my bumper started bubbling up a while ago. Also, they did tell me they would buff out a paint issue on the roof, but they didnt, I think they simply forgot. Im not sure if they replaced the bumper brackets or not but it always pops out a little in the corner, which is where the clear coat issue is.

My neighbor had hit my car while it was parked and I went through his insurance and ironically its Geico. Ive used this shop once before years ago and they did a great job so I figured why not try them again. After a little issue with Geico about the repairs and having to bring the car back to Acme because of an error on the insurance companies part, I got the car back and it looks even better than when I dropped the car off. The work was done in a very timely manner might I add. Huge thanks to Steve and especially to Adam for making sure I was happy with the repair work. This is my go to body shop and I most definitely will refer people to them for any body work needs.

Perfect Place for your car!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I definitely would. Our insurance company recommended this shop to fix the shoddy repairs completed by another of their recommended shops. The damage to my husbands 2015 Subaru still wasnt correctly repaired after its visit to Acme; but to top it off, the shop told our insurance company that they finished the vehicle 4 days before it was actually finished, thereby causing us to be stuck paying nearly $200 in additional rental charges through Enterprise.Instead of doing the right thing and admitting that they missed their target delivery date (which wasnt even a big deal--if they wouldve just told our insurance company that--we have rental reimbursement, for Gods sake), they just went along with their own version of events and said the vehicle was finished on the original, projected date; and, instead of picking it up, my husband preferred to drive around for 4 days in some crappy Enterprise Rent-A-Car instead of his 2015 Subaru WRX--a likely story.A mans word is his bond. If you feel that honesty and integrity are important, dont go here.

I just discovered Acme through Geico after a fender bender in my brand new car. The staff is professional and thorough, and the work is flawless. My only issue was I wasnt receiving the daily text updates. I called in several times, confirmed my number and it was a few weeks in before someone actually updated my number in the system. I wouldnt hesitate to have any work done there.

I came here after Geico sent me here when one of their insured rear ended my new car. Acme fixed it up completely: I couldnt even tell it happened. They even found an electrical issue from the fender bender and got Geico to replace that part as well. Service was fast, friendly, and professional and the mechanics were comfortable working on my foreign vehicle. I can highly recommend Acme Auto Body.

I agree with others as this is a horrible place. My brand new 2013 accord came out with 4 new dents on a bumper that was suppose to be painted. Car had to go in the shop 3 times and job is still not done. I ended up paying 500 for rental. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!!!! There is far better places out there.

ACME Auto Body was recommended by GEICO to repair damage to my vehicle (2014 VW Jetta) due to vandalism. I left the care there Tuesday morning to get a rear door window replaced. It took 3.5 days to get the job done. After that I am still finding glass fragments all over. Except for broken rear door window, my car was in pristine conditions all around.I believe, and i have evidence that during the time that my vehicle was there, my cars new left taillight was stolen and replaced with an old cracked one, which takes two minutes to perform. I have images to support my claim. the body shop owner and adjuster denied my claim and refused to compensate. The owner was even rude confrontational and aggressive. the Steve even told me that i have no case against him in the court because i cant prove it. So much for a great customer service. The new (old) taillight has signs of wear, lack rubber cushions and and has a crack that does not show on the original pictures that were taken by the adjuster when they were admitting the car for repairs.This place is crooked and horrible dont go there! I could not believe i was being treated like this within the borders of the USA!!!If I could give -5, I would.

This place is horrible! They guarantee their work for lifetime however will not fix the problem when the time comes. I went in there to get my bumper fixed. When I got my car back the steering wheel was scratched. The guy kept saying it was my nails however the car was not given to them like that. They fixed the steering wheel now a few months later that same area is cracking ( because obviously they are using after market cheap parts) and they refuse to fix it ( so their work is not lifetime guarantee). They are full of it and want to blame the customer for their mistake. This time around before even looking at the steering wheel the guy automatically said it was my nails then when he saw it he stated it was wear and tear which is not correct because the other side of the steering wheel is perfectly fine. DO NOT GO TO THEM TORAL RIP OFF

2nd time Ive fixed my Toyota Rav4 Here. If you have a Geico insurance this is the best place to go. Because there is a Geico Office inside, they could Estimate the repair cost almost immediately, get your car into the repair same day, and because of the Enterprise office they have in there, you could leave the place already driving your rental car, and Drop it Off right there when the repair is done.My car was repaired before the Police Report was ready to pick up.Thank You.
